This book is about six ladies from diverse places, ages, and background.
As the stories goes on it questions about society, it's norms for women and their dependence on other people.
The pictures in book are quite blur. The writing style of author is rough though amusing. The best part is poems in the book.

This book is a collection of 6 different short stories about women belonging to different age group, culture and background but there is one thing common among them that they all belong to India though their hurdles were different they were all because our Indian society has multiple restrictions for the women. It was so beautiful to read how they could overcome the difficulties and proved that self-love and self-respect should be above everything and why shouldn't it be? After all, nobody will love you if you don't love yourself and you should always respect yourself no matter what. Towards the end, there are 4 articles written by 4 different ladies on their experiences about love and the complexities they faced and conquered.

The author has very well put forward the complexities in the life of Indian women and how we as a woman can manage to overcome them. She has so closely observed the things prevailing in our society and has given life to her thoughts through such beautiful words. The stories are women-centric but I feel it will be great if even men can read and get a wider vision of the lives of different women.

My favourite short story was a short story no.3 "Absolute life". If you're searching for a light, relaxing, weekend read then here you go.

‘Love, Ladies and Siyappaa’ offered me 6 short stories. Each story starts with a beautiful poem. The book also contains beautiful sketches that cast a mesmerizing charm. The rhythm of each poem matched perfectly with its insightful messages. Each short story conveyed a deep message. The author stated many unsaid problems that a woman had to face. In our daily lives, women had to overcome many social stigmas, which raises a war within ourselves. Why she is not pregnant yet? Why she doesn't have a healthy relationship with her mother-in-law? Should women really possess desire and needs? Are women only meant for home chores? All of us face loads of questions regarding our singlehood as well as our married life.

The book displayed that how every time, the women had to always stand under the questioning sessions of society. Are women really equal to men? This question haunts most of us in our respective different fields. The book mostly entrapped all the sufferings and torments within different short stories. Personally, I felt that in certain areas, the author had conveyed extravagant things. At certain stages, it almost felt like ranting. This element made most of the stories a bit extra for me. I really liked the account dedicated to redefining beauty. It really did boost my confidence and helped me to grow as an individual. I really appreciate the efforts of the author.

Do you like a short story collection full of stories centered on women's life and their unuttered feelings, so raw, so vile and undeniably true and honest? Love, ladies and Siyappaa... Is just all of the above mentioned things and plenty more!

There is a neatly labeled index for the readers to choose their desired titles and hop on to the short, crispy and entertaining stories of women of varied ages, culture and dimensions in life.

What's more is the brutal honesty in these stories that I'm sure every women faces one time or another in her life, no matter where she lives! Polygamy, male chauvinism, physical violence against women, Bullying, disrespect and disregard are few of the discussed topics here.

Being a lover of women's fiction, this book had so much to offer me, but mainly these are Indian women and it could soo be your friend or sister for all we know!! There are also poems that welcome you before you stumble into these stories.

It's a short, yet compelling book with lots of stories and poems that I urge every women to read at least once!

Love, ladies, and siyappaa - Jiganshu Sharma

Genre: Contemporary fiction

Love, ladies, and siyappaa are some short stories about common problems of women in our society. It has six short stories.
1. It's "Two" Much
2. No Means No
3. Absolute Life
4. F*cked Up while F*cking Up
5. One Night Stand
6. Freedom to Desire
And it also has articles by some ladies on their experience about love and siyappaas. Each story starts with a poem that reflects the story.

Women in our society face many common problems. Some are suffering, some are fighting and struggling with some common problems of our society. But still, they're living their life silently. It's a worldwide problem for all women. Most of the time people blame women for everything. Instead, women are the ones who contribute the most to our society. They always try hard to keep their family happy and safe no matter what they go through. But still, society doesn't treat women the same as men.

My thoughts: I like this book. The book reflects some common problems of women in our society. Women's problems are something that we don't wanna talk about, right?
Why do we have to think like this?
Most of the time we think it's taboo, which is NOT!
So that's why we need to change our mentality first. Then we can change our society.

And thanks a lot to the author for sending me the book. 🖤

⭐ My Rating - 4. 5/5⭐
The book " Love, ladies and Siyapaa " is a modern era fiction written by Author Jiganshu Sharma.

This book is a collection of six short stories which deals with the lives of six charming ladies.
The main characters are Jaspreet Kaur, Naina, Ember D'souza, Aadya Jain, Faiza and Meena. They all have one thing in common, that is to have a happy and peaceful life just the way they want it to be. Each of these stories start with beautiful poem relevant to the story. I loved that thought. The stories talk about how women are pushed back with the society's norms. It also talks about how women are treated disrespectfully, inequality of gender, harassments and male dominations etc. Author has beautifully portrayed the characters with good plotting. The stories bring out the reality very well with the help of the blend of the 6 characters. My personal favorite story was "No means No". Overall it was a good read!!

'Love, ladies & Siyappa' is a collection of six short stories, each revolving around a women coming from different cultural and religious background but one thing common between them is Indian society and it's rules for women. The book shares the issues and the discriminations faced by women in India and how these women delt with them.
The language used is easy and understandable, however the pace of the book is kinda slow which put me off beat. Whereas the cover and title are both apt and catchy.

"What do you think about a woman’s life? It’s not a cakewalk. Lots of addition ,subtraction and planning is involved and needless to say lots of sacrifices are also required!!"

Love, Ladies and siyappa is a stories of six Ladies of different religion, age group and class of society, who love the concept of LOVE but face some SIYAPPAAS.

This book is a collection of short stories with titles
"It's 'Two' much",
" No means No",
"Absolute life",
"One night stand"
"Freedom to Desire" and one more.

The main characters are Jaspreet Kaur, Aadya , Faiza, Naina, Ember D'souza, and Meena.
Each story convey a beautiful and deep msg.. In daily lives, ladies faces a lot problems, they sacrifice a lot for others...yet no one understand them...People would say something, when a woman decided to take her decisions but those people would forget their duties to preach when a man decided to play wrong.

Will Jaspreet Kaur, Aadya Jain, Faiza, Ember D'souza, Naina and Meena, able to fulfill their sole desire of ‘living happily ever after’
Will they move a step ahead and burst the bubble of so-called feminism in India and unveil the dark side of Indian Psychology?

🔹Life is not easy. We are not princesses and our palaces are not painted in pink. We won’t live in our parent’s houses anymore. We have to adjust, whatever is the situation, whatever are the circumstances, we have to cope up and support our husbands. We are strong, and unbreakable and if we can give birth to a new life then sustaining the lives of many more is an easy task. We are the one who bind our families for the sake of their happiness.
🔹But what is this society? Isn’t this society made of people like us, who are too adamant to change? But change is good. We must try once for the sake of the betterment of those who are the major contributors of this society.

The story is quite simple and short but the way of expression of the author is what makes the book very lovable.
The title and the cover are perfect for the story. The language is simple and easy to understand.
I enjoyed reading this book, a must read for everyone.
Happy reading!!!!

You can't name it Lust... It just an emotion

"Yes, women are Goddess, indeed they are! They are the most beautiful creation of God. But we treat them as per our convenience."
In this world each of us striving for love. Love is an emotion, we are telling lie if we say love is selfless and it needs nothing. In love we search for trust, acceptance, respect from each other. Yes, we talk about all these. What about other things which we forget to talk about? Which we feel ashamed to talk about?. What is it?. The physical need, we fell in love with one another and to express that we use our physical pleasure as one tool. Are we talking about it clearly? Or is it a taboo which we should not talk about.
Love, ladies and siyappa by Jiganshu Sharma. This work gives enlightenment to those queries. We pretend women as goddess and taught them to save guard their chastity. We never taught them gave them chance to express their needs. If a woman says "NO" we question her growth. She should be submissive and accept whatever comes. The word "NO" should not present in her dictionary after her marriage. If she said that arouse the anger of her "BETTER HALF".
Another problem if she wants something more... She called as whore. Because she can't express everything openly. Jiganshu Sharma beautifully narrated everything in this short story collection.
Love, ladies and siyappa, it is a collection of short stories, Articles and poems that talks about love and ladies. It throws light on matters that was hidden in our country. It throws light on a girl whose life changed after the fatal accident of her husband. When a man lose his manliness we talk about male but what about his wife? She also facing lot of problems because of that... Do we think about her?
Is women's life only surrounded with working for her family in a day and working for her husband in night? Is it a shame if she wants to excel in her dreams? This work put forth all these arguments. The narrative also structured beautifully and simply. The poems were so beautiful and expressive. There were articles written by powerful women about their brave decision in life.

📖This book is a short story collection about six ladies and their siyappas (problems). I have always got a soft corner for women oriented stories being a girl.
1️⃣st story is about Jaspreet who is planning her pregnancy but her business and family pressure is just too much to concentrate. Meanwhile, her husband met an accident and got some of his organs damaged and cannot be a father now. It's appreciable how Jaspreet manages everything.
2️⃣nd story is of Aadya who is a schoolgirl just about to understand the beautiful feeling called love but her classmate Sid ruins her feelings and tries to molest her. But Aadya also gets her revenge well.
3️⃣rd narrates about Faiza who is in her fifties, trying hard to earn some money as her husband doesn't contribute much. One day, her husband abandoned her and married another young girl to satisfy his hunger. But Faiza manages her emotions well and starts her own separate life.
4️⃣th story described story of an ambitious girl, Naina, who is in live-in with her boyfriend, Dheeraj. One day, she got angry with partiality towards men in her office and resigned. And same day, Dheeraj got irritated with her behaviour and left her. But Naina got up well and started her own company.
5️⃣th story is about Ember, who was cheated by her ex boyfriend, Rahul and now she no more needed a love life. She got drunk every night and had one-night stands with random boys. But one day, another boy named Rahul, met her and changed her opinions.
6️⃣th one narrates the story of Meena who is in her forties, living an ordinary life, obedient to her husband. She has not experienced love yet. But one day, she met a boy from his childhood and got to know he is still in love with her. And just in his one touch of love, she experienced that beautiful feeling and got courage to live her life.

I enjoyed all stories thoroughly🤩 Every woman had their own struggles in life.😑 This book focuses how a woman has multiple problems on hand at any one time and how gracefully she manages everything inspite of every injustice made to her.🙇🏻‍♀️ It's recommended to everyone who wants to read something extraordinary.👌

Stories of the regressive atmosphere in which Indian women live and survive

Originally a Punjabi-Urdu word, 'Siyappa' means wailing loudly when one has fallen into trouble, but this word is largely used like some sort of a cool word. Hence I was expecting more humour from the book, going by the 'Chick-lit' like look of the bookcover.

Here is a collection of 6 short stories written by the author which are based on the North Indian culture and society, presented along with a few articles by other women. This book touches upon the different scenarios revolving around intimacy issues and physical abuse. The author has tried to question the coercions women face, and secretly suffer but are never allowed to raise a voice against.

The first story addresses the age old problem of the stereotypical MIL's obsession of having her Daughter-in- law produce an offspring on demand for the sake of the family's misplaced pride. In my opinion, those irrelevant emojis placed at the beginning of every chapter, gave an amateurish touch to good fiction.

While the second story is a typical North- Indian urban story of a school going girl who grapples with the menace of having rejected a toxic BF's sexual harassment. The author very considerately provides a glossary for the juvenile slang words used like 'on fleek', 'darking' etc.

"There were lots of similarities between Faiza and that carpet. Both of them were old and worn out. Both of them had served the family well...."
I liked the third story in the collection; of how the aged and devoted wife Faiza goes looking for her own 'Absolute Life' after she's forced to accept her husband Ashraf's second wife, his second marriage being perfectly acceptable as per their religious norms.

The book has been written to sensitise society towards 'what women want' but then women already know. The book needs a cover that men will also pick up and read

📚Love, Ladies & Siyappaa... Another extraordinary work by my favourite author Jiganshu Sharma. So, where do I begin? The book is a compilation of six short stories and deals with the plethora of relationships and marriage of six different women hailing from different cultural and religious backgrounds. Jiganshu has well described the challenges that are being faced by a woman in Indian society and the way they are being discriminated and being forced to be kept under a limitation of their true scope.

📚I loved the way this book has been structured. The author starts each story with a poem that completely matches with the story and gives an insight into what she is trying to convey to the reader’s mind. The stories are short yet they conveyed a deep message to society. Each story questions the unsaid problems that are being faced by women in terms of marriage, family relationship, independence and much more.

📚I absolutely loved this book!! It's an extraordinary story collection, which you don't want to end. I appreciate the author’s idea of including two wonderful poems drafted by her other two author friends and that was an added cream on the cake.

📚The characters are so well presented that you actually feel you are part of the family and can see around similar incidents happening in our own house. The language is simple, and the poems are also very easy to read and understand. At the outset, it was an emotional and satisfying read. This was the second book by Jiganshu that I've read now, and it won’t be my last! Definitely recommended to anybody who enjoys emotional women's fiction. I look forward to reading more works from Jiganshu. She is indeed a very talented author and one definitely to keep on the radar! And I leave 5 stars for this one.

"𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣’𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚? 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠. 𝙇𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 ,𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙."

We live in a society where for a woman, having a good family, a nice husband, happy in-laws, well- behaved kids, proud parents are considered as a perfect life.
On the other hand women's respect, equality, freedom, happiness, education, career is compromised many times, in order to achieve and maintain the society defined perfect life.

In this novel, the author has brought up several issues related to women's life in form of short stories. The short stories are of the topics like women's career choices, her relationship with in-laws, physical desires of women, male prejudice against women, male dominated work places, physical violence, pressure of getting pregnant and a lot more.

This book truly portraits the strength of women. It beautifully expresses how women try to keep their families together. It is necessary to value and respect women around us for the deeds and sacrifices they willingly make for the sake of their families. Author has talked about all those issues in a very simple, natural and yet hilarious way.

Every chapter begins with a beautiful poem which reflects the message of the story. The poems written by the Wordsworth Duo at the end is impressive.
There are some grammatical mistakes in the book but other than that the writing style is commendable. I would recommend this book to readers who are looking for a light yet powerful and hilarious read.

How the rich-handedness of the men suppressed the women?

How the woman slaved into the In-law's house in this society?

How the family denied the identity and inner desires of the woman?

How the woman are sacrificing their own respect, desire, bliss, expectations from their family for the sake of being good and responsibility woman?

What are the dreadful circumstances have to face in the society and family?

How the woman are lose their original identity in the society and family for the sake of being woman?

How they are suffering from the to do list in the society and family?

Likewise, what are the domestic issues woman has facing in their routine life has been well penned by the author.

As a woman, she arouses the pricking questions to the society and the family regarding domestic issues or suppressions faced by the woman in this chauvinism society.

Ever single characters in these six short stories has the strong female suppression and distress. And it narrates How they are overcoming from these miserable circumstances by their courage?. In every story woman are supporting each other in the hard situations.

Even though woman compared to the Goddess, they are struggling from their lost identity to shine. Holly Quran gives equal rights to the woman. At the same time why it is denying the woman to visit matsuri and giving rights to men for getting multiple marriage, which leads woman into the miserable hell.

Woman rights are till not in active.

All the rights reserved for the men makes women passive.

When you steal five minutes of solace from your everyday hectic schedule of managing home and work, and sit in the balcony or terrace overlooking the skyline of your city, do you too often get lost not in the beauty of your city but rather in loose trails of thoughts that how all of us 'women' across age groups, country, race are all some how in the same boat? Have the similar story to tell?? If you are into literature by the women for the women then I have amazing recommendation for you. Love Ladies and Siyyapa !

Hilarious and emotional stories of six LADIES of different religion, age group and class of society, who love the concept of LOVE but face some SIYAPPAAS or we can say undebated social issues of our Indian Society like polygamy, male chauvinism, disrespect, physical violence, bullying and much more.
Will Jaspreet Kaur, Aadya Jain, Faiza, Ember D'souza, Naina and Meena, able to fulfill their sole desire of ‘living happily ever after’ with help of their quirky and out of box solutions?
Or
Will they move a step ahead and burst the bubble of so-called feminism in India and unveil the dark side of Indian Psychology?
Or
Their innocent souls are eaten away by the darkness of Indian society?

My verdict : emotional yet humours , this book is truly a gem to read.It beings out the biases present in our society be it any religion or region when it comes to women beautifully. This was one gripping read, the humour and a sense of familiarity kept me going. I simply loved it my and I say this is a must read

'Love, Ladies and Siyappaa' offered me 6 short stories. Every story begins with an excellent sonnet. The book likewise contains lovely portrays that cast a hypnotizing charm. The mood of every sonnet coordinated impeccably with its astute messages. Each short story passed on a profound message. The creator expressed many inferred issues that a lady needed to confront. In our every day lives, ladies needed to conquer numerous social marks of disgrace, which raises a battle inside ourselves. Why she isn't pregnant yet? Why she doesn't have a solid relationship with her mother by marriage? Should ladies truly have want and needs? Are ladies just implied for home tasks? We all face heaps of inquiries seeing our singlehood just as our wedded life.

The book showed that how without fail, the ladies needed to consistently remain under the scrutinizing meetings of society. Are ladies truly equivalent to men? This inquiry frequents a large portion of us in our separate various fields. The book for the most part ensnared every one of the sufferings and tortures inside various short stories. By and by, I felt that in specific territories, the creator had passed on extreme things. At specific stages, it nearly wanted to bluster. This component made the greater part of the tales somewhat extra for me. I truly preferred the record committed to rethinking excellence. It truly supported my certainty and assisted me with developing as a person. I truly appreciate the endeavors of the creator.

# Book: Love, Ladies & Siyappaa...
# Author: by Jiganshu Sharma

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 The author has come up with 6 short stories enveloped with insightfully elegant messages to realize the true nature of social culture, structure and stratification.

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 Oftentimes women have been continually captivated in the coercive forces of societal norms without critical contemplation, careful consideration, putting them into challenging circumstances, collapsing their coherent comfort.

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 Social discourse relating to personal, social, relational, culture detriments & multiplies the disintegration of women's dignity, devaluing their identity & deconstructing their perpetuity.

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 Women are challenged at every moment and questioned at every second.
Are they only meant to remain captivated around these barriers or they have a choice to break the barrier? is the hooking and motivating strings in these stories.

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 These six stories encapsulate the eloquent message to boost readers confidence and to help to grow as an individual?

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 I really appreciate the efforts of the author of this social awakening. A nice one to grab, digest, alert and motivate about humanity and its black shadows exist in the society.

🌿🔆⚜️🔱 A remarkable sensitization to society through this piece of work. I liked it.

Love, ladies & siyappa by Jiganshu Sharma is a collection of short stories, Articles and poems that talk about things which were never voiced out. The beauty of this work lied on the narration. The author narrated the story in such way it showed the deeper emotions of women.
We made women as Goddess and made their voice inaudible to certain things. Physical things are one such things. There are times when they want some more...there are some time they are tired and they just need few caring words and a hug. But is she has the freedom to talk about it. She can't say "NO" and at the same time she can't voice out her need. Both these questions her chastity and her growth. And when she feels numb during physical union that means she didn't feel the love of her person. Can she ask him whether he loves her? She can't because of she does she will be named a "whore". A man can seek another woman when he is not satisfied this world can accept it even though they are against it,but can a woman do it?
Each woman has a desire to achieve in her life. Is she encouraged to do it? If she want to be a writer or event manager or a tailor... She can't... Because she has to care her family. Can a woman talk about being independent? This work questions all the taboo and weaves around woman and it is bomb of multiple questions.

The book Love, Ladies & Siyappaa... by Jiganshu Sharma.
Is a set of 6 quick stories written with the aid of the writer which can be based on the North Indian way of life and society, provided at the side of a few articles via different ladies. This ebook touches upon the distinctive scenarios revolving around intimacy issues and physical abuse. The author has tried to impeach the coercions ladies face, and secretly suffer but are in no way allowed to raise a voice towards.

The first tale addresses the age old problem of the stereotypical MIL's obsession of getting her Daughter-in- regulation produce an offspring on demand for the sake of the family's misplaced pleasure. In my opinion, the ones beside the point emojis positioned at the beginning of every bankruptcy, gave an amateurish touch to right fiction.

While the second tale is a regular North- Indian city tale of a faculty going lady who grapples with the menace of having rejected a toxic BF's sexual harassment. The creator very considerately offers a word list for the juvenile slang words used like 'on fleek', 'darking' and so on.

This work placed forth these kind of arguments. The narrative additionally structured superbly and clearly. The poems were so stunning and expressive. There were articles written by means of powerful girls about their courageous choice in existence.

Happy Reading!

Real. That single word sums up the book. 'Love, Ladies and Siyappa' captures the story of six women, so ordinary yet extraordinary in their own ways and addresses the diverse problems faced by women, ranging from all age groups, be it teenagers, married women or aged ladies, and the sacrifices they're unfairly expected to make in the Indian society, but the author gives each of her tales a Bollywood twist, making it a humourous yet enlightening and excessively hooking read. Each chapter was more inspiring than the last, each one subtly yet firmly established the rights women can expect from this society and their loved ones, to whom they've dedicated their whole lives. My favourite part of the entire novel were the poems by the Wordsworth Duo at the very end, they both really hit hard.
In a widely perfect read, one fact that really marred all that the author built in the course of the entire novel were the grammatical errors, of which I found an unhealthy abundance. If only this was excluded, this book would have been the ideal feminism read, in my opinion.
In summary, I enjoyed this one immensely, connected to it and would recommend this to everyone, especially those looking for a light, deeply satisfying and intelligent book.

The book ‘Love, Ladies and Siyappaa’ holds six short stories. Each story begins with a beautiful poem and the sketches gives an added charm to the book and also to the stories. Each poem matched perfectly with the message in it and also it conveys a deep thought. The author stated many unsaid problems of a woman in this society. In our daily lives, women has to face many social issues. So many questions that the society will throw on herself like Why she is not pregnant yet? Why she doesn't have a healthy relationship with her mother-in-law? Why should she possess an a desire? Are women only meant for household chores and care about kids and family? All of us might have came across loads of questions when we are single or even after getting married too.

Are women really equal to men? This question should be asked again and again. The author explained well and gave confidence to all the readers that how a women has to face the society so bravely. Those fictional short stories and the articles of some ladies on their experiences on real life events are all a complete guide to a women to handle this society so boldly.

This book is an assortment of six short stories which manages the existences of six enchanting women.

The fundamental characters are Jaspreet Kaur, Naina, Ember D'souza, Aadya Jain, Faiza and Meena. They all make them thing in like manner, that is to have an upbeat and quiet life simply the manner in which they need it to be. Every one of these accounts start with wonderful sonnet applicable to the story. I cherished that idea. The narratives talk about how ladies are pushed back with the general public's standards.
It illuminates matters that was covered up in our country. It illuminates a young lady whose life changed after the deadly mishap of her better half. When a man lose his masculinity we talk about male yet what might be said about his better half? She likewise confronting parcel of issues thus... Do we consider her?
The sonnets composed before every part's start is so much relatable to the narratives that you will fall head over heels in love for creator's pen work.
I loved the cover and story totally does the equity with the title. In general its entertaining, passionate and enlightening read.

Women go through a lot of pain and humiliation in today's world yet they strive hard to keep their families intact. They keep the happiness and respect to their family above their feelings and their happiness work day and night to fulfill the need of their family. But are the women treated the same way and they treat men? Is there equality among men and women everywhere?

The author has portrayed the strength of women through 6 short stories where each story focuses on different women going through a different phase of their life and how they overcome their struggles not losing their hope.

The stories focus on sensitive issues like the pressure on a woman to become pregnant by in-laws, their struggles in a male-dominated workplace, domestic violence, physical desires of women that they fear to express in front of their other half, social stigma, inequality between men and women everywhere etc.

The author has narrated these issues very beautifully and hilariously. Each story starts with a poem that resonates with the essence of that story. The language is simple and lucid and the characters are very inspiring and fun to read. Overall it was a good story.
