Protected is book 2 in the Hazak Private Security series by Jade Webb and oh my...what a way to continue this series!
We pick up right where the 1st book ends with Daphni finding out about the threats against her siblings, what happened and why Gabby disappeared and now the threats are pointed her way. When her new bodyguard is introduced she can’t believe it...it’s her ex, Roman Brantley from years ago. This could be a real problem...because she never got over him, just pushed him to the deep recesses in her mind.
What happens next between Roman and Daphni keeps you turning the pages, heats raising, suspense, stalker and so much more...

This book starts off right where book one leaves. From book one you get the gist that something is off about Sophie and her behavior makes her pretty much an unlikable character. In this book we dive deeper into her reckless, careless behavior. We witness her spiraling out of control and also view her plummet to nothingness. This is her story. A story of learning to live again and of learning to love yourself.
Roman is her first and only love, a love she threw away. Now they are thrown together for her safety. Emotions run wild and truths get revealed.

Great Series
This is book 2 in the Hazak Security Series. As Daphni’s tour continues, the truth about the stalker comes out. And with Liam having been shot she needs a new bodyguard. The best of the best. And Roman is the best at being her ex, and the one who steal holds her heart.
