Things appear to be settling down in the island parish of St. Bridget's, and Rev Jess Ward is enjoying the relative peace in the lead up to Pentecost. So, maybe it's unwise to invite in the local archaeological society to dig up the old well?
What will the dig beneath the floor of the baptismal font uncover?
Spring is a time of fresh starts and new beginnings. Is that romance we smell in the air?
Life is skipping along until a sudden death takes the spring out of Jess’s step.
Old rivalries, deception and ambition are all viable motives for violence, but could it be a crime of passion or even self-defence?
In a mystery that appears to involve some of her closest family and friends, Jess turns to her ancient past to help solve this latest tragedy.
Divine Death is the fourth book in the Isle of Wesberrey Series.

Perplexing indeed! This is a wonderful mystery that also examines the odd and literally never-ending choices one is faced with on a daily basis. If we took time to think through every single one we'd never make it through a day. So how does one filter that? Well, most of us make decisions on the spur of the moment and just hope for the best. Sometimes...nope...the best doesn't get to play a part. Another brilliant story by this author!
You start to read the book and think you know who the killer is and boy are you wrong. I love the way the author weaves the story to grab your interest from the very start.
A great read just like the previous 3 - too hard to put down. Read in one sitting.
Another great installment of Jessamy on the island. Penelope always does such a great job of 'who dun it' - I never have a clue until right at the end! LOL! Loved it!
The Reverend has a lot on her plate in this exciting episode of a delightful, and often emotional series. A definite winner with spot on characters and adventure. Highly Recommended.
