Safe Haven- Neverland (Part 1) Book 7 of The Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Horror Series by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another good one for the series. This one has a little bit of family, hopes, and battles. And zombies of course. If you are following the series, you definitely need to listen to this one as it’s still great this far in! If you are new to Christopher’s books, make sure you start from the beginning or you’re missing out. You get invested in the characters- it’s impossible not to. It’s easy to listen to the books in one sitting. 4 ½ stars for story, 5 stars narration.
What’s it about? Part of the group is stuck and surrounded by zombies as a new threat emerges, while the other part of the group is fighting their own battles. We get a good amount of Mike in this book (his memories, he gets his hopes up, etc.), but a variety of the others as well. There are some defining moments. Without giving too much away, the group gears up for what I’m guessing will be an epic battle in the next book. Love the banter between Mike and Jules. Love the characters and their development. My only dislike was the action occurs a little later than normal, but it’s a good build up. There’s a bonus preview at the end of Christopher’s new post-apocalyptic series The Burning Tree with Kim narrating (wow Kim, great singing!).
The narrator, Kim Bretton, is brilliant. Love the accents and characters. Kim’s narration adds to the story.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: death (killing, one suicide), memories of father’s abuse, and other post-apocalyptic type situations (no food). Language used: Fx68, Sx40.

There are not enough stars for me to properly rate this book! This series and these characters have become like family to me. I rarely reread books since there are so many great ones waiting to be read, but with this series, I always make an exception. Even after reading the book, listening to the audiobook is still a wonderful experience!
The residents of Safe Haven are reeling from the latest attack on their homes. The plan is to return and start the rebuilding process. But, of course, there is always something that stands in the way of the best laid plans! George is worried about his two granddaughters, Wren and Robyn, who have left to find Robyn's friend, Mila. Jules is recovering from a gunshot wound. Jake has once again fallen into a comatose state without any explanation. And, Mike continues to be the badass hero we have come to know and love.
Mr. Artinian has done a fantastic job of combining plenty of zombie action, villains, and emotion. It is rare to read a book in this genre that will have you in tears, but this book will definitely find you looking for tissues. There are a lot of emotional scenes, with the characters revealing parts of themselves that we haven't seen before. There are also plenty of happy moments in this book along with the action and plenty of snarky dialogue between the characters.
Kim Bretton continues to amaze me with her performances. Her character voices always tell you who is talking even if the book itself didn't identify them. Her talent adds a lot to an already brilliant book. An added bonus to this audiobook is the song at the end introducing the author's next project, "The Burning Tree". What a chilling anthem! I was given the chance to listen to this book by the author/publisher/ narrator and chose to review it.

Prefect timing !!!
Once again both series’s have connected into one.
And reviewing is getting harder an harder coming up with new way to say how amazing the author Christopher Artinian is.
One thing for sure, he have blown my mind on each of his books with his incredible imagination, so many different characters ( each with a different soul and behavior ), a complete world and an amazing story never repeating himself not even once on any of the books in his series’s.
And lets not forget the perfect narration with an angelic voice Kim Bretton that each word is fully understandable, each sentence goes right into the your heart felling exactly what each character does and which way the story is heading to. All that she does with her voice. In a way she turns the book into a movie!

Wow! Read this series!
This could be the best novel of Safe Haven yet! However, did you really have to make us so emotional at the start of the book? These characters and the world that you have created just sucks the reader in and we go through every up and down roller coaster of emotions that they experience. Bravo Sir, Bravo!
The only way this story could have been better was for Wren, Robyn, and Mila to join the fight. Now that the gang is all back together again, I can not wait until the next book part 2.
As I have said before, if you have not read any of this authors books, then you are really missing out! So I highly recommend that you get his books and leave your reviews. Thank you for using Kindle Unlimited.

In Book 7, the people of Safe Haven are questioning whether they should rebuild what they once had, or whether they should move on, or whether they should go their separate ways. As this series draws to an explosive conclusion, what more trials and tribulations will the characters have to go through? There is a part of me that hates to see this series come to an end, but then I also want to see how the series concludes, so I'm looking forward to the next book. I recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre, but some of the language is more appropriate for more mature readers. Kim Bretton's narration is awesome and adds to the series' entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Another exciting instalment of my favourite series ever! I was absolutely engrossed from start to finish. Just when the gang seem to get over one monumental misfortune another arises, but they face it head on and together. You don’t just read these books you live them with every turn of the page. Each and every character is written so well you dread anything happening to them (leave George alone please) and old and new characters blend flawlessly. Cannot wait for the second part of neverland. This series should be on your priority list along with the end of everything and any other book this author has wrote.

Holy Moly - what an action packed book!
I held off reading this instalment of the series as long as I could. If you’ve got to this point I’m hoping you know exactly why I did that. We don’t know how long until the next book is out. And after that ending I mean come on man! Seriously! This is like waiting for Christmas or Easter or our birthday to roll around - we know it’s coming but it feels like it’s just gonna take forever!!
Our favourite characters were all there to greet us and we even got to meet a couple of new faces.
What can I say about this book that will make you jump off the fence? What I want to know is if you’ve gotten this far what are you doing on a fence??!!!

This story just keeps getting better and better every time I a new book comes out. Couldn’t love these characters more.
Mike is his usual bad ass self. Life continues to be one long crazy life altering and endangering adventure.

Mindblowingly awesome page turner
OMG this man can write incredible stories that you just cant put down... its a page turning never ending rollercoaster that you just can't turn the page quick enough or put the damn thing down. Laugh cry scream characters you either love or totally despise!!!
I found the author after reading The burning tree series which is just phenomenal! That lead me to Safe Haven, and The end of everything. They're all completely mindblowingly good and you should add to your read list!!!

Oh my frickin God
This is one if the best in the series. Christopher Artinian has done it again. All of his characters are both realistic and larger than life at the same time. I am in awe of his ability to suck me into the world of the Rams. If you don't read anything else, you have to read both of his series based in this world....you won't regret it. If I could give more stars I would.

The group are still surviving but their minds are in tatters, after living through yet another devastating attack on their settlement they must now try to rebuild. The problem facing them of course are now all the RAMS they have to get by and then get rid of. They have more terrifying encounters with RAMS, humans and to top it off, get news that even a more chilling threat is on the way. Another emotionally charged, character driven gem from the mind of Artinian.

What can I say this was a roller coaster of a ride. It was nice to be in the world of safe haven again. This is a brilliant series as is the end of everything. The story is intense and I couldn't put it down . Seriously I was up till past midnight and I get up at 5 but I just needed to know how it ended . Really looking forward to the next instalment . Another barnstorming addition to the series, great to have the 3 girls back in safehaven . Pressure is definitely building nicely for what is coming next. A zombie outbreak is one thing and always what gets me interested but it's always the humans that end up being the true evil and I have a feeling there is a truly epic battle on the way. Can't wait to get stuck into part 2

Excellent.
Such tension! Just when you think things can’t get much worse they do and they endanger the whole village. I was happy with the way the author drew together a few threads, and of course the arrival of Wren and Robyn put a whole new perspective to the plans of Mike and Shaw. An excellent descriptive and immersive read.

A breathtaking ,edge of your seat Zompoc adventure.
I rated this five stars because they didn't have a higher rating. The whole Safehaven/ End of Everything saga has been fantastic but this.one gets you so ramped up for the next I'm screaming. If you haven't read any of Christopher Artinian's books you aren't a zompoc fan. Another great Christopher, thank you!

Brilliant ,
Wow , Love this series it just gets better with every addition. I was worried about some my favorite characters to the point of yelling while reading Had me on edge for awhile , Now Im really worried about everyone and what's coming next. Looking forward to Part 2 although Im sure Im not sleeping once I get started

Still Safe
Well another scenario down. Safe Haven had so much going on back to back. It seems like they're facing every attack possible and still standing. They not only have the rams to worry about but evil humans keep showing up to take their home too. Just when they thought they were getting things back to their normal, another threat is on the way.

Well it might be book 7, but it's as great as the first. Really didn't want it to end, hopefully book 8 will be out soon. Safe Haven and The end of everything, are such wonderful book's with great characters. Every single book is a must read

Another brilliant book in the Safe Haven story. If you want a thrilling, exciting, action packed series to get into, this is the one to start and it will lead you to many more. Highly addictive reading and you will become hooked. Enjoy !

Another totally thrilling and action packed instalment of what is a fantastic series. Hard to put down once you start and Is full of blood, guts and gore. A must for the zombie/apocalypse survivalist genre reader. Loved it 👍

He just keeps getting better
The best Safe Haven book to date! Part I being as good as it was I can't wait to read Neverland Part 2. I love it when a book can make me forget about the pain I am in and this book does that in spades. Thank you to the author!
