Could a job as a cashier be a life-altering opportunity?

Charlotte’s interview with Benton Gordon convinces him of one thing. The owner of Gordon’s, a department store catering to a special clientele of age play Daddies, Mommies, and their precious Littles, has been searching for his Little girl for many years. Can he convince this amazing young woman to allow him to care for her as only a Daddy could?

Charlotte has overcome obstacles all her life and yet still sees the best in everyone. It’s her turn now for life to give her lemonade. This is the happily ever after you’ll hold your breath hoping that she’ll find.

Addiction Warning: Pepper’s stories will touch your heart and may warm your bottom. While both sweet & spicy, the Dr. Richards’ Littles stories may contain more heat than some will find comfortable. Playing doctor with Dr. Richards can be an intense experience that borders on electrifying. The greatest risk, however, is developing an intense craving for more after reading just one. Proceed with caution.

The way I rate/review books is with a baseline of 3. 3 being that there was grammatical errors or unnecessarily wordy or a book with a hidden agenda - something "offensive" hidden under a genre it doesn't belong in. A 4 is a book that is well written, has good character development, is an enjoyable read. A 5 star rating, for me, is one that I would absolutely buy the book and ask the author to sign it.

Why do I tell you this. I rate CHARLOTTE a 4 based on the quality of the writing. While I did not care for it, I was NOT blindsided because I knew what this book was about going into it. There are very clear warnings about the content of this book in the blurb. If you are offended by the blurb even a little bit, this is NOT the book for you.

While this is book 7 in a 23 (wow, 23?) book series it is very easy to follow and not be confused about who is who within the story - the characters are clear in their roles. The events about to take place are explained in a narrative that, while it is being told to another character, I felt was to again give me fair warning with what was to come.

Did this book open my eyes to a new genre of books I would like to read? No. I'm grateful to know that we live in an era where things that could be considered vulgar or gross to some and a lifestyle to others is able to be published. I'm grateful that I live in a place where I have free will to explore all different things through books. And I'm grateful that authors allow us to read their work.

Charlotte: Dr. Richards’ Littles 7 by Pepper North

5 Stars and this is based strictly on the writing talent of this author.

I'm like totally blown away right now...I'm not sure even where to begin reviewing this story. This has left me utterly speechless…This is not only my first read by this author but it is my first read of anything like this storyline. I'll be honest, when I got done I immediately pulled up google because I just had to know if this lifestyle truly exists.

I'm going to break this review down into 2 sections...1. The storyline...the synopsis had my head all messed up and I had to try this book. I went into it with a complete open mind and let me just say... I've been blown away many many times with things I've read in my life but nothing has ever had my jaw on the floor through the entire story like this one. I read it so fast because I, well I don't know what I was lol, I just know I couldn’t put it down. I can’t even tell you if I liked the book or not, this lifestyle is not something I can even come close to imagining but then I have to ask myself why could I not put it down? I can only explain this by going on to the 2nd part of my review and that is the writing of this story. This author took a subject that I so totally have no interest in and dont really want to know any more about and had me so engrossed in the story with her amazing writing style that I couldn't put it down. I can't even find the right words to explain this except to say the writing was completely awesome, the flow of the story obviously flowed perfectly since before I knew it I was done.

Would I recommend this book? Only to those that can open their minds and accept that there are differences among all of us and for anyone that really appreciates a solid talent in writing. If you don't feel like you can open your mind to something so far out there but does really exist then do not read this book. She warns this right in the synopsis. Would I read another book by this author? Yes, now that I'm over the initial shock of it all I think I would, just not sure I would read any more about this lifestyle, and that is just a personal choice.

Charlotte is the seventh book in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series by Pepper North. I will admit that this book isn’t something that I would normally read, but it showed up on my feed and curiosity got the better of me. This is part of a series that focuses on characters in the ‘littles’ community, those that ‘age play’ and immerse themselves in that lifestyle. Age play is where an adult chooses to live their life as an infant, a toddler, a child, or a teenager- and have another adult as their care giver, playing the part of their mother or father. This book/series also explores the reasons why someone might choose to become a little or a caregiver. Because this is my first read from this author I can’t say what the other books in the series are about, but this book contained romance, some drama, kink, and graphic/erotic sex scenes.
Charlotte is a college graduate of interior design, but has struggled to find work in her field. Things are getting desperate and she really needs to find a job- this leads her to a cashier’s position at Gordon’s (a store that caters to the Littles community)- where she meets Benton and a whole ‘new’ world opens up before her.
I loved meeting Charlotte and Benton- this is definitely a character driven plot- that has a sweet story as well. Although not my usual fare, I am happy I kept an open mind and explored the Littles world. I would definitely read another of Ms. North’s books again, she writes really well- and there are over 20 in this series to choose from.
A quick and easy read!

Thank you, Ms. North!

I went into this book with a completely open mind and I am glad that I did. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the way the author wrote and told the story, you were engrossed in the characters more so than how the characters are choosing to live their lives. This is definitely NOT for anyone under the age of eighteen. It contains some pretty graphic scenes with kink. Despite all of this I really loved the book. It is just a shy of 140 pages, but it is a jam-packed story that had me hooked from beginning to end in one sitting. I just couldn’t put it down until I found out how things would work out for Charlotte.

Charlotte is in a desperate situation. She needs a job and a roof over her head. Eventually getting an interview and a job at Gordon’s leads her to meet Benton. Benton has been looking for a ‘little’ to fulfill his fantasies and the moment he lays his eyes on Charlotte he knows he needs to at least try introducing her to the world he lives in. After showing her all about age play, which is when adults choose to live their lives as a teenager, a child or an infant under the care of a person they have selected to take the role of a mom or dad. The story really does push off from there and explores a lot of things that goes with this lifestyle as well as what would possibly drive one to seek out said life.

The couple: Benton and Charlotte

Romance trope: DDlg
Series: Dr. Richard's Littles
Length: 132 pages

Plot: Charlotte is having trouble finding work after graduation difficult until she shows up for an interview at Gordon's. She is just what the owner, Benton, is looking for in more ways than one. He needs a cashier and he needs a Little Girl. He just has to convince her that she's the one he needs.

Commentary: I think I'm giving up on this author. She definitely hits the spot for some people, but her female characters have become so naive as to be pure dumb, and I just have trouble imagining it. There are plenty of great female Little characters who are also smart, clever, capable adults, no matter the type of dynamic they live. Part of Charlotte's problem was the abuse and neglect she suffered in foster care, but I'll never believe she didn't know how to do half the things Benton had to teach her. Yes, she had serious conditioning, but she also went to college - she had those four years on her own to learn to sleep in a bed and sit on a couch and eat and wear clothes, etc. That was a little over the top. But I've noticed that pattern from this author. The heroines are not bright, and even though they aren't actual children, they are made to seem like children as a way of reinforcing the idea of them being a natural Little. This is not kink-shaming - I've read hundreds of books about the DDlg lifestyle, and will continue to read them. I don't think that's necessary to make the heroine so simple-minded. I guess it's just something I don't like in my characters. Others like this character profile, so I'll leave these books to them.

Also, the dialogue was very stilted and formal. And this one felt like it ended abruptly. I guess it was just a lot of things for me. I'll stop!

Charlotte: Dr. Richards' Littles 7
By: Pepper North
5 out of 5 stars

The story Charlotte: Dr. Richards' Littles 7 by Pepper North is a book that I enjoyed reading. I was curious when I read the details of the story as I had never heard of age play before. The story is not a long one and does give you a better understanding of age play and what goes between those living the lifestyle. I was drawn to the characters of Charlotte and Benton. Charlotte is such a sweet young woman. She is currently in a position where her finances are almost non-existent, and she now is looking to be a cashier at Gordons. I also found her to be upbeat however hesitant when she is provided with things that she needs. She is also someone that has been treated differently and doesn’t feel that she should judge others. When Benton first meets Charlotte, he finds himself wanting to take care of her, get to know her better. He is kind and compassionate to her and wants to make sure that she takes care of herself. She is learning about age play through working at Gordons. Will she also find that her life is changing as well? There are also other characters that you are introduced to and I enjoyed reading about them and their interactions with Charlotte and Benton. I would call this a unique and interesting book. It is the seventh story in a series that doesn’t have to be read in order. It is a story once read that you will not soon forget.

This was a very interesting book. The subject matter is definitely not one for everyone. Charlotte: Dr. Richard’s Littles 7 is written by Pepper North. If you are not sure what “Littles” are then you definitely need to look it up. If you do know what they are then you just might like this book. Charlotte was on her last leg and was basically going to be living on the streets if she didn’t get this job at this very particular department store. Benton Gordon was the proprietor of the department story. Charlotte intrigued Benton and the more and more that Benton got to know Charlotte, the more he became interested in her socially. However, Benton has very particular tastes and wanted Charlotte to learn about the lifestyle so that perhaps they might have the relationship that he wanted. Charlotte just wanted to be taken care of for once. Of course, this story is a HEA and the two definitely become a couple. There is very little of the sexy stuff in this story but, the “Littles” lifestyle isn’t all about sex. Even though this subject matter isn’t what my tastes lean toward, the story itself was really great and the writing pulled me in and I couldn’t put the book down. This story was definitely interesting and intriguing all in the same token. I applaud the author for writing about a sensitive subject matter and because of writing I want to read her other books in the series and perhaps other books she may have written as well. Well done Pepper North!

Charlotte: Dr. Richards’ Littles by Pepper North
4 Stars

This book is definitely not for everyone. The story is about age-play and it revolves around Charlotte and Benton. It goes into detail about enemas and examinations so be warned.

“ Age play is when adults choose to live their lives as a teenager, a child or an infant under the care of a person they have selected to take the role of Mommy or Daddy”

I have never read a book like this ever. Definitely A+ for originality. I didn’t know much about age play prior to reading this book. It opened my eyes to a lot. Although this is really not my thing, the book was well written and the story was enjoyable. It is part seven in the Dr. Richards’ Littles series but can be read as a stand-alone. Each book focuses on a different couple.

Charlotte needs a place to live and desperately needs a job. By chance, she manages to get a job interview at Gordon’s. Benton is looking for his “little “ and is immediately attracted to Charlotte. He introduces her to the world of age play and the story takes off from there.

I felt bad for Charlotte on numerous occasions. She must have had a traumatic childhood to be the way she is and be in the situation she was. It’s good that she finally has someone to take care of her. Maybe a little too much? That’s for you to decide.

Charlotte is book 7 in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series. It is a standalone story so you do not have to read the previous books before this one. This is my first experience with this series. I have to say that it is definitely not something I am used to reading about, but I do think it is a good thing that someone is writing about alternative lifestyles that don’t get a lot of notice.

As I read this book, I noticed a personal confliction about how I related to the story. There were parts of the interactions between the characters that really brought out my compassion for the experience of the character, and other parts that I noticed myself withdrawing from and not wanting to look at. For me this is the sign of a good story, it makes you examine your personal journey, the places where you judge things that you don’t understand or that seem out-of-the-ordinary for you.

What I will say is, if you are not an open-minded person, this probably isn’t the series for you. There are parts of the story that make it seem like the line between consent and abuse is murky; it is fiction after all. Still, if you want something to shake up the monotony of adulting, this might be the adventure you are looking for.

Charlotte: Dr. Richards' Littles' 7 by Pepper North. This book is about a subject that I had never heard of and had never read about. Its a short read and will catch you attention quickly. This is the story of Charlotte who is a young woman who has had a rough life. She applies for a job at Gordon's, a shop she knows nothing about. Benton Gordon is the owner and he interviews Charlotte and is taken with her right away. He explains to Charlotte that his store is different than any other store. Gordon's is a store for a very specific client, a client who lives their life in a role play relationship. Charlotte needs the job badly so she accepts the job and does an outstanding job. Charlotte sees these adults that arein a very loving relationship. Benton takes a quick liking to Charlotte and feels like Charlotte has never really known love. Growing up in Foster Care Charlotte has had a rough life so far and has never really had anyone take care of her. Benton gives her a place to live and starts to have feelings for her. He finally asks her if she will be his "Little", Charlotte accepts. She's never been so happy. This book explains how you don't have to be in a relationship like everyone else to be loved and happy. This is a super quick read and the story sucks you in. I will be reading more from this series

If you've read other books in this series, you know to expect a fairly intense Daddy Dom/Little girl or boy quickly developing relationship. In this case, Charlotte has had a difficult life and meets Benton when she applies for a job at his store. He is immediately drawn to her but she has no idea what a DD/Lg relationship is and doesn't even know about Littles. I expected things to progress slowly and they did in the beginning but they suddenly went so fast I'm surprised she didn't push back. Everything was consensual however I think some things happened so fast she didn't have time to really process them.

The books in this series involve immersive Little behavior including diapers, enemas and Daddies or Mommies that completely take care of their Littles. There is a doctor with extensive experience with Littles and he performs thorough examinations. There is also a lot of genuine affection and love leading to intimate, long-lasting relationships. In this story, Benton and Charlotte quickly grow to care for each other and develop a DD/Lg relationship. It happened a little faster than I would have liked, but it worked out well in the end.

Charlotte by Pepper North is a four star novel. It is the seventh book in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series. I have not read anything pertaining to this topic before so I was a little skeptical at first. Please beware, this series centers around age play and all that entails. If that makes you uncomfortable, please put this book down. I did enjoy this book because even though it was about age play, it also had a story line about a young girl trying to find her way after she ages out of foster care. She has a degree, thanks to a scholarship program for kids like her, but she hasn’t yet been able to find a job. Then she meets Benton Gordon who owns Gordon’s, a store who specializes in items for people who are in age play relationships. She doesn’t find it weird or disturbing at all. As he gets to know her, he realizes he feels the need to take care of her and make her his little. Because of her life growing up being so unstable, she is willing to give it a try and let him take care of her.

Interior decorator Charlotte is unfairly blacklisted and so she hopes that a new job as a cashier will help her put her life back on track. Her interview with Benton Gordon the owner of Gordon’s, a department store catering to a special clientele of age play Daddies, Mommies, and their precious Littles convinces him of one thing - she is the right one for him if only he can convince this amazing young woman to allow him to care for her as only a Daddy could. Charlotte has overcome obstacles all her life and yet still sees the best in everyone. Can they find a way to get the happily ever after that they both deserve?

I enjoyed this story of the difficult start that Charlotte experienced and the way that Benton tried his best to support her while not being patronising. I liked the way that it all started slowly but it then soon developed into something more. I did wonder if it was a bit bad due to Charlotte working for Benton but he seemed to take care to avoid that. Contains mature content with a BDSM DDLG relationship.

Charlotte
Dr. Richards
Book 7
By Pepper North
☆☆☆☆☆
Expecting the unexpected? You could find it in this novel. Not for those under 18 due to adult content. This is a complete story so it could be a standalone.

Charlotte is stronger then she thinks. After years of just trying to survive as a child, and now as an adult. She is out to find a job worthy of her education. She has done everything to get a good education. Worked, applied herself for good grades, went to college, and even lived on the streets, while doing so. When a new job comes available, she applied and got the job. Little does she know where this job will take her.

Pepper North is a new to me author. So is this genre. Having said that! I can't wait to read the rest of this series. Well written and explained clearly. Age play, playing Mommy, Daddy and Littles, just so much to discover. While this was new to me I did enjoy the story. You will too as long as you have an open mind. Nice job Pepper North!

Charlotte: Dr Richard's Littles 7 by Pepper North is not normally my reading genre but I thought I would give it ago.

The story intrigued me and I must confess it was not really what I would have chosen to read, although saying this I enjoyed the story and it was well written and enlightening but would I read anymore within this genre probably not.

There are elements in this story that I am not going to lie I had to then go onto the internet to check the lifestyle and was utterly in thralled into finding details to try and understand this lifestyle. This is my first book by this author and the characters where well developed and enthralling.

If you have an open mind and enjoy a good story then this book is for you, if you have a problem with age play then I would caution you this may not be your kind of book.

Charlotte: Dr. Richards’ Littles 7
By Pepper North
Before reading this book I had no idea this lifestyle existed. I found the synopsis to be intriguing so I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. I think the author did an excellent job telling the story of Charlotte and Benton. There are some other interesting characters in this story but this is mostly Charlotte's story and how she ends up where she is. I think this story was interesting and informative. The author drew me in from the beginning and I was hooked. This book may not be for everyone and that's ok, but for those of you who find you might want to dive in, I highly recommend this story. I do think this story is for adult readers only. I am now looking forward to reading more stories!

I went into this book with an open mind. I don't live this lifestyle but I guess its something that's always intrigued me. I will tell you I was blown away! I've never had my jaw hit the floor so many times in one book (NOT IN A BAD WAY). Albeit this book is short but it does give you an insight to the lifestyle and answered some questions that I've been wondering.

I loved Charlotte and Benton. Charlotte is such a lovable character. She is in need of a job and a place to stay which lead her to Gordon's for an interview. That's where she meets Benton and he's overcome with the urge to take care of her. I loved seeing Charlotte learn about age play and how she's becomes comfortable with it. I'm definitely intrigued by this series and Miss North packs a punch with her story writing!

Compelling read, wonderful story and charac

Charlotte had always known life was hard having been raised as an orphan, passed from foster families bone of them really caring about her well beig, health or happiness.

When she reached eighteen she had to leave the care system and manage alone, fortunately she had a place at university that had been awarded for excellent exam results and school work.

When Benton had first seen Charlotte who had come to be interviewed for the cashier position part-time, instead she made a full time employee. Theirs was a simply wonderful relationship, he is her Daddy and loves him to the "Stars and back".

You will love this read and like me will read in one sitting.

I love a good DD/lg story but this one missed the mark for me. Charlotte is homeless, having left college with a degree, struggling to get a job and having left foster care. Benson offers her a job and safe place to live. Their communication felt overly formal, which grated a bit. For someone who had achieved so much in spite of her circumstances, I felt Charlotte was made out to be completely naive/stupid, which didn't ring true. I also didn't like how Charlotte didn't really get any choice to be a lg and she never once questioned the power imbalance, which again didn't feel right.

There will be lots that will love this book, the doctor visit and intimate scenes are very hot. But it didn't work for me and it's put me off the rest of the series.

Wow this is a story for the reader with an open mind. The things that Dr. Richard does with his “little” is not something everyone would want to participate in. Age Play is a relationship between two consenting adults. Charlotte finds out that age play is more than “pretending on Halloween that you’re someone else”.

This was a great story. A quick read. And even though it is book 7 in the series, each book is a stand-alone. There are other characters that obviously have a story of their own but in this story it’s all
about Charlotte.

I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I am interested in what Pepper North has planned for these characters!

This is my first book by this author and to be honest I don’t really know what to say. I always though I had an open mind until I read this book lol. Gave me an education into a lifestyle I knew nothing about or had heard of. Thankful we have google these days as it came in handy. Is this my usual choice of read no, would I read another in this series yes! This book has had me lost for words in a big way. If you can’t open your mind please don’t read this book, if you have an open mind to alternative lifestyles, then this book is one you really need to read.

Charlotte: Dr. Richards’ Littles is the seventh book in this series by Pepper North. This is the first book I have read by Pepper North, but I look forward to reading more of the series. Age play is not one of my usual genres, but I enjoyed this book. I love how the author described the lifestyle is between consenting adults. Charlotte is down on her luck and Benton is just the right man for her. This short story had me hooked from the beginning to end.

I like DDLG books so I thought I’d try one in this series. I like how it focuses on the real feelings and connections between Charlotte and her new daddy. I like that there are other couples, I assume from previous books, but also that I could read it as a stand alone. I really felt sad for her in the beginning, she must have had a pretty rough past. The only hold up I had about the book was how much it focused on bathroom habits. As long as it’s just this particular couple and not all the other books, then I may be interested enough to read more in the series.

This was a very well written book and drew me in from the beginning. Despite the storyline, which is not my usual genre to read, i just wanted to Know what happened as I kept reading.
This is about Daddy/Mommy and their littles they take care of.
Charlotte has never had a family, and had a very rough time as an adult. We see her getting a job as a cashier. And from there the story takes off.
Id be intersted in reading more just because im curious!

Charlotte: Dr. Richard’s Littles 7 by Pepper North

This is the first book I have read regarding Age play and this novel can be read as a standalone. The author did a great job in portraying the characters throughout the novel. Charlotte was very unique and had a very rough life prior to beginning work at Gordon's. It made me sad knowing how hard she had it. I also loved her little stuffed owl Hoot.

This novel covers what many see as a sensitive topic but was quite enjoyable. It isn’t something I usually read but I recommend it and give it 5 stars.

My favorite of the series so far

This is my favorite of the series so far. I adore Charlotte and loved seeing her journey as she as both little and big Charlotte. She began to thrive under the love, care and support of Gordan. I am reading these in order but I really cannot imagine meeting another character that I will adore as much as Charlotte. Over all the series continues to get better with each book. It feels as if the author is growing as a writer along with her characters.

This is my first book by this author and I loved it from beginning to the last word. I loved how this author pulled me in from the first word. I loved Charolette's character. I loved watching her grow but I did feel some compassion for her. She has some bad luck with her life until she meets Benton. This is a short story but I couldn't put it down once I started it. I can't wait to read another book by this author. I highly recommend this book.

I've never read a book about age play, so this was new for me. As for age play, it's not for me. The character of Charlotte must have been terrible, so her being a "Little" must be like a second chance at a living childhood....kind of? There was really much of a story here, just what it's like to be a little, or how Charlotte became a Little. The book seems to be informative of this lifestyle and it's been edited well.

Charlotte's situation broke my heart. She still had a positive attitude in spite of all her horrible luck. This story about littles was touching and enlightening, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked reading about the deep level of commitment and love between the littles and their parents and the glimpse of the age gap community was unique. I look forward to more of this series. The narrator added to my enjoyment of the story.

So far I believe that this one might be my favorite so far. The pacing seemed perfect with everything, and nothing seemed to be rushed. Everything went together in perfect timing.

We got to learn a lot of details of Charlotte's story from her past and it kept us interested. I also love it when the littles can still have their adult life too.

Still wanna know where the owl came from, I don't recall hearing that story in there.
