Grace need to makes some choices
Book 3 starts out with her graduating from law school waiting to take her test to find out where she can practice law. She meets up with Carter her boyfriend of 1 year. They have some issues as she wants to stay in Mn but he is professional NHL player in Seattle. His parents are not very likable people and they don’t seem to like Grace but Grace really doesn’t like them either. After getting a place in MN she decides maybe she’ll go with him to Seattle. The problem is that she never stopped talking to Jason . Also did not tell him anything that happen the summer before with Jason or what happened in Seattle. But they move to his place and everything falls into place except her new job brings her to Vancouver where Jason is. She doesn’t tell Carter about running into Jason. While her and cArter try to manage is Carter and hers . They have to deal with his Hockey life which includes a Waze club that is sort of snobby. But so is Grace even though she knows Carter need her to get along with the group she can’t do it. She has a busy career and can only give them minimum amount of time and of course this rubs the snobby girls wrong. At her job she also has drama in form of back stabbing. Mean while she meets Jason to talk.
This story seems to be more of Grace can’t choose what she wants in life love or career. Until she figures it out and comes clean with Carter she won’t have good relationship with him. There are a few twist and she ends up coming clean to her friend Anita who makes her talk to a Carter or she will. I didn’t like Anita because she as always telling Grace not allowing Grace to choose for herself . Although with the coming clean part she was right.
Now Grace need to choose once and for all is it Carter or Jason she wants.. this book does have a HEA.
I do love Anna Albo books she writes in a way that makes you want to read to the end even when your so frustrated wi the the people. The feeling are real and feel their pain and happiness .
