Bradley Connors and James Garrett are back in London more than a year after their last time-traveling adventure. Bradley has been summoned back to work on a new campaign for his biggest international client, BritCom. While his husband is busy, James heads off to visit with the granddaughter of his old friend, Penelope, whom he’d left behind in the past. While reminiscing, James discovers that Penelope suffered through some difficult financial hardships after he’d abandoned her and the rest of his friends. With the regrets about his hasty decision to join Bradley in the future, and his seeming abandonment of Penelope, still lingering in his thoughts, James heads back towards the City. That’s when a sudden thunderstorm blows up out of nowhere and a bolt of lightning hits the brickwork arch he had ducked under to try and escape the rain. When he wakes up, it’s clear James isn’t in 2017 London anymore. Thus begins another adventure in the past, with our boys battling a polio outbreak in 1956 London in a race against time to save their friends and redeem their past.

This book chronicles a time-traveling adventure had by our pair of heroes, Bradley and James. Their original time-traveling love story can be found in Time Blitz, as can many of the characters who appear in Time Cure, but it’s not strictly necessary to have read the earlier installment before starting this one. If you haven’t read it, however, I highly recommend it-- it’s awesome, and it also provides an excellent barometer for how much Bradley has evolved. In this novel, he’s still a grump with a heart of gold, but he’s lost a lot of the toxic masculinity from his earlier adventures: now he’s a loving husband, a good friend, and a snarky, often inappropriate, all-around good human being. Which makes him a perfect match for James, who is kind, capable, noble and always up for whatever challenges come his way. In this installment, a mysterious time portal leads the couple to 1956 London, where they race to help an old friend save her pub and protect her children, and her neighborhood, from a polio epidemic. I love the premise of this series so much-- time travel is cool. Time travel nobody quite understands, but that somehow involves thunder, lightning, and a mysteriously determined location that lasts an indeterminate amount of time is especially cool. Characters who have no idea how it works, but roll with it anyway? Very cool. I also love James and Bradley, as a couple and as individuals. They literally defy the space time continuum on a regular basis, and they’re adorable together while they do it. The ending of this installment leaves open the possibility of sequels, and frankly, I hope they do have more adventures. Many, many more.

I enjoyed this unique time travel adventure/romance. This was my first read in this series and from these authors, but although this is the fourth book in the series, I did not feel lost. MCs Bradley and James are a cute and loving couple. James is sweet, brave, and adorable, while Bradley is a bit crabby and snarky, but a good person overall. I enjoyed their dynamic, the interesting time travel workings, and the detailed historical place-setting of Britain during a polio outbreak in the '50s. It was engaging to see how our MCs managed in the very different social atmosphere when being gay was not acceptable. The story definitely made me want to go read the other books.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

I certainly hope this writing team keeps doing historical settings. They do them so well and pick such interesting times. Here, we learn about London 1956 during a polio epidemic (very interesting contrasting then with what has been going on in the UK during the pandemic). Bradley and James are still having to deal with all the complications caused by time travel as well as the homophobia and continued illegality of gay sex during the time. Bradley and James make a wonderful couple just as in the first books.

Entertaining

Two of the things I enjoyed the most in the Time Adventures Series it's the vivid and detailed world-building . Also the significant amount of research authors did to be able to create such a feeling of one being there , inside ...living the story.

Times Cure is the last book of the series and it gives a satisfying series finale.

Bradley and James are once again in England on business and this time James is the discoverer of a newly formed portal.
The year is 1956 and polio is the enemy for many , especially children. Bradley and James come up with a daring plan to help save, not only the children of their friend Penny, but hundreds of her friends and neighbours.
I received this book from GRR. This is my honest review.

Time Cures follows Bradley and James's story. It continues after Time Blitz and this time they end up in London during the Polio outbreak. The book is really well researched and written and I really liked the characters, although Bradley can get a bit much at times. The book is detailed, so you can really get into the story. Overall it is a different type of gay romance with a unique spin and a good read.

This book continued James and Bradley story. The author made a wonderful job in creating two different worlds with love and duty as the fragile bridge between them. Every decision showed us their love and determination to be together. A captivating adventure and a sublime love story. I can't wait for more on this series!

I‌ ‌received‌ ‌a‌ ‌copy‌ ‌of‌ ‌Time Cures ‌by‌ ‌Tag Gregory and Lily Marie via‌ ‌IndiGo‌ ‌Marketing‌ ‌&‌ ‌Design‌ ‌in‌ ‌exchange‌ ‌for‌ ‌an‌ ‌honest‌ ‌review.‌ I’m glad I read the WWII books in the series, as they provide so much background for Time Cures. One of the things I find fun about the series is the chapter titles are song titles. I did not pick up this at first because I’m not familiar with songs from the forties but I’m glad I did. In Time Cures many of the titles are the early songs of R&R, so those I knew. Another thing I liked about Time Cures is Bradley is somewhat less of a jerk than in the WWII books. He actually comes up with an idea that saves the day. His decency is due to his love for James, who continues to be a wonderful character and someone I would have liked to know. Another aspect of the series I enjoy is all the history I learned. Every chapter there was something I had to google to understand better if only to see where the action was taking place, as I’ve never been to London and only driven through Pittsburgh. The ending makes it clear there may be another in the series and if so my vote is for the eighties when I’ll know all the songs and the history too.

This was an AWESOME follow up to Time Blitz. I was so glad to see Bradley and James get to have another adventure. I would strongly recommend reading Time Blitz first to get a real feel for James and Bradley’s progression in their relationship and to get to know all of the side characters. We learned a little more *possibly* about how the time rift occurred, but we still don’t know much at all about it. I have small theories, but none that I can figure out completely. I want more adventures from these guys. I love seeing them in the current time and also see them navigate the past. I loved this one much more than the first book, perhaps because it took me a while to get into the first book, but most likely because I loved James and Bradley by the end of the first book and was so glad to see them still together and adorable.

This was a 4.5 star read for me. I am very much hoping there will be more of these guys.

Great to see James and Bradley back in 1956 seeing their old friends and helping them with the knowledge of the future. Of course back then it was still illegal to be gay so they had to be extra careful and deal with the polio epidemic. I love their sexy times, their humour and how they loved to help their friends. I want more stories about them. Well written, pages flowed, Tag and Lily are sensitive, emotive writers.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation to do so. I definitely recommend this book.

The portal has opened in a different spot in a different era. Our heroes have a huge adventure and need to rush to get help for as many people, mostly children, as they can. More of my favorite characters from the previous book get to know about the portal and it is a lifesaver. There are some tense and emotional moments but this is a wonderful extension of the series and I highly recommend it! “I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.”

Bradley and James are back and I have to say, I appreciate how much he has changed from the first book.
I enjoyed this book more than I did in the first book in the series!

I really love this continuation of James and Bradley's story. They are back to their time-traveling ways despite wanting to stay in their present time period. It's really fun to see them meet up with old friends and continue forming relationships with new friends. I also enjoy seeing them have fun with each other.
