Liam is the twenty-eighth book in Dr. Richards’ Littles series, but reads wonderfully as a stand alone. Liam is determined to beat his war injuries, but when a movie trip goes bad, he’s shocked when Valerie saves him. Valerie notices right away that Liam is someone special and is thrilled that she’s able to soothe him when traditional methods haven’t worked. But could Liam be the Little boy that Valerie has been searching for?
Wow, I absolutely loved this book and once I started it, I did not want to put it down! I loved Liam and Valerie. I loved their dynamic, I loved how she was able to help him, I loved their connection and almost instant love. When you know, you know, so why waste time?! I think my most favorite aspect about Liam was that he was so strong and big and physically able, but preferred to follow, needed to be Little, and once he found Valerie, things just clicked for him. Valerie was caring, had a huge heart, and I loved how she instinctively knew how to respond to Liam and some of his PTSD struggles. They were a beautiful couple, full of tenderness, love, snuggles, a few discipline moments, but romantic, too! I loved reading this book and look forward to more from this series and author!
Liam was a soldier and after an explosion, hr esd medically discharged leaving him physically and mentally scarred. He now finds it harder to deal with the world around him as all that he sees are threats and danger. He read books about age play in his recovery which meant he was not new to what was to come to him later. Hairdresser Valerie has searched for her Little for years and so when she comes to the rescue of Little in distress she knows immediately that he is hers.
I enjoyed the PTSD side of things as well as the event that tied Liam to his Mommy, but I did not understand some aspects of their relationship. I don't really get why it is so comforting for him to suckle on her beasts. Easy to read and understand, this was a quick read that was quite enjoyable.
My heart overflowed! This author is the gold-standard in age-play romance. This might be the 28th book in the series, but it remains fresh with characters you will love, and a storyline that grabs your heart and bathes it in emotions to make you melt. I love the dichotomy of the strong yet damaged military man with the heart and soul of a Little, and a Mommy whose heart needs to be big enough to help him heal and bring his Little out to play. I was ready to leap into the pages and give Liam the hugs he needed and enjoyed his journey to happiness. Every Little needs a Mommy/Daddy, and Pepper North always finds the perfect match.
Every time I pick up a new age play novel by Pepper North it's always better than I thought it could be. I mean, how often can an author bat a thousand? Well, I'm not sure of the answer, but I do know she's done it again with Liam. Wounded and wonderful, Liam is a reminder that littles come in all shapes and sizes, with all kinds of backgrounds. No matter what, littles are littles, and they need love and understanding. Liam needs Valerie just as much as she needs him. Just as much as we need more Dr. Richards novels. Another great story. Read it,you will fall in love with these novels. I sure did!
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I have to say that Pepper North has done it again! This is one of the best littles story to date, Liam a soldier who had been suffering from a debilitating injury and PTSD's has been trying to find a way to live in the aftermath of his military service. He meets Valerie, a woman who knows just what he needs for him to suceed and together they learn to live life again, his Mommie and her little boy. This was a well written fast read story that was impossible to put down, it was so good!
Oh My Gosh! This is my new favorite story. I absolutely loved this book. The character of Liam is one you just want to wrap up in your arms and hug all day long. He is so well developed and well written, you can feel his anxiety/fear. Valerie is a warrior in her own right and really gets Liam. This is a story that will make you smile and even laugh out loud. I enjoyed how the Littles just accepted him and took this big guy under their protective little wings and arms. Can’t wait for the next story.
Fell in love with Liam , such special little man. Has been through alot , being hurt in the military. Working to get through his triggers . While at the theater he has a melt down , specially when lights go out. Love that Valerie was there to help him through that giving him her scarf to focus on. Gave him strength. Wonderful start to special relationship. Love his stuffie Ninja.
I have received copy of Liam for my honest review. Enjoy it so much I one clicked . Another amazing Dr. Richard's story.
I truly loved the dynamics of this story. When the big strong man is the little it always brings something a little more special to the story. Then on top of that we have a soldier growing thru personal things and needs extra help that a mommy can provide.
This story will tug at your heartstrings and you will fall in love with the characters. You will find yourself wanting to climb thru the pages and just hug Liam yourself at many times. You will even discover a few tears falling.
Valerie finds Liam just when he needs her most. I love how she supports him where he is and tries to figure out what he needs best. She doesn't try to change him or to belittle his fears. She does encourage him to push forward but it seems in a reasonable way because it is things that have already been suggested by his support group. I love the way the care for each other.
I listened to the audio version and really enjoyed the bonus story at the
This was such a sweet book to read. The understanding the author has of someone with PTSD, and the delicate way she handled the story is amazing. I have read all the little books and always felt Zoey was my favorite now I think Liam is ranked right up there with Zoey.
Liam is a soldier injured from war. PTSD is something he suffers from. He is at a movie theater trying to watch a movie, but his senses are flooded btw the previews when a woman come to him and helps him regain control. Valerie is a Mommy who knew a Little boy needed her. Awesome story, loved their interactions, the love and acceptance displayed.
Another great Little story. The way Liam met Valerie was unique. I think the way the daddies and mommies know when they find a Little is amazing. Pepper has done an excellent job in writing these stories. Dr. Richards interactions with Liam was very delicate and caring because of all his injuries. Enjoy.
I know I’ve read this before... but apparently forgot enough that it was fun reading it again. I don’t think we acknowledge veterans and how much they struggle with just trying to live life. This story was sensitive to the pain both physical and emotional this character was in.
I loved this book and the relationship that formed between Liam and Valerie who was able to not only love him but also help care for him and the injuries he carried from device and the result pain.
Th I is truly a match made in Heaven, once you start read in its impossible to put down until it finishd.
Loved how Valerie and Liam came together. You're Littles books are amazing. Especially when the other characters from the other Littles books are involved. The love and caring of everyone to help with PTSD. So Great.
This one hit close to home in a lot of ways. I felt the pain that Liam was dealing with and I cant imagine what all he had been through. It was beautiful to see him find his Mommy and the love that she gave him.
Liam decided to take a big step and go to the movies; everything was fine until the previews started they were loud and they triggered a meltdown. This is when Valerie came to Liams aid; & knew Liam was her perfect oh
Another great book written. It shows compassion and love to a Little boy who is wounded. No other Little cares what he or she has as flaws. Wish society was like this now.
Valeria helps Liam when he has a PTSD attack at the movie theater, she sees something in him that she's been looking for, now all that needs to happen is a talk.
Liam and Valerie! Omg the cutest and probably my all time favorite in this series! The way she took care of him and helped him grow!!!! Valerie was the best Mommy to liam it was just so good!
It's truly amazing how you can come up with these amazing stories. I enjoyed reading this book. It showed just how precious love is. People don't understand what it's like to love with PTSD. Thank you for bringing it to the light .
