To the rest of the world Jax Fischer is a heroic veteran who deserves more than the medals and commendations he doesn’t like to talk about. To Dakota Hylander, heiress to the country’s biggest cattle fortune, he’s the coward who abandoned his responsibility.

At least that’s who he was over a decade ago.

Now he’s older, hotter, and someone Dakota doesn’t recognize. So when he walked into Club Solitaire for the grand opening looking like molten sin poured into a pair of tight jeans, she knew she had to have him. That’s how she wound up in his bed without knowing his name.

Their night of passion turns to an explosive fight that sends her running when she discovers his identity. They agree to avoid each other and never speak of their night together for the good of Club Solitaire.

After nearly three years of avoidance, an imminent threat has the soldier turned private investigator digging into Dakota’s life, and they can no longer avoid each other or the past.

Their chemistry is undeniable and there’s more to Jax’s story than meets the eye. Dakota just has to decide if she wants to hear it.

This is the seventh of nine books about the über-wealthy mover and shaker denizens of BDSM Club Solitaire. Because so many characters from past books appear and the over-arching mystery is given a lot of narrative space, this isn't a standalone.

We know that there's tension between Dakota and Jax, but here we find out why. We also learn that despite their clearly difficult past history, they're very attracted to each other. Thrown together when Jax is assigned to protect Dakota from the on-going threat to Solitaire members, will they be able to bury the past to find their future?

I really like Dakota, who has a lot more intelligence, spirit, and personality than some of the other h's. I also like Jax (he certainly has a lot of patience with her), though I don't feel that we got to know him as well as we did her. I felt that their brand of D/s was more play than anything else -- which is fine since I'm not one for high protocol or domestic discipline.

The story includes Ms. Nelson's usual corporate intrigue, complex backstories, and intricate character relationships. Somewhere, she must have a whiteboard to keep them all straight.

If you like the series, second-chance romances, and enemies-to-lovers, you'll probably enjoy this. In terms of prose, I appreciated the natural-sounding dialogue, but did notice a lot of typos; while none were glaring, they did have a cumulative effect. Note: I appreciate Ms. Nelson's use of pronouns.

4 stars. The ending is a segue to the next book.

This is the 7th book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. Jax may be a hero to others but not to Dakota. When they meet again, she doesn’t recognize who he is and they share a steamy night together. What will happen when she discovers the truth about him and why he left. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and emotion. Hot and steamy. I liked it.

Dakota is a member of the Solitaire BDSM club and they are having a party. She is at the front desk when the owner David comes in with another man. The man is introduced as Jay. Dakota is playing a house sub for the night and she and Jay get together after her duties as a board member has been taking care of. They have a good time and she wants to see him again. She goes back to the front desk and Garrett, another board member comes in and asks her "Can you tell me if Jackson Fischer has checked in yet?" Dakota feels she has been punched. It has been nearly fifteen years since she last saw him. "What did you just say?" Jackson Fischer? Has he checked in yet? I need to ask him a question about a job he is doing for the club. She gets upset since she is a board member and she didn't know about the job. She goes looking for Jay and when she finds him, she tells him to get out. Things do not go the way she wants. She is told that Jax is there to look into what is going on with the problems with the members of the club and with who wants to get to her. She is not happy to have to work with Jax. Whenever she is around him, she gives him short or chilly answers. She is an heiress and one of the board members of the Triple Q cattle ranch which is owned by her father and she is trying to get into a file about her sister, Devin's death but it is only allowed to be viewed by her father. She calls her friend Marissa for help. When Dakota gets the information back and reads it, she is shocked to find that Jax didn't have anything to do with Devin's death. It was her father who sent her off that night. Now Dakota goes to find Jax and wants to know if it was true. When he tells her yes, she feels guilty for the way she has hated him all this time. Things change between them at that time. Jax asks "Are you mine?" she tells him that she is. Jax is holding Dakota in bed when he gets a message from her father wanting to meet. He knows it is not good news. When they meet, Dakota's father tells him to leave her alone and leave the state or Dakota will pay the price. Jax drives around all day trying to figure out what to do and when he tells Dakota about her father, she tells him he doesn't have to stay. Things start to happen to Dakota and she knows her father is behind them. He is trying to get her kicked off the board of the Triple Q. With everything that is going on, Matthew a friend of hers called and said that he was sending a package to her at the club and would be there on Friday night. Dakota and a few of the other wives of board members are meeting at Solitaire on Thursday night and there is a knock on the door. Thinking it might be her friends, she answers the door. There is a woman there and she asked if she could help her?
The woman said that she was sent there by Matthew. Dakota asked who she was and how she knew Matthew? The woman said her name was Gemma and she was Matthew's wife. This floors Dakota since she didn't know he was married. When The wives show up, they are just as shocked. Gemma tells them a little of her story and said that she will tell the rest when everyone else gets there the next day. The more everyone looks for answers, the more questions turn up. Things with Dakota and her father heat up and she goes after him after he sends her ex-driver to burn her house down. Samuel, one of the board members has gone to London to look for Matthew after he is told about the package coming in. Samual has been gone for a while when he lets them know that Matthew was dead. He tells them it looks like a car accident. The members of Solitaire decide to have a memorial for him at the club and as Gemma tells stories about Matthew, she gets the feeling of them being friends since Gemma said that they couldn't stand each other, and nothing of the romantic love between them. After the memorial is over, Dakota goes to the bar and asked Mitch for a double shot of whiskey. Jax is there and tells her just one. She takes a drink and then pushed it toward Jax so he could finish it. Her phone rings and she pulls it out of her pocket so she could answer it. "Don't take too long," Jax said as she stepped away looking at the unknown number. "Hello." "Dakota. Darling. I need a bit of a favor.” The voice slammed into her and she reached for the bar to keep from falling. “I was just at your memorial,” she whispered, afraid her mind was playing tricks on her. “I’m so sorry about that. How would you like to help raise me from the dead?”
Will Dakota and Jax find out what her father is up to?
Can Jax keep Dakota safe?

Salacious Sexy Story with a protective MC

I picked this book up during a stuff your Kindle event. I was drawn to the protective MMC , guarding the FMC from danger. I am the first to admit bdsm and voyeuristic sex novels are not typically in my wheelhouse of book favorites. This book features a daughter of a millionaire bdsn club as well as the man from her past who is hired as security at the club. Its book 7 out of 9 in a series. I went in with a open mind.

When Jax and Dakota were 18, Jason was blamed by Dakotas father of influencing his other daughter to drink and drive. She died in a car accident. Dakota hates Jax and doesn't realize 10 years later that he's come into her sex club as an Alpha dom to her sub. They have a hot night together until she discovers his identity.

Three years later, Jax is working security to investigate into a threat of Dakota and the club. Dakota reluctantly works side by side with Jax. Jax is determined to pssess Dakota and wear down her defenses.

Will Jax and Dakota steam up the club once again? I recommend 📚 reading to find out.

I deducted a star because I didn't feel a deep connection emotionally between the main characters. Physically definitely but not emotionally and I wanted to read both with their connection.

A heroic veteran and the billionairess cattle ranch owner find common ground.

Jax, the vet, is hired by David to investigate the threats that most of the board members of Solitaire are getting or have received.  There is so much unknown about who the culprit is and why their doing this.
He also had a relationship when he was eighteen with Dakota and friends with her sister.  Except she died and he was blamed by Dakota's father.  He made untrue claims with some threats and Jax left Texas and joined the military.  Finally retired with his own established business he's working for David and keeping Dakota safe.  It's her turn for someone trying to get into her private business and possibly bring harm.
Dakota isn't a weak female.  She's very strong and sure of herself and doesn't take anything from her father.  Jax can't help the way he feels for Dakota but she hates him because she blames him for her sister's death not knowing what her father did.
Though a submissive in the club, she has her own style that lands her into trouble with the Doms but is much loved by all of them and the wives.  Jax finds his hands full trying to get information he needs for his investigation and trying to keep her safe.  After the Doms speak with her, they manage to convince her to speak with Jax when needed.  But she'll be her bratty self which is hilarious. Between Jax and Dakota things are steamy and kinky.  So much intrigue, mystery, danger, mistrust, lies, kinkiness, love of family and so much unknown.  All the characters are great, you feel the familial love they all share and the love for each other.  Still so many unknowns and there is Matthew coming in to play.
Matthew has been missing for quite some time since he went to London since his father's death.  The Solitaire board members haven't heard too much from him.  But he does make contact with Dakota, since their relationship is like brother and sister, and tells her he's sending a package and to keep it safe.  When the package arrives everyone is surprised.  But again no one can get in touch with him so Samuel decided to head to London to search for him.  They believe he is in danger.  At the end everyone is shocked with the news that he brings.
This is a fantastic book of Jax and Dakota but also everything else that is going on as well.  The book ends in a cliffhanger and there are only two more books on the Diamond Doms.  I could live on just ready this series of Ivy Nelson.  Wow, what a great writer.  She writes to capture the reader and keep them enthralled make the book a can't put down page turner.  I loved this book.  There should be more guys like Jax around.  This book is definitely one to buy, you won't be disappointed.

I received an ARC of this book, also purchased book and am volunteering to leave an honest review.

The story continues and Club Solitaires board members are under attack. Jax is hired to find the culprit, but as we find out, Dakota and Jax have the makings of a Texas thunderstorm. Dakota, the ever bratty submissive is not the same in the real world, outside of the club and the bedroom, she’s exactly what Jax calls her, a little Hurricane...more like a Category 5. This particular story starts out 3 years in the past when the club initially opens. Dakota gets to play with a mysterious, handsome, honest to goodness Cowboy, but her high comes down when she finds out it’s Jackson Fischer, the guy she loved years ago, and the one supposedly responsible for the death of her sister. Now in the present, they are forced to work together to find out who is after Dakota and other members of the club. Forced proximity brings deep feelings to the surface and truth to the light. Will Dakota’s father get his way as usual or will Jax and Dakota get to have their D/s cake, love, and the culprit behind the madness surrounding the board to their HEA? Dakota and Jax were explosive, but she was bratty and he knew exactly how to handle her. She was a brat to Jackson purposely to get his “punishment” though he wasn’t heavy-handed as a Dom. I believe because he’d always carried a torch for her, he could never truly dominate her. I love that Ivy focused on the matters at hand, the actual story without making the Dom/sub aspect important. While Dakota and Jackson were a part of the lifestyle, he felt he could be as vanilla or as kinky as he wanted to be with her.

Well Miss Ivy, I do declare you've done it again; with knickers in her mouth!!!!!

Just the thought of that belt buckle, a Stetson and a scrunched up thong and you should get the picture about where this book is going! We have all been waiting on our favourite Brat Dakota and the only Cowboy worth a mention in this here Cow Town, Jax, and it would seem that Jax has always been a dab hand at 'hog tying' and making the ladies happy from what we find in the pages of Rough.

Yes we had to wait, for good reason, but it was so worth it. With her usual flair and passion, Ivy Nelson has again produced the new best in series book for the Diamond Doms and the Club Solitaire. With another amazing story tying into the previous books, I just can't see where we can go; who's the biggest baddie of them all and how will it end. I'm so glad we still have another couple of books to go before that happens.

Intrigue, deception and double crossing were the order of the day for Rough as well as a brand new character we'd never even heard of so who will be found in the next instalment, I just can't wait to find out!

I loved this book, as I knew I would; thank god it's not the last one as I don't know what I'll do when the series comes to an end! I'm totally recommending this series to you, start from the beginning and don't stop until you finish Rough, or any later book if they are out xx

Seriously Terrific BDSM club book

This has great characters all set in a really good BDSM story that revolves around a BDSM Club set the in Colorado, there is hidden enemy who is trying to get the characters that are board members of club and it is not yet clear why or who it is

The diamond mystery continues in Rough. We also FINALLY learned what the issue is between Dakota and Jax. It’s wonderful to see it come out in the open and for them to work through it. It has been obvious through the previous books that whatever it was, it was going to be something bad. Finding out that Dakota blamed Jax for the death of her sister was a big reveal. I can’t remember reading a lot about her father in previous books, but it seems like many of the parents in this series have just had an inherently evil streak. It’s a shame too.

Grant Sterling seems to be the ghost that continues to haunt this group. While he didn’t show up in person, he definitely seems to be one of the puppeteers pulling the strings of evil. It will be interesting to see what will happen when he finally gets trapped in his own web.

Jax was a steadfast hero for Dakota throughout the entire book, regardless of her attitude towards him. He made sure she was taken care of at every turn, whether he could do so or she required someone else when she was still so mad that she wouldn’t allow him in her sight. He always took care of her. Their happily ever after was hard fought and well deserved.

DNF @ 13%.

The thing is that I just didn't connect with this story.
You see, I signed up for this ARC out of sheer curiosity, not expecting anything. I didn't know this wasn't a standalone. Well, actually it is, but the story is so connected to the other books, you're thrown as a reader in the action. The first chapter is 3 years from today, it's happening in the BDSM club with people I didn't know. I had no idea what was their connection between each other, I actually had to pull that out of the context. Apparently, our heroine is a house sub and she let anyone do what they wanted with her (there are 8 or so doms) and that was my first red flag. The second is how fast he met our hero, had a little action, and went upstairs to sleep with him only to realize two pages later that he is someone she knows and had a history with. How she didn't recognize him after 10 years is still beyond me.
Long story short, we're put into the present, I still don't know what and where the story is happening, there are not enough details, background, and that's why I cannot continue with this story.

ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is Book 7 in the Diamond Dom series and is Jax Fischer and Dakota Hylander’s story. Dakota has for 18 years blamed Jax for the death of her sister and hasn’t seen him since then. When he turned up at the grand opening of BDSM Club Solitaire, she failed to recognize him and ended up in his bed. On finding out his name the next day they had an explosive fight and agreed for the good of the club that they would avoid each other, which they did for nearly 3 years. Jax is a private investigator and has been hired to find out who is trying to bring down the board at Club Solitaire. As a board member Dakota is in possible danger and although not happy about it, needs to cooperate with Jax looking into her life. This book ends in a cliffhanger and I am anxiously awaiting Matthew's story 'Flawless', Book 8 in the series. Ivy Nelson never disappoints, once again she has written a steamy and intriguing novel.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review *spoilers alert*.  Story is a standalone in the series but I think it would be helpful to read the earlier books so it's easier to follow. I was a little lost at the start as it felt like I was missing a huge chuck of the backstory. There are also references to the past and the mentioned timeline was a bit confusing to follow (suggest to ignore the mentioned timeline and just know that something happened 18 years ago between Jax and Dakota (they knew each other then) and met again 3 years ago with disastrous results). When they finally manage to work out their issues, there was a definite connection and steam. General story flow with intrigue/ suspense and sexy steam was there and characters were well developed but I still felt I was missing the back story and the typos and missing words does make reading a bit jerky (which is why I took off half star).
Note that Jax and Dakota finds their HFN but the story hasn't concluded so there is a cliffhanger and you need to keep reading the next story in the series to find out what happens. But overall the story held my attention from start to end and I can't wait for the next book.

I love the 'Diamond Doms' series by Ivy Nelson. This book was no different. Dakota and Jax had a past from their home town with a lot of painful memories. Dakota hated him for things that happened to her sister in the past but she found out not everything happened how she was led to believe by her own father. Jackson had a crush on Dakota for a long time and the one night that they spent together when didn't realize who he really was sealed the deal for him. He would spend all his time trying to protect her whether she liked him or not. This book was mysterious and also very steamy. I did get a little sad during reading because of Matthew's death. There is a surprise at the end and it leads straight to the next story and I can't wait! This book drew me in because I love an enemies to lovers story and this book was exactly that. Such a good read for readers of steamy, kinky, reads. I received a review copy of this book from the author and am leaving my voluntary honest review.

One of the better ones - read on KU

I have waited way too long to review two or three of these books. However, there are some commonalities to all of the books. I do like Dakota and Jackson. They have great chemistry. I enjoyed watching their history get told to her in the correct way.

It's hard to find a good series centered around a sex club. I was looking for something like Linzi Bassett's Alpha Cove series but with much, much better grammar. In the steam department, these books are completely disappointing. All of these people are part owners, or at least directors, at a sex club and they are at the club at least once during each book but very few sex scenes happen there in the common area. They use very little, and usually none, of the equipment. They usually end up in the private bedrooms that each director owns and the scenes are almost all vanilla, or close to it. If you are reading this for non vanilla steam, you will not be happy. Despite the good chemistry, their sex scenes still aren't all that hot.

The mysteries are a little interesting. Although, they seem to be too stupid to recognize, at least for a while, that if a bad guy has come for a few of them, he's probably coming for all of them. And it is also stupid that these stories run in series instead of parallel. It's as if the bad guy picks who is next to harass instead of attacking several at one time, or at least having the stories mixed together better.

Now, I want to know what the underlying motive was and I am hooked but I wouldn't have been disappointed to never had read these.

To the wider world, Jax Fischer is a heroic military veteran who deserves medals and commendations that he doesn't like being talked about. To cattle heiress Dakota Hylander he is a coward who abandoned his responsibilities over a decade ago. Now he is older, hotter and unrecognisable to Dakota when he is at Club Solitaire at the grand opening, and so she ended up in his bed without knowing his name. When she discovers his identity they have an explosive fight and they agree to avoid each other and never speak of their night together again. Then after three more years, he has to work as a private investigator digging into her life and they can no longer avoid each other or the past. With amazing chemistry there is much more to his story that meets the eye, she just needs to decide if she wants to hear it.

I loved this seventh book in the series. It was great to hear more background about them both and realise that there was a lot of misinformation behind their history but it would take them both being open, prepared to listen and working together to get to the bottom of what happened in the past let alone what is happening in the present. I really enjoyed some of the intrigue and drama behind some of the events and it was great to see that progress was made no matter how small it might have seemed. I loved the power dynamic between Jax and Dakota both in and out of play. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content of a BDSM nature.

Mystery n Truth

This story is one that you have been wanting from the first in the series as the Sassy Submissive with an apparent adversary in an investigative Dom... I was a little disappointed in the way they supposedly resolved this story because Dakota's story doesn't seem over but apparently it is related to the next story in the series... I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out. This story doesn't have quite as much car chasing, gun fighting, or kidnapping as many of the other stories in this series, which does make it seem a bit tame in that respect... the investigation mostly seems to be on the phone and a few meetings but again no real gun play... the only attack really is dealt with by a groin kick... she saves herself. It kinda felt unsatisfied that Jax doesn't get to actually do any real saving of his Submissive... especially as Jax has been called on to assist in saving several other Dom's ladies through the series. But I don't feel like their story is complete really... even though they appear to be together as a couple finally.

I really enjoyed this book. This is a new author for me. It was a good story. I loved the characters - both the main ones and the secondary ones that, if I understand correctly, had previous books of their own. The over-arching story line was lost to me. I am assuming that it began in an earlier book. It did detract from this book, but I was still able to enjoy it a lot. I will definitely go back and start the series from the beginning so I know what is going on exactly. Having said that I enjoyed it enough so that while there was a HEA between the two main characters, there is a hook, that leaves you waiting for the next book. And if I am unable to read the earlier books before the next book comes out, I will definitely buy it. Very well written and I enjoyed it a lot. But unlike me, you may want to read the previous books in this series first.

This series of the A Diamond Doms and the Club Solitaire is just one that I have really enjoyed. There is so much depth to this story along with the rest. You actually can visualize what this place looks like. These books are not stand alone. You definitely need to read the previous to know who is who and what roll they actually play in these. This is one where they two were a couple years ago as teens but something tragic happened and he was blamed. Now years later he is back and there to protect her. There is so much drama, action, sexy steamy times, love, heartache plus more rollercoaster emotions. With everything that is going on with the Club and everyone's lives it is amazing how it is all put together in this book along with the others. Grab them and check them out then run right here to this one to get more juicy story

This is the first book by Ivy Nelson that I have read and I really enjoyed it. I didn't realize that this was a part of a series and it can be read as a standalone. However, there is an arcing plot that comes out of previous books that it would have been helpful to understand. Jax and Dakota have a shared history from their youth that had tragic consequences and Dakota can't forgive Jax. Dakota becomes a target for someone going after the club and Jax is brought in as protection and to find who is responsible. Due to their forced proximity they give in to the passion between them and things get HOT. Theirs is a D/s relationship, although Dakota is a brat, Jax is a caring Dom that doesn't let her get away with it. Lots of steam, plenty of snark and a twisty plot keeps this book moving and it ends in a major cliffhanger. I will be reading the next one in series.

I have loved reading, Rough: A Diamond Doms Novel (Kindle Edition) by Ivy Nelson because it was a very steamy and very suspenseful story about Jax and Dakota. I love the series and I loved reading this story. Dakota is so snarky and can't keep her mouth shut. She is always in trouble with her daddy and with Jax. Jax and Dakota had some history in the past that really messed her up. But as she comes face to face with her past, feelings and truths come out. Jax is a war hero and now a private investigator. This story had a lot of drama and suspense. It always kept me guessing as to what was going to come next. I was sent a free book and am choosing to leave this review. I would highly recommend reading this story and this series. Fantastic and will keep you guessing as to what will happen next.

Just when I think the Diamond Doms series can't possibly get any better, the awesome Ivy Nelson proves me wrong.

Chapter 1 has got to be one of the steamiest openings I've read in any book and the pace and kink just rolls on from there. Jax and Dakota's story is beset with difficulties, their past connections, the lies others have told but will they manage to get past all of that to become what they should be to each other. And will Jax be able to deal with Dakota's sassy, bratty side? As always this isn't just a story about kink, the back story of who's going after the Solitaire family and why is enthralling as well.

This novel certainly ticks all of my boxes, fast paced, deeply erotic and a serious twist in the tale.

I received this as an ARC from the author, for whom I'm posting an honest review

Rough is a continuation of the Diamond Doms Series and is Dakota’s story. We get a glimpse at Dakota’s past and see inside her head and heart. While reading we get to understand the reasons she is both Sassy, sweet, strong and vulnerable. I really loved the way Dakota’s story unfolded. The reason why she hated Jax throughout the stories that came before hers and she is fiercely loyal to those that love and respect her in return. Once she realizes that what she has believed about Jax for the last eighteen years about Jax was a lie, her heart opens up and allows herself to both LOVE Jax and be LOVED by him. I love the way the mystery of who/what is happening to the board members of Club Solitaire continues to unfold and can’t c wait to read Ivy’s next book in the series “Flawless” later this summer to find out what happens next.

This is the story of Dakota - the only submissive on the board of Club Solitaire - and Jax, the investigator brought in to help solve the mystery behind the trouble each one of the board members faces. The intrigue and suspense will keep you glued to your Kindle. I, at least, couldn't put it down! The love story between them almost seemed to take a backseat sometimes. However, as in the other books, the love scenes are HOT, although not heavy on BDSM. I even have to admit to a slight disappointment: Although both Dakota and Jax are from Texas and she admits to discovering her kink by being hogtied as a teenager, there are no ropes and whips in play between them ... OK, that would have been a bit chliched, I admit. Good thing the next book is scheduled for release in July, so not a long wait at all!

Ivy Nelson has done it again. She has hit a home run with Rough, Jax and Dakota's story. While it is their story it is so much more it is a story of intrigue. Not common in a story with a BDSM kink club so prominent in it I would imagine unless it was one of Ivy Nelson's books. Dakota has hated Jax for eighteen years and blamed him for the death of her sister. Jax has been in love with her since she was sixteen (eighteen years). Dakota can no longer stay away from Jax because he has been hired to check out some possible dangers for board members and she has to cooperate since she is in danger. I loved this book. There is sex, kink and intrigue. It has an ending we don't see coming.

I received this book as an Advance Review Copy in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.

Characters: Skye & Braden Black

I did not know what I was in for when I started this book. This story had such sweet moments as well as some extremely hot & steamy scenes with such strong characters that I couldn’t put this book down. And I’m patiently impatiently waiting for the next book in this series!! Both Skye and Braden have strong control issues; but will they give up a bit of control for the other and their potential relationship? I can’t wait to find out!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Club Solitaire returns in this explosive book and this time we meet Dax - a war veteran and Dakota a member of The Club. They have history - to her, he's a dick of the highest level and to him she's - well, she isn't going to tag him. Years later he returns and they end up in bed exploring passion like they've never experienced - only they don't recongnize each other. When they do they spend another three years apart until fate steps in and Dax has to come to Dakota's rescue. Can these two get over their fractured past or are they going to destroy each other with bad memories.
Ivy Nelson always produces top-notch stories and the The Club Solitaire series are awesome.

So excited to read Dakota and Jax's story!! Dakota is wealthy and sassy cowgirl from Texas who runs her own ranch and is stubborn as a bull. Jax, ex military and now a PI cowboy, her childhood friend and now enemy.
So much hate until the truth is revealed about what really happened that dreadful night.
Jax is still trying to unravel the mystery as to why the board members of Solitaire lives are in danger.
Dakota is learning more and more just how demanding and corrupt her father can be.
Not sure if Grant is seeking revenge or truly out to get the board members of Solitaire.
I suggest reading from the beginning. A suspenseful, mystery read that continues from book to book.
Can't wait for next installment!! Matthew, Kendall and Gemma's story!!

So close of finding all the answers......
But untill the last story - Matthew’s story - here we have Dakota and Jax’s story.

2 old friends turned (kind of) enemies - becouse Dakota hate his guts.
And now, after all these years, they meet again, and Dakota don’t know who he is, don’t recognize him. And seems to be a lot of atraction between them. Untill Dakota find his name..... and disaster strike!

A lot of turns and twists, some danger, a lot of emotions (both good and bad), some (partially) answers, a lot of new questions......
This is what Rough bring. And all will be answer in Flawless.....
Can’t wait for that!

I received an ARC copy and I leave my voluntary honest review.
