Duct Tape: Dream designer material or simple adhesive used for binding purposes? Thanks to Stick It!, duct tape will become a valuable commodity in your house now that it can be coaxed into wacked-out wallets, wild wearables, punked-out paper goods, and funky jewelry that will bedazzle any outfit fit for all occasions! This invaluable guide—complete with folders and step-by-step directions—will lead you through 99 different craft projects so you’ll become your own ‘DT’ aficionado. Each project is leveled from: “Dude, my five-year-old sister could do that” to “Don’t even think about operating heavy machinery.” Told in an accessible “teen-speak” language hip tapesters will love, and reminiscent of Stitch ‘N Bitch and The Big Bad-Ass Book of Crafts, this book is appropriate for the new generation of cool and funky hand made craftsters. Read, unroll, and express your rockin’ self through creativity and, of course, duct tape!
I am already 20, I look at these projects and think "my mom would have thrown these away on SIGHT," but the magic is still here for children. :) Good DIY projects, although there is room for improvement.
How did this get published? It's a very nice looking hard-covered, spiral bound book with chapter-separating tabs even, but the projects within are so poorly crafted that I couldn't bear to be disappointed by poor writing, so I just flipped through it very quickly without reading. By the time I mercifully got to the end, I was annoyed. Such a waste of resources! I've read a couple books on duct tape craft and this is, by far, the worst. So, don't judge a book by its cover.
This book was not worth the few days i waited for from the library. Most of these would be a waste of duct tape. Will admit that piano purse was actually kinda cute if executed better
This book is a smattering of every thing you could imagine to make with duct tape.
Bookmark? It’s here. Wallets (plural) they are here too. And so are earrings, necklaces and flip-flops. This book is fun and far fetched in its scope, and I’m eager to try my hand at these crafts!
This book is 263 pages long. It is really interesting because it contains many different things to do with duct tape such as necklaces, cups, pencil holders etc. For each item, it explains the procedure in detail. My favorite item to make out of duct tape would have to be the flip flops. I didn't ever think of making flip flops out of duct tape. It's not hard to do, you just need to work and follow the instructions and you'll be fine. All the ideas are really creative and stylish. This book is well written and what I like about it is that they show you in pictures the exact steps and how it will look like in the end when you're done. If you don't like one idea of theirs, you have tons more to chose from! Also in the beginning of the book it gives you pages of what tips you can do and which techniques are good for these 99 ways of duct tapes items. It's a great read, it kept me entertained and moving. The book is also really colorful filled with a lot of items and pictures to prevent you from being bored. I really liked this book. I would recommend this to someone who likes to be creative and stylish in life. Anyone from age 10 I think would be good to read it. You won't regret it!
So…you’re sitting around bored and wondering what you can do. All you have is a couple of rolls of duct tape.
This book offers 99 cool things you can make out of the magical adhesive. Many items are just a variation on a theme but there are plenty of projects to help knock out a slow afternoon.
Instructions include bracelets, flip-flops, wallets, purses, pillows, etc. etc.
I personally loved this book. I really wanted it ever since I saw it and then bought it. I haven't made many things from this book yet, but I really like it and I love the ideas she comes up with and shares in the book. My favorite are the duct tape flip flops. Sooo kool
Liked this one. It had a ton more ideas then what I've already picked up from other books. If you're looking to learn something more than a rose or a wallet then this book might be one to learn from. Give it a read!
An excellent, teen-oriented book on how to make all sorts of cool things--ranging from wallets to neckties--from duct tape. Step-by-step instructions are included.
The "teen-speak" in this book will become uncool soon--perhaps it already is--but otherwise this is an excellent title.
I bought this for the library early last spring and haven't even been able to put in the library because I have wanted to make everything in it before I put it out. Now that I have two copies I can put that one in circulation. A YES vote for me.

I didn't find any of the projects to be particularly exciting. A truly creative person could have come up with most of the variations of the same project themselves, but if you're looking for something to page through, it might be worth the library check-out.
I've made duct tape wallets in the past, so when I saw this book at the library I thought, "Hey, why not?". There are some cool projects, but some of them are a bit out there. I especially think that most of the jewelry looks like it would be very uncomfortable to wear, but maybe that's just me.
