An unwanted Omega yearning for freedom. An Alpha who made an unbreakable promise. When their paths collide, sparks ignite.
Jax Nolan feels like an outsider in his own pack. Without a mate or kids to tie him down, Jax leaves home to fulfill a promise to a dying friend. His journey takes him to Silver Bullet Springs, to a poisonous pack and to a sweet Omega whose soul resonates with his. Jax’s finally found his true mate, but another dangerous player wants to claim Gavin for himself. Backed into a corner and surrounded by enemies—can Jax and Gavin make it out alive?
Gavin Moon’s led a sheltered life. Protected by his grandfather and hated by his pack mates, Gavin doesn’t know where he belongs. When his grandfather reveals he’s dying, Gavin’s shattered. It doesn’t help that the new lead Alpha of his pack has set his sights on Gavin. Then Jax appears. A dark horse. A fearsome protector. Jax’s everything Gavin’s ever wished for in a mate. Too bad Gavin isn’t sure if Jax will stick around once his debt to Gavin’s grandfather is paid.
A lost Omega finds his Alpha in Jumping Jax, a full-length mm mpreg shifter romance. It is book four in the Shattered Pack series. There are no cliffhangers or cheating, and a HEA is guaranteed.
Omega Gavin is at the funeral of his Alpha father when the new Alpha wannabe makes a move on him hinting that Gavin will be his. Only Gavin's Grandfather protected him throughout his life. To his father's point of view Gavin was just a disappointment and the pack didn't care about him at all. With his Grandfather falling ill he no longer has anyone to keep Charles from mating him against his will. Until Jax shows up to save him.
Alpha Jax is only here to fulfill a favor to Gavin's grandfather, Richard. He owes him that much. But he has no intention of sticking around after Richard passes of his illness. But then Jax starts realizing he feels more for the Omega than he originally anticipated.
Jax and Gavin are great together, but I wish I felt more depth of emotion in their relationship. They only seemed to bond on a surface level. Nonetheless I very much enjoyed this book.
Jax’s knew he wouldn’t stop protecting his cute Omega Gavin's grandfather had protected Gavin from the pack. His father never really cared and as he stands at his fathers funeral he felt nothing really. That was until Charles came over letting him know that now that he was the Alpha of the pack Gavin was his. Gavin felt sick every time that Charles was near him he made his skin crawl and he knew he would do anything to get away from him. Thankfully a man/shifter that Gavin had never seen before came in and informed Charles to stand away and that he was now Gavin's bodyguard. Gavin didn’t understand why but he trusted this man straightaway he knew he was a safe with him. It became clear that Gavin‘s grandfather Richard had sent him but why? Jax’s owed Richard a favour, a big favour and he was now here to protect his grandson from the new Alpha. Richard had been hiding how ill he was from his grandson and he knew that Gavin didn’t know everything about the pack. Now that Richard couldn’t protect him he knew that Charles would never stop until he got Gavin. Could Jax’s protect this cute little Omega?? This was it a fun read. Actually there is so much action it’s quite fast paced. But what I really enjoyed was a slow burn that happened between Jax’s and Gavin. I like that they became friends first and talk about everything. It was great to see the rest of Jax's pack there to offer their support to protect Gavin from Charles that never gave up. But the connection that Jax’s and Gavin had was deep, the trust that they both felt for each other it’s just outstanding and they would do anything to protect each other. The passion they had was beautiful and it was great seeing Gavin grow from that meek Omega to someone with self confidence. I really really enjoyed this read.

Omega Gavin Moon had already lost his father and was on the verge of losing his grandfather. Being so rare, his grandfather felt the need to shelter him and be the father to his grandson that his real father never was. What his grandfather failed to mention...how sick he really was. As a favor, he enlists an alpha to guard Gavin from the alpha currently vying for power over the pack. While at his father's funeral, Charles tries to use this moment of vulnerability to get his claws in Gavin.
Alpha Jax Nolan took on a favor that he knew might have been more than he could handle. He just didn't realize how much of a pull on his mind, body and heart this would be. Against better judgement, he agrees to protect Gavin. He appears at the funeral home and finds Charles and other packmates, going after the omega. He immediately steps in, and the emotions are all downhill from there. Trying to maintain professionalism was not going to be easy. Nor did he really want it to be.
Their coming together as mates was anything but quiet and predictable. Gavin was definitely full of surprises. Jax fell head over heels and did everything to protect him. Charles was out of control and deserved his ending.
Leave it to Jax and Gavin to end up with more kids than anyone else.
All good things must come to an end. Each book in the series ended on a well written note. Finding their happily ever after with the perfect mates to suit their needs and personalities. Instead of each book feeling like a separate entity, all came together as one continuous story while focusing on each couple, the babies and everything in between.

Gavin Moon, an Omega, was at his alpha father’s funeral. He felt like an outsider to the pack. He only stayed in the pack because of his grandfather. His long-time bully acquaintances started toward him being their usual cruel selves. Then Charles, the second in command, put his hand on Gavin’s shoulder. Gavin tried to back away, but he didn’t let him. He eyed the exit but the two enforcers were loyal to Charles. Charles had always watched Gavin but never made a move. Now Gavin was feeling uncomfortable. Charles would take him as a toy, one he could break. As Gavin tried to move away, Charles held his arm tighter, urging him to a private place. But a huge stranger Alpha blocked the doorway and demanded Charles let the Omega go. Even the enforcers backed away.
Charles threatened Jax Nolan who remained calm and lethal. Jax, who worked for a shifter security firm, pulled Gavin close to his body and said he was there for Gavin. Gavin’s grandfather had requested this, believing Gavin was in danger. This was a personal favor for Richard Moon. The longer Jax guarded Gavin, the more attracted he felt. When Gavin asked him if he was just a job to him, Jax pulled him close and kissed him, then told him to get some sleep… as if!
Jax expected his attraction to fade, but it didn’t. He was keeping his feelings hidden for now. For the moment, he was here to support Gavin. But he might have plans when it was time to return to his pack. Would he be returning alone? Would Charles let them escape from his pack territory?
A favor for an old friend turns out to be the best thing you've ever done!
What a stunning addition to the Shattered Pack series! I have been eagerly awaiting this book. It did not disappoint. All my old friends are here, welcoming me back into their lives. There are new enemies, a favor turned promise, a sweet omega with a spine of steel, and an overprotective alpha with a violent past. Ooh, did I mention adorable babies? You will love this book! This is Jax & Gavin's story. A favor for an old, dying friend brings Jax to the one thing he never thought he'd have... his mate. Gavin has been sheltered. Now he is in danger and Jax is his only hope. Come. Watch as Jax and Gavin realize their attraction, as intense as it is inevitable, is more than just lust, it's love. That love will be tested. Danger will follow them & finally come to a head. Issue resolved, shifter style. HEA is assured. I love this book! This book has a lot of violence. Shifter violence, so not unexpected. It also has sexy scenes, compassion, loyal friends, and chocolate croissants. You need to grab this book. Now. Please, read the previous books in order. You will be glad you did. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Why can’t we have any consistent world building? And why does everything center on victim blaming to get the plot forward!?
It would have been nice if, before writing any of these books, the author had sat down and plotted out some basic world-building to provide some consistency for what it means to be fated, how a fated bond is recognized, and realized, and what kind of perks, and drawbacks, come with mating. Suddenly, in this final book, claiming a fated mate allows the two mates to see the bonds that fate has created be magically strengthened through the claiming bite. And yet, somehow, AFTER that, we still have the crazy notion that Gavin needs to keep away from Jax - for his own good. If anything, Gavin leaving would result in Jax leaving the pack and staying with his mate.
And why does everyone accept that good people are responsible for the bad choices of bad people who won’t leave the good ones alone?! No, you are not responsible for someone stalking you! You are not responsible for someone hiring mercenaries to kill you and anyone who gets in their way! I can understand the feeling that Gavin has, but Cole was completely out of line, and the fact that no one really called him on it showed that they were all complicit in placing some of the blame on Gavin!
Jumping Jax is book 4 in the Shattered Pack series. This book is about Gavin, an omega and son of the pack Alpha, and Jax, an aloha who was sent by Gavin's grandfather to protect him. When his father dies Gavin is in fear of Charles, who was his father's second, taking claim to him, which is something Gavin doesn't want. Though he doesn't think it's necessarily or that he's worthy, Gavin is grateful to have Jax there for his protection. I was so glad Jax found his mate. And that the others noticed a difference in him. Though it took Gavin a bit to realize he's better with Jax and his pack they do get their happy ending and Gavin finds a pack that cares for him. I love this series and definitely recommend it.

Jax goes to the Silver Bullet pack to protect Gavin at the request of his grandfather Richard who Jax owed his promise. Charles is trying to claim the pack and Gavin as his even though he is no good and a bit of a coward. Unfortunately Charles has money. It was a fight to get out of the Silver Bullet pack after Richard dies. When Jax takes Gavin home with him, they act on their attraction and mate. There is tension created by an attack engineered by Charles but this is resolved as is Charles finally. Now all the alphas of the Shattered Pack are happily mated and have families.
Jax struggles with being the last unmated in his pack, Gavin has never been a valued member of the pack he grew up in. It started with a favor, ended with love. Will Gavin realize he is worth something? Will Jax be able to keep him safe?
Loved seeing Jax finally find his mate. Have to say I could understand why Gavin struggled after being sheltered and put down his whole life. I loved the fact that Jax was there and while he was an Alpha, he still allowed himself to show his softer side when it came to those he cared about. Good read!

Hate for this series to end but I was happy all the alphas got their mates. Jax was the last of the pack to get his happy ending and I believe Gavin was a nice match/mate for him. This one had a little more violence/action, a little steam...not so much romance but a lot of love and devotion between the pack. I felt the ending was rushed a bit so I was left with wanting a little more of Jax and Gavin. So I was thrilled to learn that there was a bonus scene to enjoy. Nice!

I’m loving this series and I loved Jax’s and Gavin’s story my heart went out to Gavin his father hated him and his pack mates treated him like crap all because he was an omega. Gavin lived a lonely life if it wasn’t for his grandfather then Gavin would have no one that’s until Jax arrives one day and finds his mate in Gavin but there is someone in the pack who wants Gavin for himself Jax won’t let that happen because Gavin is his. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I loved Jumping Jax. It's the fourth book in the Scattered Pack series. Gavin and Jax were great together and I'm glad that Charles and his mercenaries got what was coming to them. The book was missing the occasional word and it was a little distracting. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book from Booksprout.
I really enjoyed Jax and Gavin's story. It started out on a depressing note but it was very heartwarming and sweet the way Jax fell for Gavin (and vice versa) while guarding him. The plot was compelling and I was happy for them after they dealt with the villain in the story. I definitely loved this series and found it to be very enthralling, entertaining, and totally heartfelt.
Really enjoyed the storyline and characterization but I wish writers would employ a proofreader as grammatical errors and spelling mistakes interrupted the flow of the story for me
Great ending to a great series each story is about a different alpha in a small group and how they meet their omegas. They’re great HEA story with just the right amount of anxiety in it. Highly recommended series
I really like this book lots of action but I'm disappointed with the omega Gavin, he got on my last nerve whining about his stuff, they are about to get attacked and he wants to stop and get his stuff?!?! OMG!!!!
An interesting and easy read to finish off this series. Not my favourite book in this series but I am glad I read it as I hoped that Jax would have a happy ending with someone he cared about.
