Alpha Prince Austin Lance Vinci had it all, he was the first born of king Jeremy ,the handsome prince who everyone loved and adored .He was also the alpha of the Moon Pack, the most powerful pack ever known .He had the perfect life and was ready to settle with his new found mate when everything suddenly fell apart.
The kingdom was suffering financially and the only way to save it was to accept the marriage proposal of Princess Lucy Rosemary.
Princess Lucy Rosemary loved her life even though she was the mistreated adopted daughter of the royal family, her life takes an unexpected turn when she's suddenly forced into an arranged marriage with the possessive, arrogant Prince Austin Lance Vinci.
As if that's not all, she's soon to discover an entire world she never even knew existed.
"What do you mean I'm getting married? " I asked the queen in utter dismay.
She stared at her nails under the lights, acting the least bit interested in what I had to say.
"Did you really think my husband adopted you because he wanted another daughter? No sweetie, you've always been a business investment ,this was the plan all along .You're finally going to serve your purpose and repay us for giving you a roof over your head all of these years."
Austin's
Ariana's hands tangled in my hair as I jammed her up against the wall, my mate. My lips crashed down on her neck and she moaned my name in response. . .and just like before, I couldn't do it. I couldn't mark her, what the hell was wrong with my wolf?
"Alpha, we have a problem."
My eyes shut to Alex in annoyance. "This better be good ." I warned him.
"I can assure you that it is."
I reluctantly dropped my hands from around my mate and followed Alex outside.
"We just had word from your parents, something that will affect you greatly. As you're already aware. . .our kingdom is in jeopardy and in order to save it they've accepted a marriage proposal from Princess Lucy Rosemary."
"What?" I roared.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………
"What the hell is this story about you marrying this slut of a princess today?"Ariana shouted at me before her eyes took in my suit. "And you're actually going through with it?"She asked in disbelief.
"Ariana , I'm so so sorry ,I never even knew of this arrangement until yesterday , I have to do this for my people, please try and understand...this is just as hard for me as it is for you."
"Your people? That's all you ever think about, what about me?Your mate?Do I mean nothing to you?"She demanded.
"Of course you matter to me , look I swear to you , if there is any way to get out of this marriage I will...if not, please know that she would never mean anything to me."I whispered."No one can take your place in my life."
"Make sure you make her life a living hell."
"I think its already happening , I mean she isn't even having a normal happy wedding which every woman deserves, just a rushed private ceremony."I pointed out."You have nothing to worry about."I said pulling her into my arms.
Got sucked in through a Facebook ad for the book app Dreame and then I was captivated by this story.
I like Paranormal romance and tend to be drawn to the ones that talk about wolfs, The Alpha Prince and His Bride is a interesting story and the good start to this wolf pack series that you can't help but be interested in.
This is not the best written story or has the greatest story line but it is an interesting story, the author does keep you entertained and intrigued about what will happen with these characters if they don't find or end up with their destined mates.
I am now invested and will continue to read the rest of the books that correlate to this series.
This was like reading from Wattpad full of plot and grammatical errors. There was even a stray passage that seemed like it was from another book. POV constantly switches. I understand the whole possessive fated mates genre and so that didn’t bother me that the main characters didn’t really build up their relationship. I finished it because I do support child writers and like the werewolf trope. Keep trying.
This book was great! However it did have manny grammatical errors which made it hard to read at moments but the storyline was great! I read the whole book in one day.
Lucy was given to the royal family as a baby and was used as a glorified maid ever since. That is until now when she is told that she is to be married off to the Prince of another kingdom, Austin. Although she knows nothing of him, directly before the wedding she goes in search of the washroom only to find him with another woman wrapped in his arms and is instantly filled with jealousy. Austin is being forced to marry some human from another Kingdom in order to help his family even though he is a werewolf who has already found his true mate. Although, for some reason he is drawn towards Lucy and doesn't want anyone else to touch her. I started reading this book on a post on Facebook then ended up downloading some weird app called Dreame in order to read the rest. What can I say I am a sucker for a paranormal romance. That being said the hassle you have to go through in order to read this book is really not worth it. You pay for credits to read chapters at a time instead of purchasing the entire book at once. Also, as a blogger I like to give credit where credit is due. The author's name is more of a profile handle than anything else. I know that her full first name is Laura due to research and finding her wattpad account. Other than that nothing. The book itself, due largely, I believe, to the fact that this book is like blog posts where the author types something up and then just posts it is in desperate need of editing. In many places you have to guess what word the author was intending to type instead of what actually came out. I get it, typing is a pain and when something is trying to come out of your brain spell-check isn't always the first thing on your brain. This is why rereading and editing is important. All in all this is a good paranormal romance, but I won't be looking for others in the series only because of how annoying it is to be able to read the book. Normally I would post a link to the book for purchase, but as it was an app I don't know that it is even available for online reading. Hopefully the author explores other avenues at some point to release their books.
The writing style was easy to read and follow. A serious edit needs to be done on the book though due to the large amount of spelling and grammar errors and wrong words used. I started reading this story on Facebook and was committed to the story from the get go. I then had to first go searching for the book and where I could buy it. I almost gave up.
The storyline was very good. I enjoyed the fantasy parts, the suspense, the twists and turns, the love story and Lucy’s backstory. That is the only reason I bothered to keep reading this book in such an irritating manner. In fact, the storyline is the only reason this book got a 2 out of 5. The errors and the way I had to read it dropped the rating, otherwise it would have gotten a 5.
If you want to read the full review, then you can go over to my blog and read it at the link below:
This was the first werewolf book I read and the first book I read on the Dreame app, so I think part of my rating comes from nostalgia and gratitude for introducing me to the genre.
The storyline is good and keeps you wanting more. I actually wish I knew exactly what it is about her writing that draws you in that way so I could bottle a little of it for myself. :) There are some typos and grammatical errors, but not enough to ruin the story.
I have read the second and third books of the series (the third is the best one, in my opinion!) and I love how she continues to build on the world, introducing new characters but keeping the familiar ones around too.
Narrated in Multiple POVs and a Standalone with No Cliffhanger but there are other book too after this one so some questions were left unanswered.
Captivating and interesting story line and I quite enjoyed it in the beginning but in the middle it started going downwards with no relationship development between Austin and Lucy and some other things too.
I read this after seeing an ad based on the book. It is a very short, easy read. I finished the whole thing in one night. Because of this there’s not a lot of world building or character development. If you want a quick, somewhat predictable and a little cheesy paranormal romance/adventure it’s a pretty good choice. I liked it enough I started the second one.
Lots of cussing to what the book consider "royalty" I have to stop reading it lost my interest about chapter 21/22 glad I didn't pay for this book cause I would be very pissed
The book has a captivating storyline. Unfortunately, the excessive cursing took away from the characters' emotions. Instead, the author would be more successful by shifting to the 3rd person POV and using more descriptive vocabulary.
Completely unpolished. Every author knows that you do not make liberal use of the f*** word. You must use plenty of descriptive words instead. Grammar is off and many spelling errors. Plot wasn't bad. I was captivated enough that I read the next two books that followed.
Love the story line ! Kept me engaged and wanting to know more . Only missing a star because of the many spelling and grammar Mistakes in the final chapters. But I’m dying to read the sequel!😩👏🏿
