Cute and very Christian. The stories would have been so much better if they were longer and more developed, each had several unique small tangents and details that really need more time to dive into.
Just got done with 'Cupcakes For Two'. I liked it, but in my opinion, these kinds of books are so short; too short. With it being a romance novel(s) and all, the "love" the characters experience moves much too quickly. I don't know, maybe that's just me. I like long books that take the serious things like that slow, but just don't move slow. This book, though good, rushed through the romance and made it a 90 page book.
This was four short (very short) stories about treats and romances (as you can tell from the title). I prefer longer stories that build the plot and relationships more thoroughly. Not a complete waste of time, but not very satisfying.
I am reading this in between my book club book. It is a light, happy read. Easy to pick up and put down. On page 97. Finsished this a couple days ago. It was a sweet, light read. A little too much religion to recommend but I enjoyed it.
This book was fun how it intertwind four different peoples lives into one subject, an online cooking website. A great faith based group of stories for the short-story reader.
Fast read, stories are very predictable and mushy. Everyone happens to fall in love w/the perfect person after while taking online cooking classes and baking disastrous desserts. Very corny for a romance novel.
