4 ⭐️ cheating trope with a slight plot twist. I would’ve rated it higher but the book dragged just a little bit. Too much back and forth! I kept saying “ok we need to wrap this upppp” LoL
Chyna was my girlllllll because as soon as she found out about Snow & his lil situation she was like ✌🏽. After 3 kids & being together for soooo long he went & did some bullsh*t. What’s the saying “n*gas ain’t shit”. He had me pisssed! Cardi B voice “WHAT WAS THE REASONNNNNN!?!?!?!” Lmao
Thennnnn come to find out her lil rebound ain’t no better. I liked Gunner in the beginning but he switched up & was crazy 😵💫 His ass was young too.
I am happy the way it ended. But geeeeeez.
Also, this book cover does not match what is going on in the book not that it really matters.

This one here was a wild ride!
Forget clutching my pearls...this book had me holding my breath while squeeling the entire time.
This read like the wildest Bet+ mini series and I was here for every bit of the shuckery.
I just knew SOMEBODY wasn't gonna make it out alive and I was sad about the fallout, but honestly, luck was on everyone's side. This book was too darn good.
Reading the author's note, I have so much respect for this author and wish her nothing but continued healing, love and peace.

The way this author tells a story is unmatched. This was definitely an emotional roller coaster for sure but I enjoyed every minute. It was definitely relatable to a lot of woman and every outcome may not the same but you should always choose what makes you happy

For this to be 300+ pages I went through this quick. Lemme first say that Snow and Chyna had me on a 🎢🤦🏾♀️. Snow pissed me off so bad. When n*#gas get money they sh*tt on the one that was there when they ain’t have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of. Chyna got on my last nerve to with the back and forth. This book should’ve been named “Confusion” because she one confused a** woman. I did get her standpoint because she been with this man since 16 & had all his kids so it’s hard to move on from someone you so attached too but sis had to get it together. When she aired him out in front of the kids 😭 & busted her gun at him I’m like yeahh sis BIG Mad as she should tho. But a man will have you losing all ya marbles but one thing a n*#ga gon do is n*gg. Taniah was a bop. I felt like she wanted to be Chyna so bad but it was only one. Poor Swank. My heart went out to Jewel. Would’ve loved to see how they would’ve played out. I’m not gonna lie I don’t hate Gunner. Why? is because Chyna played in his face. She knew deep down she wasn’t done with Snow. Gunner was her escape and she basically used him until Snow and her got back right. He has feelings too and she played with them. But he wrong for putting his hands on her and pulling up to them people house where they kids lay they had at. He need to go on with Che Che. I’m happy Snow and Chyna got it together tho. I was rooting for them but I was angry with Snow decision making. This had so much drama that it kept you interested. I loved this because it was so realistic. Real emotions. What I don’t like is that there is no epilogue. I would of love to see how things turned out. I feel like the ending was rushed a little but I really did enjoy this and I definitely recommend.

She did it again!
What a ride! What a ride! Snow proved a man could right his wrongs but Chyna worked ME AND HIS NERVES! I think the resentment was more confusion. Confusion she helped create since Snow was never leaving her. Glad the two got it right but Gunner clearly still needs to be dealt with. Maybe we shall see at a later time. Great job!

Ain’t no way.
First things first this book long as hell but didn’t feel long at all. Before I knew it I was half was through the book. It was a good read. I enjoy the drama in Nicole’s books. She keeps it coming. The back and fourth was a bit much but a turn off in the book if that makes sense. Gunner was on my nerves. Loved the bad ass kids in the book. Over all good read.

Toxic love
Chyna and Snow were so toxic! I enjoyed every bit of it. The best part was when Chyna gave Snow a taste of his own medicine. Chyna had Snow love sick and I was cheering her on the whole way. Glad they finally got it together.

I loved it!!! Finally a chick that ain't stupid over her man! Chyna is the people's champ right now. She put Snow ass thru it, I actually felt bad for him a few times. The book was well written as always and the storyline was complete from beginning to end. She answered every question and after I finished the story I was content with the outcome. This is a must read.

Crazy!
Chyna and Snow really went through alot. I really think Gunner was I love with Chyna and he got her heart broken. I was so glad the neither baby belong to their slides. Love that they got it together .

I ate this book up! I was literally glued to it from the first page—I couldn’t stop reading! This was my first book by this author, and it didn’t disappoint at all!
It had drama, romance, spice, and a little bit of action! It was also really funny.
My jaw definitely dropped a few times while reading this! This was a wild ride with these two (Chyna & Snow)—they were so TOXIC!
Snow was definitely more toxic, but Chyna had her toxic ways as well. She definitely had a reckless mouth and was very feisty. I liked that about her, though. What I didn’t like, however, is how she came off a little manipulative, and she definitely gaslighted Gunner.
Snow had a lot of AUDACITY! He’s a prime example of “men can’t handle what they dish out!” And he definitely couldn’t handle what Chyna was dishing out after his indiscretions were exposed.
My girl Chyna was living her BEST LIFE with her lil young ting while Snow was SICK! But he did it to himself. I loved that Chyna actually had a backbone and wasn’t weak! She could definitely go toe-to-toe with Snow, and she didn’t back down! She did make some questionable decisions—but they both did.
I had kind of already seen the ending coming, but a part of me kind of wishes they didn’t get back together. I feel like it would’ve been more realistic that way—but I don’t know. I have a love-hate feeling about the ending, but it didn’t take away from the book at all. I loved it—highly recommend!

As I do all of Miss Jackson’s novels, I loved this story. Every story grabs your attention from the first page and Resentment was no different. The truth is most of her stories are break up to make Up type stories, but they are all inherently different. In Resentment you see the love that Chyna has for Snow and vice versa, but in the story I feel like they both learned how to love each other in different ways. Not just the physical, but really falling in love in seeing how you can’t live without the other person. At some point I was so annoyed with the women in Chyna’s family mainly her mother and cousin because it’s like they made her feel bad for leaving that man when ultimately he betrayed her. I was so glad when her mother got it and saw how much strength it takes to walk away when you’re in love and it’s not being reciprocated. Anyway I don’t want to give too much of the story away, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

WOW!
75% of this book was really fuck Snow. I knew by the title what I was getting into but I truly never thought id literally feel the emotions that Chyna was feeling. 25% was feeling Gunnar but I knew it was right. This book was damn real and it felt like something I experienced before or at least witness. Nicole ass keeps me on my damn toes with the twist and turns and surprises. Swack definitely made my ass cry. At this point I have read majority of Nicole’s books and they always have me in my damn feelings. I love seeing other characters pop it too. I thought maybe Yaya and Romeo was my top couple in the Nicole’s world but man Chyna and Dion might be snatching the spot. I love that final conversation with her mom, and then conversation with lil Dion. Damn man this book is just good as hell.

Lawd hammercy! This was so good! First of all let me say this! Snow was ok but I really liked Gunna! I absolutely hate how, because of what Snow and Chyna was going through, Gunna was put in certain positions. Chyna played with his emotions too much. She made me mad when she was still being with Snow while sleeping with Gunna. Yea, I get the age difference but she knew that from jump. He was standing on business with her from day one. She was the one who was mad that Snow did what he did and took her fast tail self out there wanting to move on so soon. She also shouldn’t have told Gunna about the baby until she knew for sure it was his. Caused him to lose his gf, once again disrupting his life after he moved on. Loved this book and so glad I found this author.

I appreciate a good raunchy, lust filled, X rated read from time to time. This here took me back though. So many relatable situations, real life happenings to say the least.

This story is SO realistic when it comes to the fact, two can't always play the same game!! Snow wanted it all by any means necessary including Chynas' feelings be damned. Everybody and anybody will over look discretion when all hands are in the cookie jar including the closest to you. But babyyyyy when it becomes mommas baby daddy's maybe resentment will set in quick. Very good read and will leave you wanting more and the answers to why Snow even let it go so far.

OMG I want another book
Chyna and Dion story was full of trial and tribulation cheating and betrayal, lies. Hate that his cousin got killed when he was trying to get out of the game and be happy with Jewel. Gunner (aka) known as Kristen he was doing to much I felt he know Chyna was still in love with Snow. Then she found out she was pregnant almost 5 months was sure who the father was come to find out Snow (aka) Dion was the father of her baby. Great read I would like another book end to fast.

At this point, Nicole Jackson’s books must have crack in them because I literally could not put this one down. From the very first page to the very last, I was locked in and STRESSED literally holding my butt cheeks together the whole time 😭.
Chyna and that damn snow had me on edge! This story gave everything: love, betrayal, loss, and forgiveness. The emotions were heavy, the twists were wild, and I felt every moment right along with the characters. RIP Kinfolk and I hope Gunner got his girl back!

Of course I’m ready to see how things are going to play out. I want Chyna to boss up so bad on Snow. That whole situation is annoying, her mama and her really pissed me off🤬 I wish she would’ve just walked away, but that would’ve been to dang easy😂 I don’t like Snow right now, I don’t like nobody that’s being friendly with Taniah but hey it happens😂 just ready to see how everything plays out. This book was very entertaining from start to finished. Even when I though I knew what would happen if next I was completely wrong each time. The people you love are not perfect and they make mistakes. Love has to be learned and this book really showed that. The storyline is realistic and character connection raised the bar. I felt the pages like I witnessed the betrayal myself I enjoyed this story 💕.

Chyna and Snow had drama out the ying yang. Sheesh. I wasn’t expecting the ending just by the title.
Some parts dragged out and I contemplated on just retiring the book but Chyna kept pulling me back.
Swack “aye kinfolks” is a funny dude. Life has a way of bringing things into perspective. Sometimes it’s babies or death.
Overall good book with a GREAT editor.

This was a good read! Before I started this book I read all the reviews and was a little skeptical on reading it. Everyone saying that this has the same repetitive sorry line but honestly most urban books do... u just have to know how to write a story to draw your audience. This book was funny, filled with drama and had sad moments. I loved it and stayed up all night to finish it. 5 stars

I know I’m late but this is the best book I read this year and the first I’ve read from this author. Most books I don’t usually remember the characters names but there’s No forgetting these two! It was a roller coaster of emotions and I felt for chyna at the same time as being mad at her! The story was so well written that it broke my heart about swack looking forward to reading her other books

Unconditional love
This book was amazing. Miss Nicole did her thing on this. I loved how Snow and China went through their rough times, but through it all they still show each other love because it was a real love, unconditional, love, and the fact that they both been together since you young. I was hurt because I still think Jewel deserves a happy ending. She was rooting so hard for snow in China, but she ended up losing the love of her life Sway I think we need a book 2

I love this author
She always keeps me engaged, I feel like I know the characters personally. I want to hop in the book and help them fight. Very well written, and always a story line that you can relate to. I am hoping it won't be long before she puts out another banger. I'm ready...

Another banger !!!!
As always Nicole delivers!!!!! This story was full of resentment, reading this book allowed my moods to change constantly. I live for your stories Nicole but this book was so realistic. I’m happy Chyna and Snow made it through the storm, it took a lot of mistakes for them to realize what they already had in front of them !!!! I loved this book
