Life is going great for Hannah, really. She’s fallen in love with her best friend, her brother is getting married, and she’s looking forward to another festive Christmas in Evergreen. Still, between her job, taking charge of the choir, and being the town’s jill-of-all-trades, she’s feeling uninspired…especially when Elliot starts to question his own role in the town.
Hannah finds fresh inspiration in the brand-new Evergreen Christmas Museum, and she volunteers for their storytelling project. When she interviews her fellow Evergreenians, however, she learns that not everyone wants the museum around; specifically Mr. Cooper who owns a third of the building. As Hannah finds herself with more and more responsibilities, and as her relationships with Elliot and her family grow strained, she starts to wonder about what she really wants. Can her love and newly-found purpose survive the changes that loom after the holidays are over?
Lacey Baker, a Maryland native, is a wife, mother, Nana and an author. Family cookouts, reunion vacations and growing up in church have all encouraged Lacey to write heartwarming and inspirational stories about the endurance of family and finding love. She is the author of the Sweetland series and Hallmark Channel Original Movies: A Gingerbread Romance and Christmas In Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing.
This is the fourth installment for Christmas in Evergreen. It's a feel-good holiday romance that features a different couple than the last. In Bells are Ringing it's Elliot and Hannah's story.
A close-knit community of Evergreen, Vermont is also known as Christmas village. The town attracts tourists this time of year with its quaint small shops, and restaurants. There's a country inn, museum, church, Christmas tree farm, and a famous snowglobe. Hannah loves the simple life in Evergreen, although busy, she's taken extra responsibility at the new Christmas museum. Hannah and Elliot are childhood friends and have been dating for a year, things are going well, maybe? Elliot has a goal of expanding his business out of town. Would they make it work?
I love Evergreen, Vermont. It's such a magical place. I would love more chemistry between Hannah and Elliot. They are more friends than lovers to me.
The audiobook read by Kathleen McInerney is wonderful. She's been the voice for this series since book one and is perfect for the story.
Christmas in Evergreen; Bells are Ringing is based on a Hallmark channel movie (2020). I have not watched the show and my guess is the novel will follow the movie pretty closely.
🥧 Recipe included: Maple Sweet Potato Gratins with Ginger and Pecan Streusel.
My thanks to Hallmark Publishing and NG for an audio ARC. Now Available
Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing by Lacey Baker Based on a Hallmark Channel original movie. Contemporary sweet romance. Return to the town of Evergreen where Christmas is a source of revenue and romance. Hannah is busy working with several local businesses as well as the church choir. She and Elliot have been friends as long as she can remember. She takes on additional responsibility at the new Christmas museum when she starts to question her life goals. What does she want?
The story is told mostly from Hannah’s perspective however, we also get a bit of Elliott as well as many other major town personalities. It’s a sweet story of finding joy, love and the driving passion of makes the person complete. I enjoyed revisiting the town and reading the story from the movie.
Quote: “Elliot loved seeing her smile. And when she laughed, it relaxed him like nothing else ever had.”
🎧 I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Kathleen McInerney. The performance was professional with good tonal variations. I listened to the audiobook at 1.25. Anything faster made the female voice sound like a tiny Christmas fairy.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley, Hallmark and DreamscapeMedia.
3.5 I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others, but it was still really cute. I didn’t like that the couple was already a couple. Also this one is not as Christmasy as the others. I also found Hannah to be kind of annoying too be honest. But it’s still a cute read for Christmas.
3.5 rounded up. Bells are Ringing is the 4th book in the Christmas in Evergreen series with the previous books having been written by Nancy Naigle. Bells are Ringing was a new author, but references were made to the previous books which gave this one a great connection. A close-knit community of Evergreen, Vermont is a close knit community, also known as Christmas village. It is a tourist town, especially at Christmas with with its quaint small shops, restaurants, a Christmas tree farm and the famous wish upon snowglobe. In a previous story, Hannah dropped and broke the snowglobe, but with the help of Elliot it has been repaired. Elliot and Hannah have been friends since childhood and they are now dating. They also run her parent's shop. She is happy, but wants to leave her mark, so she volunteers to take the reins of the Christmas Museum. This, along with helping with the Christmas choir has Hannah in over her head and she doesn't seem to have time for much else, including Elliot. Meanwhile, Elliot also wants something of his own and is looking to open a new store in the city, and he wants Hannah to go with him. Can these two decide what is really important in life?
I enjoyed this sweet Christmas story. I like all the Christmas trappings and customs in Evergreen. There is a side story involving one of the owner's of the hat factory that the town plans to use for the museum, but the main story is Hannah and Elliot. Will they figure out that they have everything they need and Putting their mark on something isn't more important than love? I liked both of the main characters. Hannah is sweet, maybe too sweet sometimes and perhaps learning to say no would benefit her. Elliot is a woman's dream. He is patient, caring, understanding and romantic. This is a predictable story with a bit of angst, and Christmas magic. Just what I am looking for in a sweet Christmas read. The audiobook was narrated by Kathleen McInerney, one of my favoured performers. This made this story just a bit better to listen to.
Hands up who loves Hallmark and Christmas? It wouldn't be Christmas without these fantastic festive treats.
Perfect cosy under a blanket with a peppermint hot chocolate and a crackling fire. Whilst I've seen and read the other Christmas In Evergreen series this one was new to me. There is a different feel to the rest of the series and a different author but still everything you come to expect and love from Hallmark. Snow is falling, carols are being sung, twinkling lights. It's the community feel that always brings me back. That being said i couldn't connect to the couple in the story, they seemed more friends than a couple. However, despite those feelings this was still an enjoyable read. I loved my return to Evergreen and to catch up with the residents. It's such a magical place. I love all the festive traditions, and the community coming together to help each other. Such a cute, feel good festive treat. Now I need to watch the film.
Thank you to Netgalley and Hallmark Publishing for an ARC in exchange for an honest review
This Christmas in Evergreen book is by a different author and is not nearly as good as the previous books. Welcome back to Evergreen, the town built on Christmas wishes… And learn what happens after one snow-globe wish comes true. This is the first book I have read by this author. I'll give her another chance but only one. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
Hallmark Christmas movies are my jam, so you know I was all in and ready for the warm cozy goodness. This is a very typical Christmas romance but that's exactly what I wanted to it's a win.
I didn't initially realize this was the 4th book in a series. I didn't feel lost or like I was missing something important to the story, they do features different couples, but I did feel I was missing some of the sense of community or familiarity I would have felt.
I love the small town community with its small shops and quirky residents. This is Hannah and Elliot's story and I loved their connection.
Side note - I need to know where I can find a place like Evergreen, I was made for a place known as Christmas Village.
"Bells are Ringing (Christmas In Evergreen #4), by Lacey Baker, is the book version of the Hallmark movie of the same name. Evergreen, Vermont is a quaint little close-knit community where Christmas is not just a holiday, it's a way of life. The residents work together to keep the town the popular tourist attraction that it is, and a magical "make a wish" snow globe interweaves the lives of visitors and townsfolk alike. Hannah Turner, who had lived in Evergreen all her life, was very much a part of the every day goings-on in the town. In addition to working at the local inn, heading up the choir, and volunteering for the storytelling project at the new Evergreen Christmas Museum, she pretty much said "yes" whenever someone asked for her help. She was also preparing for the wedding of her brother Thomas to the town's beloved mayor, Michelle. All of this activity left little time for a personal life. A year ago, Hannah had wished on the snow globe for someone to love, and much to her surprise, her longtime friendship with Elliot Lee had blossomed into a romance. Elliot had purchased the Tinker Shop once owned by Hannah's parents, and the time he and Hannah spent together in the shop had brought them closer together. However, Hannah was so busy coming and going, the two of them had not found the right moment for a serious talk about the future. Elliot had plans and dreams that might not please Hannah, but he needed to find a way to broach the subject. This holiday season was growing more and more complicated, with a snowstorm that could postpone the wedding for Thomas and Michelle, and a threat that may close plans for the Christmas Museum. Will a much-needed Christmas miracle cone through just in time to set all things to right and make way for much happiness ahead? A journey back to Evergreen and a visit with the townsfolk is the perfect way to let the spirit of Christmas fill your own holiday.
It's time for a book review. I was thrilled to get to the chance to review the audiobook for Christmas In Evergreen Bells Are Ringing from Netgalley. This book is based off a Hallmark original movie. I love Christmas movies and my Christmas season is not complete without them. So, I couldn't pass up getting my Christmas movie feel in book form.
Christmas In Evergreen Bells Are Ringing follows Hannah and her boyfriend Elliot through their Christmas season in the town of Evergreen. Hannah gets a job at the new Christmas museum, but hits a few roadblocks from one of the towns people. Hannah has to figure out her place in the town of Evergreen and figure out how her relationship with Elliot will factor in moving forward.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a Christmas movie in writing! It was the perfect mix of Christmas spirit and holiday feel. The narration of the audiobook was well done as well.
Christmas In Evergreen Bells Are Ringing releases TOMORROW (November 2, 2021).
Thank you to Netgalley, the author, and the publisher, @dreamscape_media, for gifting me this audiobook for review!
My 1st visit to Evergreen, which is a Christmas town in Vermont that has a overload of Christmas spirit. Hannah the year before wished on the town’s magical Christmas globe and broke it. Elliot, her best friend helps her repair it and finds out there is more to their friendship. Fast forward to present, life is good. Hannah is in love with her best friend, her brother is getting married and she volunteers for more on a plate that is overflowing already. The story is how Hannah learns to balance all that is going on in her life, handling the unexpected and believing that wishes can come true. Very typical Christmas story, the narrator was good, but to me Hannah’s voice was very childish. Although a good job on the other characters. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story. #NetGalley #ChristmasinEvergreen
As far as feel-good Christmas reads go, this one was fine. It was a cute little story wrapped up in a neat holiday package. I can see how it would make a great Hallmark movie. As far as romances go, it was a little blah. The couple was already together, but she was waiting for a proposal. Even in the end, there was no proposal. The couple simply decided to stay together. It implies that a proposal may be coming later though.
With all of that said, I read this as a stand-alone novel. I haven't read the rest of the series. This was an audiobook from Netgalley. Again, it was a happy, seasonal read, but nothing spectacular.

The previous book was making me a bit grumpy, and I felt like I was maybe getting a bit of Christmas romance burn-out. But in a strange twist of events, my only complaint about this final book is that the “happily ever after” wasn’t happy enough for me. What the frig, Thomas getting stranded by bad weather, and the wedding not happening. I wanted the dang wedding!

I’m a huge fan of the Christmas in Evergreen movies and once I saw that they had books I had to read them. This book is basically verbatim of the movie. I love it so much. It definitely makes for a perfect Christmas novel.
We are back in Evergreen and it is Christmas time. Hannah has wished on the snowglobe and hoping she will be getting a proposal this year. Her brother is getting married and all is going as planned. She is so busy doing everything for everyone she doesn't realize she may be missing what is in front of her. Elliot, her boyfriend, wants to open a store in Boston and wants her to go with him. She is not leaving Evergreen. Will this be the end of their relationship? Oh, and the twist is while working on the new museum the grumpy brother to the sisters shows up...twist...
**Received this ARC for review in audio from the publisher via NetGalley**
So this book is probably a really great movie. But it was too long for a book. There was a lot of back and forth and repeating the same thing over and over again. By the end I didn't really care about either character I liked her brother and his fiance better than Elliot and Hannah. A very sweet Christmas book but could have been half the length. Although made me wish I could go to a Christmas Town like evergreen.
I have honestly loved each book in the series as well as the corresponding Hallmark movies. This one was slow for me and didn’t really have the spark that most of the other ones have. I don’t know if it is because the love story was already there to begin with and didn’t need developed or if it was something else but I definitely did not enjoy this one as much as the others. This is not to say you might not enjoy it, but the excitement level just wasn’t there.
Many thanks to NetGalley for the advance copy. This is a fair reproduction of a Hallmark movie. I haven't seen this particular movie, but the formula is there. Unfortunately the chemistry isn't. And I can commiserate with Elliot. I, too, feel like I've moved to town where everybody knows everybody and I'm a bit on the outside. I didn't realize when I got the book that it was fourth in a series. In the main story line, Elliot fell in love with Hannah when he was 10 and moved to Evergreen. They were best friends and just last year, working together in the shop he took over from her parents, she fell in love with him. Very Hallmarky...it felt as if, after a year of sparking, they might finally take the leap this Christmas and actually hold hands in public. There was no intimacy of over ten years being best friends, let alone being in love. Meanwhile, he is making plans to move Hannah and himself out of Evergreen to fulfil his lifelong dream of making something for himself. Taking over from her parents doesn't seem enough. She is the village yes-man. Will not say no to any request. So she is spread too thin to give him any real attention and then decides to take on the biggest project currently going on in town. Of course, she is Evergreen to the core and wouldn't dream of leaving. So to reach a happy ending, one will have to realize they don't actually want what they've wanted all their lives and would rather have a lukewarm forever after. The platonic friendly "romance" between these two makes it the perfect starter romance for tweens and teens. (I grew up reading Harlequins. No 12 yr old should read 1970s Harlequins!) It is a sweet safe story, full of Christmas cheer. Unfortunately, it is a little unsatisfying for any adult who has experienced an actual relationship.
The rest of the story: The rest of the town is much more engaging than the main couple. I agree with the reviewer that said they like Hannah's brother and her other best friend better. The little old ladies are sweet. And, per Hallmark tradition, there is the jolly old man with the jiggling belly and snowy beard that seems to know everything but no one seems to recognize when he dons a red suit in December. The title only relates to a minor scene not related to the main romance story line or secondary conflict story line, the scroogey old codger that shows up to threaten the town's Christmas. Gee, can anything possibly happen to melt his icy heart in time to save the day? (I thought that resolution was mailed in at the end. No depth, no effort, no real credibility.) And the requisite Hallmark Christmas village coffee shop was there, whipping up peppermint mocha eggnog. (Ew! Is that even a thing?) The narration of the audio version was a bit elfin, which I thought at first might be intentional. Not knowing the rest of the series, I was wondering at the beginning if the twist would reveal that Evergreen was at the North Pole. But it was just a sweet voice to go with all the sweet dialog.
This is a story as simple and sweet as a Christmas cookie. This is a romance on training wheels I could safely recommend to budding romantics without getting parents or the school board up in arms.
I finished this book way quicker than I anticipated. I don’t remember watching this movie either, but I’m certain the book and the movie are 99.9% identical. This story takes place a year after the previous story’s events, like it was the case in the last two books. This time, we focus on Hannah and Elliot’s story, which was already established in the previous book. On top of that, we get a tiny glimpse into Allie’s life as she returns to Evergreen along with her stepdaughter Zoe, while Ryan is still stranded in Paris.
This book was written by a different author, which I think shows. It’s like this author doesn’t know the characters as we do after ‘spending Christmas with them’ for the last three books/years (so to day). For instance: - Carol is said to be around 60 years old, while Michelle is said to be about 10 years her junior. But further along, the author mentions Michelle went to college with Allie (who’s Carol’s daughter). I get that a lot of actors/actresses play characters that are supposed to be younger than they are in real life, but this just doesn’t add up in any possible way. - In the first Evergreen book/movie, Barbara opened an inn in Evergreen. In the second book/movie, her sister Meg was temporarily taking over. Yet in this book, Meg is said to have opened the bed and breakfast. - This book mentions that was a surprise that Ezra had fallen for Oliver. Though I did catch this by reading between the lines, it was never explicitly mentioned in either a previous book or movie that Ezra and Oliver were dating or even attracted to one another. - At one point, it is mentioned that Hannah possessed lots of talents, piano playing not being one of them. On top of that, it is said that during the previous Christmas festival, Elliot played the piano while Hannah “were trying to remember the keys”. This is not what was shown/written in Tidings of joy at all! - Hannah mentions how she’d love to own a dog one day, because she’s never owned a dog before. Excuse me, what about the basket of newborn pugs you carried to Allie’s vet clinic in Christmas to Evergreen? The puppies and their mother were owned by Hannah! - Hannah is said having grown up with Allie, while in Tidings of joy Carol made it seem like Hannah and Carol were around the same age (at least older than 50 years old, I believe I mentioned this in my review for that book the other day). I don’t believe for a second that Hannah is even near 50 years old, but it shows that there’s just not nearly enough eye for detail and consistency in between the stories.
While I did enjoy this book, I did miss a more elaborate description of how the museum came to be, how they built it all and put everything together. Instead, it was all constructed off-camera/off-page, which took away a big part of the fun for me. Instead, we got a sentimental bunch, misunderstandings and a couple who needs to learn to confide into each other instead of jumping to conclusions.
However, while these books are far from literal masterpieces, they do get you in a Christmas mood!

Author: Lacey Baker
'Hannah cleared her throat and smiled at Nick. “Anyway, this story starts with the Evergreen Christmas Museum. It’s the story of… well, of my Christmas in Evergreen.” ..'
Hannah works at the Tinker Shop, that Elliot bought from the previous owners - her parents - and he said yes immediately when she wanted to start weekly craft classes making globes and wreaths. In fact their business is growing really well.
Most of the time Elliot would say yes to anything Hannah asked.
He was madly in love with her.
But like all good love stories, there has to be conflict to have resolution.
Hannah and Elliot have been together since the 'snow globe incident' and though they love each other, they start to discover they may want different things.
Hannah wants to stay in Evergreen and turn the old Cooper Hat Factory into the Evergreen Christmas Museum.
Elliot wants to expand the Tinker store and open a branch in Boston.
At the same time, Michelle's wedding plans look to be derailed by the snow storms keeping Thomas and his crew stuck at the logging mill.
Jeb Cooper, brother to the infamous Cooper sisters, is also sticking his oar in to try and stop the museum going ahead.
But Hannah soon discovers not everything is so simple.
This latest Evergreen seasonal helping is chock full of Christmas warmth, joy and tangible excitement yet we get the added wedding drama, the issues between our main couple and issues within Michelle's family.
David is becoming a strong character and member of Evergreen.
This is a Hallmark book based on their movies so the reader and audience knows what they're getting.
Yes, it's a tad sentimental but it's what we're here for.
On the novel, Baker captures the warmth and spirit of the films.
Also from my point of view it's great to see a Hallmark Christmas movie centered around a more diverse cast, with a number of Black main characters and supporting leads. Looking at their forthcoming line up they're starting to address the obvious gaps in the market and reflect our society.
A bright and fun Christmas read.
Be sure to catch the film on the Hallmark channel 2nd November 2022.
If you've followed the Christmas in Evergreen series from the start, you already know this town runs on hot cocoa, twinkle lights, and pure Hallmark magic. (And yes, the entire series has been turned into Hallmark movies, so if you want to see the snow fall just so while couples kiss in front of sleighs, you can absolutely do that.) But in Bells Are Ringing, the final book in the series, it feels like some of that famous Evergreen sparkle is starting to fade.
This installment follows Hannah and Elliot, Evergreen’s resident sweethearts, as they try to plan their dream wedding. But instead of coasting into "happily ever after," they hit every roadblock you can imagine—venue disasters, guest list drama, and Hannah’s increasingly cold feet. And while Evergreen is still decked out in all the holiday glory you expect, something about this story feels quieter, slower, and a little less magical than previous books. Part of that might be because this is the first entry not written by the original author, Nancy Naigle—now it’s Lacey Baker at the helm— and while she hits the major beats, that original Evergreen warmth feels dialed down.
Instead of focusing on a brand-new romance (like the earlier books, where strangers fell in love to the tune of carolers and falling snow), Bells Are Ringing shifts focus to a couple already in love, now facing the pressure of forever. And while that’s a great premise, the execution feels a little too mellow—like we’re gliding gently toward the end rather than going out with a big, festive bang. The town is still full of friendly faces and Christmas spirit, but the story itself leans on nostalgia more than offering anything new.
Three out of five stars for a soft, sentimental farewell to a series that’s been all about love, community, and Christmas magic—even if this final chapter doesn’t quite capture the glow of Evergreen at its best. If you’ve followed the whole series (or watched the Hallmark movies), Bells Are Ringing is a sweet way to say goodbye, but if you’re picking this up hoping for that first-time-in-Evergreen magic, you might find it’s more flicker than full sparkle.
This is the 4th book in the Christmas in Evergreen series by Lacey Baker. Although, I read it as a standalone and was able to get along without having read the other three books in the series. I will likely be tracking the others down as well so to experience more of Evergreen this season.
Hannah has fallen in love with her best friend. They both begin new projects but at what cost?
Everything seems perfect. Hannah and Elliot are in love. Her brother is getting married and while she has a lot on her plate she finally takes up something that she’s passionate about, the Evergreen Christmas Museum.
This is what she has been looking for without even knowing it. As soon as she heard about this project it filled her with joy. She is determined to make it a success. But how is she going to do everything else she does and her passion project. She soon learns she can’t do it all and she will have to choose what has to go.
Meanwhile, Elliot has a project of his own he hasn’t mentioned to Hannah. She finds out by accident and the two are sent on a journey of what their paths will mean for them.
I listened to Kathleen McInernay’s narration of this story. It was a wonderful tale of what it truly means to love someone and what you have to be willing to do if you are going to give it your all. I really enjoyed listening to this book. Kathleen did an excellent job narrating.
The side characters were wonderful and Hannah’s family felt realistic even though I didn’t care for her sister much. Her friends and community makes you feel that warm, cozy, loved vibe. I would recommend this to anyone that love a sweet, romantic, love story set at Christmas time. This includes a grinch and someone that just wants to bring the magic of Christmas to everyone, Evergreen’s very own adult Cindy Lou Who.

Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing: Based on a Hallmark Channel original movie Lacey Baker-author Kathleen McInerney-Reader The main characters in this tale are Elliot and Hannah. The setting is Evergreen, Vermont, a town built around Christmas. Bells Are Ringing is the 4th book in the Christmas in Evergreen series. Evergreen, Vermont is a tourist attraction because its roots are embedded in Christmas. The town has a snow globe that is said to answer wishes. Hannah has lived in Evergreen all her life. Over a year ago she wished for love. She found the answer to her wish in Elliot; they had been friends for years and now they found they loved each other. They love each other but neither make a move toward discussing their relationship or furthering it. Elliot grew up helping her parents in the Tinker Shop; he was now the owner. Hannah liked to help out in the shop, but she also wants to give back to the town and does so by being the choir director, working at the local inn, taking on a new project at the Christmas Museum, helping with her brother’s wedding and anything else she is asked to do. Hannah just keeps taking on more and more but neglecting her own personal life. Elliot has a dream and a plan but every time he tries to discuss it with Hannah, she is too busy, or they are interrupted. A snowstorm threatens to delay the wedding. A Scrooge like character is a threat to the Museum. . Hannah was the main character; she overloaded herself and took Elliot for granted. I enjoyed the plot of this Christmas tale but the voice of the reader got on my nerves. She made Hannah sound whiney. It was all I could do to make it through the book
We've hit the fourth book--and novelization--in the Christmas in Evergreen series! This time, the focus is on couple Elliot and Hannah, who discovered their feelings in the previous book. However, trouble is on the horizon, and not just for them either.
I was a bit mixed with the book. The main couple didn't really draw me in which stunk because I was thrilled they got together in the previous book. Maybe there could have been more to the story or a different situation that would have made it more interesting. However, the subplot with Hannah and the museum was fantastic and definitely add to the Christmas-like quality of the story. Also, seeing characters from previous books make an appearance again brought that sense of familiarity and made the book feel more complete. I still love the couple, but maybe a different situation for their relationship would have been better. However, the crossroads they had is a real-life scenario folks can relate to so it did bring some realness.
The subplots involving Michelle brought more to the story too, but I think could have taken away from Hannah and Elliot's story too. Overall, this was a good read and it did improve as I read on, which is always good. The books in this series can be read together or as standalones, whichever you prefer.
I received this book for free from Hallmark Publishing and BookFunnel in exchange for an honest review.

I love the Christmas in Evergreen series! However, I can see why this one was the least popular in the series. ( even the movies). I really give this a 2 1/2 stars…. Did this author even read the other books before writing this??? The tone is completely changed along with the new author. To me it even seems like some of the characters had change.
Hannah is more whiny and never had dogs before but in the previous books she owned pugs. Has to much on her plate yet opens a museum ( originally the evergreen hat factory)
Elliot wants to open a shop in Boston expects Hannah to follow him. Hannah wants to stay in Evergreen.
Meg who is the sister of Barbra now owns the bed and breakfast instead of Barbra. Not to mention where is Barbra?
Allie lives in Paris?! After stating she never wanted to leave Evergreen. The Red truck is barely mention, we all know who ever has the truck in the book is the main character.
The start of the book said Ben and Katy met in the library. Nope they met on the train their love story continued in the library
Oliver ( Liza’s best friend and partner ) is dating Ezra the ex mayor of evergreen who moved to Boston to be with him. ( I didn’t get the impression that either one was gay or bi before) so that threw me for a loop. Lisa and Kevin no update on them.
I would love to have more Evergreen books and movies but with the Original author. I might consider giving this new one a another chance but right now that would be a no.
