Kirby dances onto the stage once again in this collection of classic—and new—comics for all ages! When everyone’s favorite pink puff finds out he’s become a video game superstar, he gets greedy for more, causing King Dedede and the rest of Dream Land to hammer some sense into him!
This is definitely one of my favorite in the series. The jokes hit hard. From how kids love talking into spinning fans, how hard it is to break wooden chopsticks cleanly, the many Kirby's needed to defeat the man King Dededes, everyone wanting to be the Star of the manga, and learning that Kirby's mouth is a relaxing safe magical place. The fourth wall breaks and a few references outside of the Kirby world still fit well. My one of favorite stories involved Kirby's appearance changing by playing his original game, then changing again through the Switch game, then getting back to normal by reading the manga. Another favorite was the sleepover story. Overall an excellent comedy read.

Adorable and tons of fun. A few of the early chapters had me laughing out loud. The inside of Kirby's mouth is a blessed and holy place. The art is so adorable, it would be worth the price for that alone, but the stories are pretty funny, and I love seeing the Kirby characters (and villains) in this context.
It’s Volume 3 now, and once again, everyone’s favorite pink ball is back with more cute and funny stories and laughs. Lots of new stories include: a big battle between Kirby and Burning Leo, a disastrous sleepover at King Dedede’s castle, and a Waddle Dee trying to stand out. Also, when you're feeling stressed, just stick your head in Kirby’s giant mouth, and shout your heart out!
Who doesn’t love Kirby Manga Mania? The characters are all so cute, as well as being very expressive and funny! I like Kirby because he loves eating and is always hungry. The stories are also clever. The author did a good job thinking of the ideas for each chapter of the book. One of my favorite stories in Volume 3 is Chapter 2, when Kirby’s face changes depending on which Kirby game he’s playing. I like that the cover has a shiny metallic pink finish. Recommended for fans of the Kirby video game and for people who are looking for manga for all ages. The whole series of three is definitely worth getting!
This is the 3rd time I’m reviewing a Kirby manga book. No seriously it actually is
It feels like I was begged or convinced to get into Kirby games instead of reading Kirby manga books but I haven’t played any Kirby games I barely played some Kirby games on the mini NES & mini Super Nintendo & I haven’t thought about playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land but hopefully I’ll get a chance to get into playing some Kirby games if I find any Kirby game in good condition right after I find some right Nintendo consoles in good to great condition soon
But as always Kirby still has his cutest charm Dedede is still Dedede & this manga has a lot of sense of humour as well as some references to some Kirby games in this volume
& whether you’re into Kirby or anything to do with Nintendo or anything gaming volume 3 is a must read
More fun Kirby and co. escapades. This one had the fun change-up of including recent manga chapters from when it was helping advertise Star Allies. The chapters don’t revolve around events from the game, but they do offer humorous angles on mechanics from the game. Still loving how much of an ass Kirby can be in some of these chapters.
Not as good as the second volume. The artist still has a weird issue with making eyes completely different at times.
But on a serious note: this kirby's personality really gives credibility to the idea that Kirby is the initial aggressor when it comes to him fighting Whispy Woods.
This one was neat because it included a chapter centered around jokes promoting Kirby Star Allies on Nintendo Switch. I feel like comics advertising video games are a relic of the past, so it was neat to see a relatively recent one.
This was my first foray into Kirby comics, and was not what I expected. I thought Kirby would be bumbling through life as more of an innocent doofus, but turns out his true nature is more of a manic instigator. And, while Kirby Kirby Kirby is the star of the show (purportedly, per the anime theme), King Dedede tends to be the protagonist – in your usual “serious man living in a upside down world” sort of style (with a few outbursts).
The gorgeous foiled cover alone is worth the cost of admission.
It’s not necessary to come into this with a working knowledge of Kirby (in fact, it might be easier coming into Kirby with no experience with the video games, as you might otherwise find it a bit perplexing that King Dedede and Kirby are always hanging out). The humor will sock you right in the 2nd - 4th grade antics bone. An all-around cute, light comedy manga for middle grade.
