I found that my breathing and heart rate slowed as I read, bringing back memories of glorious hikes in the Colorado Rockies. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a natural antidote to stress.

A beautiful book with gorgeous illustrations, well-suited for the avid gardener and novice alike!
Thank you to NetGalley & Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book was as much about mindfulness as it was about finding or bringing nature into your urban landscape. I long to have green around me and need the colors and scents of fresh flowers to get me through the long winter season in Minnesota. Chock full of ideas for city dwellers to get their fill of nature and playfully illustrated.
Easily one that I'll go back to over and over again. Very cute design and illustrations, and really good ideas to make us reconnect with the nature around us. As a biologist I feel like I'm sensitive to the wild and natural, but it's very easy to forget about it with the fast paced, confusing cityscapes. I recommend this book to everyone, both specialist and general public.
