Written in the most brilliant poetic free verse and imaginative script, the story revolves the scenic Southern Continent of Sallerton. It is believed to be home to many beings and creatures who wield great power. While Kaydenor- the protagonist's days are a journey of joy, frolic and happiness, the other side of the coin, reveals a truth, graved for long.
Jurrin and Kaydenor, the bread and butter to the novel, were separated at a young age and since then, matters have been going downhill.
On one side, is Kaydenor’s responsibilities and a matured heart of concrete decision making. On the other hand, lays the dystopia of loss, grief and unfettered emotions. This is where, the central idea of the book is showcased. Identity crisis hits the protagonist when he realizes that his deeds lack the passion and focus, already instilled in him. And while this happens, the readers are left with a question: 'How can you carry on as if you have tried your best when you know you can do more? '
The complete story, is about reuniting family, propagating brotherhood and values associated with self-introspection. It is a gripping read where allies drop in to offer help while the others might backstab. sheer conviction, thrilling adventure and an underlying concept of family, are all twined together by the author, to create the bigger picture of assonance with those around and those left in the past.
It is the true personification of a mystical read, that engross readers to look at relationships and alliances from a completely different perspective, that the pre conceived ideas.
