Everyone seems to have it all figured out. Then there she was, Francesca Ingrid Loreto, blending in with the crowd. Their well-laid plans are playing along, and she wished to be the same. She tried hard to stand for her spontaneous decisions, she tried to keep her composure despite the ripples of uncertainty taking control of her system.
Until everything in her life started to change little by little. The stars seemed to be aligning and at long last she finally knew what she has been looking for her whole life.
But reaching for the stars require perseverance, endurance, and courage. She needs to be quick before the heavens change its course. Can she do it without risking anything in return, or will everything fall down right before her eyes-all at once?
This book felt really soft in a way that's easy to sit with.
It's the kind of story that quietly reflects what it's like to be in a new space, trying to figure things out while everything feels unfamiliar. I liked how it captured that feeling of being a little lost but still moving forward anyway.
There were moments that made me miss being a kid too, when things didn't feel this complicated yet.
The MMC was also a highlight for me. I liked how he could see something good in the FMC even when she felt empty, and how he turned her negative thoughts into something lighter.
While I did enjoy it, it didn't fully pull me in emotionally. I liked the message and the overall softness, but there were parts where I felt a bit disconnected, like I was just going through the story instead of really feeling everything with them.
Still, I recommend this book especially if you're in the mood for something calm and reflective.
Thank you so much for the gifted copies, Immac Printing and Publishing House 🙏🏻
If you're looking for a slow burn and light read (in my opinion ofc) book then I guess this is for you. The prologue got me hooked the moment I knew the guy is a med student haha! I love how their love story progressed and I definitely want what they have 😭🙏
This is the first story I've read that is written by Ms. Megan and I can't wait to read the rest of her works!
