Lot of information for a beginner

I consider it is dangerous to treat these topics this way without a consider academic reading guide. I mean, sometimes the author wrote the relations between the contents here and the sagas, poems or the eddas but sometimes you don't read a real reference so it is hard to say what to choose.

Then, it is hard to say if the rainbow is a real system that could work because North people didn't reference the same colours as we do nowadays. (Read about the blue colour, for example)

Uh, no photographs here so people should be misunderstanding that kind of information. Be more didactic.

Review: The information provided in the book was definitely in tune with the "beginner" in mind. The information was explained well, providing details when needed or references when more detail wasn't feasible. Overall, I recommend this book. I give it four butterflies only because I felt like there was a bit of redundancy in some of the earlier chapters, but it is still a stellar reference!⁠
