I can feel the pain that betrays Esmeralda's courage, the pain that is like a shield holding her in limbo from living a full and joyful life. Esmeralda is not only running from the Desperados, where she had been tortured and abused, but it seems the Elemental MC are looking for her too.
Dag is looking for his mate whom he recognised from a photo, though she doesn't know it yet, but so are the Desperados, he hopes to find her first so he can protect her and as Esmeralda undoubtedly has trust issues hope's she will let him.
This is the gist of the story but obviously not all, there is a lot of action and I loved every page.

Dag and Esmeralda story will always be one of my favorites. I really loved her abilities; it was something so different from what the other women experience, and I think it helped her make her connection to Dag when she was on the run. I have been curious about her since the last book, leaving off with Dag finding out that she was his mate and Esmeralda on the run from both the Desperados and Elementals. Dag never giving up in finding her really helped show her his loyalty to a someone he knew nothing about and made her more curious as to why his energy called to her.
I have been dying to read this book, dying to know what happened between the two of them. That cliffhanger on the last book almost broke me! Found out so much information that I was still trying to piece everything together before diving into his amazing book.
When Dag finally found her, it couldn’t have come at a better time, I was so worried for her. I hated how it took her so long to accept that Dag wasn’t going to leave her and that no one was going to hate her for what she had to do while she was being held captive by the Desperados. I hate that she ran again too, I was fearful for her while she was trying to run but there was Dag again to save her.
I’m glad that Esmeralda was able to start healing and that Dag was so dedicated to helping her move forward from everything. When she started to realize that the Elementals are nothing like the Desperados is when she truly started to heal from her abuse. Her willingness to help the men find the other women and piece together more of the puzzle was amazing, I’m so glad that she stopped being fearful about her past and started to move on from that.
Truly another great read for the Elementals CT MC, can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. I know it’s going to be just as good!

Love this series
I have been following the Elemental MC since Wulf! This book is as enjoyable as all the rest. I wanted to see more of a connection in the character of Esmerelda. Dag was smitten and alpha as all of the rest. I am looking forward to Tor finding his mate…eventually. I especially love the intrigue story line that has spanned across both series.
If you are looking for extremely enjoyable relatively quick reads, any Alexei Ferrara story will fit the bill. This has become one of my favorite authors.

Love is Amazing!
I was very pleased to start reading this book! I’m not usually interested in paranormal romance without a human lead, but this one is really good. Esmeralda and Dag’s love is simply amazing. He loves her so much and I’m glad she was able to overcome her past to love him back, completely!

I loved everything about this book it brings true meaning to the fact that love is never easy and isn't a walk in the park I am hooked on the characters in this book I am looking forward to finding out what happens next

Couldn’t put it down
An absolute must read. Dag & Esmerelda have an easier story than most. This series is so awesome that I never want it to end.

Dag is the 3rd book the the Elemental's CT MC. Like all of this authors stories in this series, it grabbed you from the first page and refused to let go. Esmeralda has been physically and mentally abused and does not trust anyone. The way Dag and the Other Elementals treated her won her over and it was so sweet to see her blossom with them. I have read all of Alexi's books and you cannot go wrong with any you choose. The Original Elementals series was so good and this spin off series is proving to be just as good! Pick up this book and fall in love with the characters that this author has brought to life.

Short and Sweet
OMG... Hot and downright dirty. Love it. Esmeralda is a perfect mate for Dag. Very short story, and it lived up to every imaginable fantasy I love reading about. Such a sweet story.

Esmeralda was a gifted lady but has only known pain and suffering in her life. Dag knew the minute he saw her picture she was his mate. Esmeralda has been running from her captors surviving day to day . Dag has been serching for her. When she is close to getting caught Dag saves her. but... she cannot trust anyone she has only known pain ,never had friends and spent so much time alone . Can she learn to trust him? Will he still want her after he realises she is scarred for life? Can they ever be together ? This is the third book in this chapter of elementals and so far brilliant looking forward to next book ..thank you Alexi.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a little longer than I like to read, but I really enjoyed it, I'm going to have to finish the series which I'm working on.
Dag and Esmeralda when he goes looking for her. When Dag sees Esmeralda's picture he knows that she is his mate, but she is running. Esmeralda is running from a rival gang and she wants to run from the Elementals since she doesn't know who they are. Dag searches for Esmeralda day and night, when he gets close to her he can hear her and they communicate. Dag knows that Esmeralda has been through a lot, so he is patient with her. When Dag is out looking for Esmeralda he can hear her calling for help, so he asks her where she is. Esmeralda is slapped, and abused they break her wrist. When Dag gets to her he saves her from the men who were going to take her to be killed. Dag takes Esmeralda back to the compound where she is introduced to Anastasia Ulrich and Freya Dane who helps her get cleaned up. Esmeralda doesn't want to leave Dag's room so Anastasia and Freya always bring her food. Dag knows he must make the connection with his mate but he also knows she doesn't trust him. Dag tries to leave Esmeralda alone but then someone tells him that maybe he needs to communicate with her so that she can see his intentions. Esmeralda can hear when someone is near, she hears what the others say. Esmeralda needs to leave the Elementals MC she doesn't want to be the reason they are at war with the rival gang. Esmeralda goes on a walk around the property with Anastasia and Freya getting to know where she can make her escape. Esmeralda leaves after Dag goes out with this MC brothers, it's the perfect time when no one is around. Esmeralda waits until she can hear that everyone is asleep, expect the one watching over the compound. Esmeralda climbs the walls and jumps over getting bruised in the process. When Esmeralda gets to town she finds the gazebo where she spotting a hiding place under. All Esmeralda can do is think about Dag, he has engulfed her mind. When Dag gets back to the compound he senses that Esmeralda isn't there but he must see for himself. When Dag gets to his room he finds her gone with her things. Dag goes out searching for Esmeralda the next day she climbs out from under the gazebo not realizing it's the middle of the day. When Esmeralda steps into the light she sees Dag watching over her, she questions how she couldn't sense he was there. Dag picks up Esmeralda and takes her back to the compound. Dag is to upset with her to accompany her inside, so he heads to the water. When Dag is told that Tor is inside he knows that he will be questioning Esmeralda. When Esmeralda gets to Dag's room Anastasia and Freya are there to help her get into a bath. Esmeralda knows that Dag is upset with her, when he comes into the room she tries to explain. Dag lets Esmeralda talk, but then she goes to her knees and pleasures him. Dag lifts Esmeralda off the floor and they make love. Dag gives Esmeralda his Jade stone to wear and protect her around her neck, but she tells him she doesn't want it if it's for what she just did for him. Dag explains to Esmeralda that she is his and this necklace with protect her. Esmeralda listens her mind is never quiet, she can hear the guards walking around, but when everything is quiet she hears something different. Esmeralda wakes Dag to tell him that there are intruders two humans have come into the compound. Dag tries to hear but he can't, so he wakes up the other Elementals. They all head out to take care of the intruders who came onto their property. Dag finds out that Sean sent them to go after Esmeralda. Their lives are ended when they give up the information that is needed. When Dag comes back into his bedroom he finds Esmeralda in the bath, she explains to him that it quits the noise so she can't hear. Dag takes Esmeralda to bed, and she sleeps peacefully with him by her side. The following morning when Esmeralda wakes Dag is gone, but Freya comes knocking on her door to bring her breakfast, for the first time Esmeralda tells her she will eat with everyone else. Dag and his MC brothers head out to Sean's house to find him. They have much more information on what has been happening to the woman that are being abducted for their abilities. After they enter Sean's home Dag gets into a fight with one of the soldiers standing guard who has super strength but it's no match for him. When Dag finds Tor he finds out that Sean entered his safe room. Dag tries to get him to come out but he doesn't so he takes the walls down. Dag gets to Sean, but he gives them more information for his life. Dag lets Sean talk, he'll take all the information he can get, but then in the end kills him for what his did to his mate, Esmeralda. Esmeralda goes outside waiting on the men to return while she is talking to Freya and Anastasia she holds her necklace in her hand. Soon Esmeralda realizes that the necklace brings her peace when she holds it, she cannot hear her surroundings. When Dag comes back he finds members of their father chapter at the compound. Dag finds them talking to Esmeralda, who offers t help find the missing woman. Dag doesn't want her to but Esmeralda insists it'll bring her peace if she can help. Dag takes Esmeralda to his room to get cleaned up then they all head to church. Esmeralda is questioned and helps out as much as she can, she wants to find these woman alive. When Dag realizes that Esmeralda has had enough he puts a stop to it and tells everyone he is taking his mate to bed. Esmeralda thanks Dag for all he has done for her, she never knew life could be like this. Esmeralda tells him she loves him and Dag tells her he loves her. Wow and Wow!!! I was waiting for this one and once again was blown away. I love Dag and Esmeralda, they are now one of my favorite Elemental couples and frankly all these couples are favorites but their love story just had a bit more angst which is what made it so perfect. Wulf (book 1 from the Nature Valley Elementals Chapter) will always be my favorite hero and I think I just found my favorite heroine in Esmeralda although Nova (Ceric Book 4 Elementals MC) is still a up there...lol. As with all of Ms. Ferreira novels, its not one you will be able to put down until the last page. If you have read her books you know what I mean, if you have not, then its about time you did, just pick any novel of hers, you can't go wrong. Her novels are jam packed with Romance and Adventure and a real sense of family in the MC's brotherhood. Not to mention a Hot AF Alpha and Bad Ass Heroines, who are the only ones that can "tame" their Alpha. Her books are the ones that you just wish you could be part of. They also provide a sweet escape from all that is going on currently in our world. As always...Thanks again Ms. Ferreira for another wonderful read...looking forward to your next book.

Dag is very protective of his Mate . Love how all the Elementals are very protective and loving with their mate . Enjoy reading more about Cape Town .the others .
Love how Alexi brings in Previous Elementals . Nice to know how others were doing.

Another enjoyable read from the amazing Alexi Ferreira. Esmeralda has finally stopped running to give whatever is happening between her and Dag a chance. While they're doing that they're also fighting the bad guys, they're never far from each other's thoughts, going after the Elemental’s woman is a death sentence which they're happy to administrator, great job author Alexi Ferreira🖤💛🖤

An amazing read and a fantastic addition to the series. Dag and Esmeralda are quite the pair. They go through a lot to get to their ending but for them anything is possible as long as they're together. The twists and turns, ups and downs add to this story in such a way that you'll be pulled in and hooked from the beginning.

Every mate they find brings more and more power to the Elementals. I bet Dag will start honing his skills more, now he realizes what Esmeralda can do. She is much more so important given what her powers are and what she can detect. Lets see who is next and who else they face.

At this point I'm really reading this for the underlying ot if the mc.i love my romance but I can only take so much mushy protective I love yous before its annoying lol
