What Readers are saying about Izzy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend all her books, everyone always leaves me eagerly awaiting the next one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I LOVED this story ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A fast-paced, stunning, romantic comedy full of loss, love, hope and finding yourself. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Inishbeg Cove is a stunning, close-knit community. It is a place where you feel you belong. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely a brilliant read.
Penny Murphy left Inishbeg Cove as a teenager and hasn’t looked back since, so even she cannot believe it, when after an argument with her husband, she finds herself living back with her ageing parents, staying in her childhood bedroom. Meanwhile after leaving America to relocate to Inishbeg Cove, Greg and Sarah are about to get married. It seems life couldn’t get any better for the happy couple until a shock discovery leaves them both worried for the future. With the ties that bind Penny to her husband seemingly irreparably broken, she is at her lowest ebb until she unexpectedly bumps into her first love, Tadgh and it seems the fire between them never died. But just as she’s beginning to feel hopeful for the future, reality calls and Penny has some tough choices to make. When a storm rolls in from the wild Atlantic, tensions run high and the only thing that’s certain, is nothing will ever be the same again. Will Penny work out where her heart truly belongs? And can Sarah and Greg get the happy-ever-after they have always dreamed about? A romantic, heart-warming novel set along Ireland’s west coast, about the meaning of home and the importance of finding a place where you truly belong.
Izzy Bayliss lives in Ireland with her husband, children and their dog. A romantic at heart, she loves nothing more than cosying up in front of the fire with a good book. Her motto is that reality is over-rated and she is happiest staring into space and day-dreaming.

As a coastal lover, I especially loved your description of the seas through your eyes, and the love of the dedicated people who live in this magical place.
Characters are wonderfully real and relatable. So many characters to yet explore and I need more about all the characters already presented. Keep writing about Inishbeg Cove, Izzy! I know it's not a real place but it's where I want to be!
The 2nd book in this fabulous series set on the West coast of Ireland.
Penny escaped Inishbeg Cove when she was a teenager, and now, at 30, having married an Artist and had a daughter, Lucy who was 3, thought she was happy in Dublin. Things are going wrong between her and Joe, so she takes Lucy, and goes home to the Cove to stay with her parents for a short holiday. Will things improve between her and Joe after this?
Tadgh was Penny's first love, but after a tragedy, his plans of college at 18 fell by the wayside and he had to raise his 6 year old brother. Now a successful restaurateur, he's surprised to see Penny on the beach one day with her daughter. Can they be just friends?
The book also continues Sarah and Greg's story from the first book.
A great book which is very hard to put down, the story captivated me.
The books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and series.
I've already downloaded the 3rd book ready to read!
Thank goodness there’s a book 2! Penny and Sarah is who you’ll meet. Tadgh is Penny’s dating friend in high school and they reconnect as “just friends” shortly after she arrives in Inishberg Cove. Greg, an American, is Sarah’s husband and bought a shop he turned into a candy store. Penny has had yet another fight with her mercurial husband Joe, and she drives from Dublin with her 3-year-old daughter Lucy to Inishbeg Cove to stay with her “Mam” and Dad. Sarah, who’s 41, finds out she’s pregnant and wakes up every day worried about what might go wrong with her baby, while her hubby remains oh-so-positive about them having a child. A storm is brewing in the Atlantic, which matches the storms brewing in Penny’s and Sarah’s relationships. What will happen next? Stay tuned…
Book two I think it's been a year or nearly two since Greg came to the small town.you follow two women in this book Sarah and a woman who left at 18 got married had a child her husband Joe is selfish and not kind, she returns home with her three year old for the summer.I liked her but it was clear she didn't like Joe much but she lets him control her, I found it frustrating she is ment to be strong and independent? The ending happened very fast.like ok this book is done.
I read the 1st and 2nd, one right after the other and I can’t tell you how great they both made my heart feel! Please tell me this series won’t end! I loved them both!
I love stories that take place in Ireland. Mave Binchie was and still is one of my favorite authors of life in Ireland as is Jean Grainger. I feel that Izzy Bayliss is right there with them.
Another great story about the wonderful people of Ireland.
I am truly in love with all things Irish. In today's uncertain climate and social upheaval. Stories like this are like a breath of fresh air. It is stories like this about gentle people that warm my heart.
This is the second book in the Inish eg Cove series. I love feeding about the characters in small villages. Will start #3 and hope she ties up the ending.
Such realistic characters that you don't want the story to end. I love the setting of the west coast of Ireland. Just close your eyes and you're there. Beautifully written with a great edit job! This series is worth experiencing!
Full of twists and turns. A good romantic family based story. Made me want to find a small coastal village in Ireland to move to. Can't wait for the next one in the serirs.
It's a great book you can just picture the village so vividly. The stories of the individual characters just makes you keep on turning the pages until the end. Then you can't wait until you start the next book.
Such a well-written story of two men and two ladies meant to be together and their trials and tribulations to live their lives in a tiny seaside Irish village. It's a wonderful story that anyone will enjoy to the fullest. The ending is as it should be.
I loved following Penny and continuing with Sarah and Greg's story. I can't wait for book 3. I'm wondering, who's next? I hope to see things get better now that we jumped this hurdle.
I loved this story! Book 2 of the series. I love the characters and the whole small village feel. Inishbeg Cove sounds like a place I would want to live.
