See You Never

Rate this book
Ember Johnson is finally living the life she’s always wanted. She has a great job, a new house, a loyal best friend, a loving mother, and the only thing missing is someone special to share it all with.

Sawyer Christensen was Ember’s high school sweetheart, and quite frankly, she hasn’t loved anyone since. He was her first love, but with big love, comes big heartbreak.

Ace Cooper is a successful business owner, running many of the restaurants and bars in town. He is an attractive man who has never had a problem getting a woman’s attention. He hardly thinks about settling down, at least not until he lays eyes on the beautiful woman passed out in his bar.

Ace can’t be more mesmerized by Ember. Everything about her fascinates him. But Ember believes she is only average, having experienced very little attention from men in the past to build up her confidence. Their mutual attraction is hard to ignore. Ace could be the one thing missing from Ember’s life. She may be the one thing Ace didn’t know he needed. They could be happy together, if only Sawyer will let them.

Wow! Delaney Lynn is a debut novelist that is running with the best of them. At first glance, the reader thinks they are going on a romantic journey where ex lovers, Ember and Sawyer, set out to rekindle an old flame. However, the trajectory of this love story takes a drastic turn when heart throb, Ace Cooper enters the scene. As readers, we all know that love triangles almost never work...but just how unpredictable will these twists and turns be? I invite you to buckle up and find out for yourself.

Honestly, when you first start reading this book, You think you’re about to jump in to two high school sweethearts that are going to fall back in love and spend happily ever after together. You learn that Ember is moving back to her hometown and teaching at a university nearby. When she moves into her new house and turns around her ex-boyfriend Sawyer is there to meet her. You can feel their past the moment they make eye contact. Eventually, you get Sawyer’s point of view after being in Embers, and you realize where this book is going to turn and let me tell you it turns FAST. Ember meets a charming man, Ace, while out to forget about Sawyer and we take another turn. How far will Sawyer go in order to have Ember all to himself? Why do we feel like we have two stories about love at first site!

I read this book in a day and it was a very good fast read! the turns were amazing and it all came together in such a smooth , heart pulling way! Delaney did an amazing job and so happy I could support her for a GREAT READ!

Read this book so fast - it was an easy book to not want to put down. This is a new author and she killed it with her first novel.

Romance, stalkers and twists. I loved it all. Now I'm just hanging on the edge of my seat to see if Delaney will create another novel so I can see what ends up happening to Ember!!!!! If you're looking for a quick romance/ thriller this is a great book, or if you're new to the genre this is an easy read.

This book did an amazing job keeping you engaged and not wanting to put it down. It switches between the three main characters at the best times and overall is a great fast paced read. It’s a good mix of thrill and spice. 10/10 recommend.

She and him dated for six yrs and he gets caught with another girl. She moves and proceeds with her life. All of the sudden he reappears in her life.
She meets a new interest and she n him have great chemistry. It is so good. Her ex tried to mess up the connection between them. It was so good.

The end of the book makes you wonder what happened next

Very well done. Congratulations on your first book! I was shockingly surprised and loved the suspense. While I am not typically a romance novel fan, I did enjoy this one.

I found myself wanting to read more and more of it and not wanting to put it down! I was hooked from the beginning, but after the first plot twist, my head was spinning! So, so good. A daring read! Ember takes you on a journey you’d never want to go on, but can’t stop following. There is a perfect amount of steamy romance mixed in with suspenseful drama. I was constantly on the edge of my seat, piecing together bits of the storyline. What a great first novel from Delaney Lynn. You won’t regret picking up this suspenseful romance! I can’t wait for a sequel to see where Ember’s story takes them...

Delaney Lynn is a new author, so I will say her book was good for a first book. There were some grammatical and spelling errors that her editing team did not catch. As far as the book itself, I thought it was steamy and had a god story line. It did have a few repetitions that I hope she will avoid in the future.

I was so excited to read Delaney’s first novel. It was so spicy and a true whirl wind - I flew through each chapter. It had great cliffhangers that kept me invested and made it impossible to put the book down! I had a feeling Sawyer was bad news within the first few chapters and loved the way this book played out!

Read this if you enjoyed K.A. Tuckers “Ten Little Breaths” series!

Meh. I found myself skimming parts. A)so much sex. I feel like any more than 3 sex scenes are just fillers. B) the author repeated the storyline trying to toggle between the characters. I already know what happens and what was said. Skim.

The book did keep me engaged and I read in a short two days. But not a book I would recommend to someone right off the bat

😳

Finished this one the same day I started it, couldn't put it down, there were some revolting parts, some smut, definitely kept me hooked it went between characters telling their POV so a bit repetitive but over all a great read 📚

I will admit I initially downloaded this book simply to support a young local author and friend of my hairstylist. I didn’t have huge expectations but wow it was really good! Delaney has a very bright future as an author.

This book moved at the speed of light, jumped back in time when switching to other points of view, causing multiple retellings, and had an immediate love plot. It's not my type of book.

Highly recommended! Read this one out in one sitting. As other readers have already commented: not at all the traditional romance, full of twists and turns. Nice writing style. Loved H. Only small point of criticism: a bit too hasting ending. But I really don't understand why this book doesn't have more readers. Don't hesitate to pick this one up.
