Kira has one rule in life and that’s no dating military men. Mira moved to Wylder Mountain three years ago after her beloved grandmother died, leaving her with a florist business. She embraced the change and has loved living in the small town, one of the only things missing is someone to love and recently having watched her friends find love she’s more aware of her single status than ever before. So when Rowen calls in to the florists she smitten immediately only to discover that he is there to buy flowers on his way to a blind date. Things could never work out between them especially when it turns out he is just the type of man she ruled out but when he comes back to her shop telling her she is the woman of his dreams should she break the rules just once and see where her heart leads?
Rowen is on leave from the military, it’s coming time for him to make the ultimate decision, whether he is going to re enlist or leave for good. That’s why he agreed to a blind date set up by his friend Talon, on his way he stops by a local florist shop only to discover the woman of his dreams has been so close for so long but he is a man of his word and knows he needs to at least tell the woman he was meeting that he’s off the market. The date is a washout after that but it means he is free to go claim his woman. But when she tells him of her dating rule can he get her to at least give them a chance and lead him to make the only decision he needs to?
I am relatively new to this authors work but I am enjoying her writing and couldn’t help but adore both the main characters. I choose short books so I can read them easily during a lunch break at work and he’d books are perfect reading material. Great read with lots of cuteness and a little steam. 3.8*

This is a good new "Wylder Mountain Heroes" story about Kira and Rowen. Just like the other stand alone reads this one features a hero and the women he falls hard and fast for. It's a very short and quick read with instant attraction and pretty much instant love. Rowen got burned by romance with a Dear John letter so he doesn't date. That is until his friend sets him up on a blind coffee date. Kira works hard in her florist. These two meet and the flame burn and sparks fly. However, he is military and she doesn't date military men. This a cute and sweet over the top romance.

This was so enjoyable and I love how Rowen owns up to his feelings and doesn't lead anyone else on once he meets Kira. It's sweet. Their chemistry is palpable and I love that there is no wasting time. It's a short, feel-good romance perfect for decompressing.

This story was sweet, romantic, steamy and safe as well. Rowen and Kira met and fell instantly in love at first sight. The hot older army Sargeant and his soulmate.😍😍😍 A sweet story with a great HEA and sweet characters 👍👍

Sergeant Sexpot - tall, dark and hot!
Rowen is the eleventh book in the Wylder Mountain Heroes series and is the story of Kira and Rowen. Kira moved to Wylder Mountain two years ago after inheriting her grandmother's florist shop in town. She may only be twenty-four but she has been working hard to make the shop successful and also getting to know everyone and everything about the community. She also made a new best friend in Autumn, who is married to Talon. Rowen is in the Army and is friends with and works with Talon. He is also a man who has not had success with having a relationship since his first deployment. He thought he was going to come home to the woman that would become his wife but instead he got a "Dear John" email. Since then he does not date or become involved with anyone as he does not want the same thing to happen again. But Talon has set Rowen up on a blind date and on the way made him stop at the local florist to pick up some flowers. Thus Rowen walks into Kira's shop and there are more sparks flying between them than a welder. Sure he has to go on this coffee date and yep he has Kira make just the right bouquet for said date...but that does not mean that either of them are happy about it. Things take an interesting turn when Rowen is the stand-up guy that he is and ends up being truthful with his blind date.....he has just met the woman that he knows is meant to be his wife and here are your flowers. The only problem is that Rowen quickly finds out that Kira has a policy to never date or become involved with a military man. After all she has see one to often what happens when a military man does not come home from a deployment, she has to do the flowers for all the sad occasions of the town also. But Rowen will not let her run away from him so quickly and sets out on a plan to show Kira just how much they are meant to be together....and that he will do anything to have her in his life.
This is a lovely and entertaining story which I enjoyed a lot. I really loved how upstanding Rowen was and how he was absolutely positive they were meant to be together. The story has some drama, laughs, romance, sizzling chemistry and more.

Rowen had spent sixteen years in the military, but he was ready to settle down and have a family, only dating was not going well for him. One of his buddies, Talon set him up on a blind date sending him by the flower shop first to pick up flowers for his date. At the flower shop, he met the owner, Kier who had moved to Wylder Bluffs three years previously to take over the business, after her grandmother passed. The moment Rowen walked into the shop and set eyes on Kier he knew he had meet his one. His only problem was the blind date a head of him. It was to late to call it off. He would have to go and be honest with her and get back to Kier as soon as possible. Kier did not date active military men, because there was to big of a chance they would not come home alive. Rowen had his plan in place, but would the extremely charged attraction between them be enough to change Kier's mind into giving them a chance at a happily ever after. This was a really fun book to read with some humor.

Autumn's other half Talon has been trying to set Rowen up on blind dates. In preparation for one of those dates, he goes to the florist to choose some flowers, and upon seeing Kira, is totally enamoured - and the feeling is mutual but she has a rule about not dating men in the military... uh-oh! He does the right thing by going to tell his would be date that he's interested in someone else. Of course she's still peeved about it, but will hopefully leave him be.
How will Rowen pursue Kira? And will he be able to by-pass her strict dating rule? What eventuates is a fun, flirty, sweet and passionate journey of following your heart. Its an entertaining and light-hearted read that leaves you wanting more from these characters! But then again, I always look forward to reading whatever this author has cooking! I give this book four and a half stars.

The eleventh installment of Tarin Lex's wonderful Wylder Mountain Heroes series is Rowen, an original steamy and sweet instalove romance. Kira and Rowen's meet-cute is so awesome - he heads into her flower shop to buy flowers for the blind date his best friend Talon set up for him. The moment he lays eyes on the beautiful, young curvy florist, Rowen wishes he was not on his way to meet another woman; Kira is instantly smitten with the older, army sergeant, despite her rule against dating military men. This is a definite case of swoon-worthy instalove, and I cannot recommend it enough. This whole series is excellent and wonderfully written, but the pairing of Rowen and Kira is definitely my favourite thus far!

Rowen is looking for something nice for a blind date when he enters Kira's florist shop. When these 2 meet it's an instant connection. The timing isn't good. And Kira's decision not to date military men is another obstacle for Rowen to overcome. But he is a determined and patient man who knows what he wants. What will it take for the funny, honest, curvy young Kira to give him a chance? This story is very entertaining! It's short, funny and romantic with a steady level of sizzle to tie it all together. Told in dual POV, the motivations are clear and the dialogue is realistic. Conflicts are handled quickly and maturely. "Rowen" is a pleasurable read in this series about small town mountain man heroes that will have you smiling from beginning to end!

Rowan is a fun story to get lost in. Rowan is in the military and is not around town much. This is a really short story that is insta love. These two are instantly attracted to each other, but of course can't do anything about it at the exact moment. Rowen has to take care of something before he can go and tell Kira how he feels. She doesn't want him because he is active duty. Rowen will have to do some smooth talking to get her to agree to go on a date with him for the reason of his job. She agrees to coffee and to talk. They find out they both have a lot in common and things just flow easily with them both. Can Rowen convince Kira that just because of his job is no reason to not be with him?

Kira is a bubbly, positive, curvy, sweet woman who owns a flower shop. Rowen is at the flower shop to get some flowers for a blind date. Once he sees Kira and talks with her, he knows he has found “the one”. He is tormented by having to go through with the blind date when he knows his future is with Kira. Rowen is a good guy, military man. What is going to happen? Will he go on the date? Will he ask Kira out? Kira doesn’t date military men. This is a funny, entertaining, enjoyable read. The characters are so down-to-earth, likable/lovable and just so sweet. It is a definite feel good romance. Great read.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Rowen is the eleventh book in the ‘’Wylder mountain heroes’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Kira is a small town florist. When Rowen comes into her shop she instantly has a crush but will they give love a chance?
The chemistry between Rowen and Kira is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Kira is the sweet florist with a heart of gold ... she knows and cares about everyone in her town. Rowen is a military man who is about to go out on a blind date... but when he steps into her flower shop to buy his blind date some flowers, he knows he`s found his love. Kira feels it too, but she has rules that she abides to, and she´s not sure whe wants to take a chance. Their story is so sweet and charming... it´s sweet and sexy insta-love thru and thru. This is a short, sweet, fun read with no drama and cute HEA to warm your heart!

Pretty sure this book gave me goose bumps, made me tear up, made me giggle, sigh, swoon and have ALL of the other feels. I’ve enjoyed all of the other stories about the folks in the Wylder Bluffs...but Rowen and Kira are this magical couple that Tarin Alex has done such an incredible job creating. I mean, seriously, to feel so many emotions over characters In a short book like this is great writing! LOVED IT!

His best buddy sets him up on a blind date that je reluctantly decides to go on against his rules. He stops into the flower shop and is blown away by Kira and she him. Love at first sight in a flower shop! This is about Kira and Rowen. Rowen was set up on a blind date and while he went to do the gentlemanly thing which is to show up with flowers, he never expected to meet the love of his life. Kira on the other hand, does not want to date a military man because of the fear that he will not return to her. This book has its funny moments as Rowen is determined to have Kira give him the shot that they both need to have a HEA.

Kira is the owner of a flower shop in town and she knows everyone. When Rowen comes in to get flowers for his blind date he’s blown away by the beauty and connection he has with her instantly. I loved every moment of this book and the way he canceled his blind date to go back to Kira makes anyone’s heart swoon. Definitely a book you’re not going to want to miss out on.

Love at first sight for Rowen when he meets Kira. I liked how they meet, definitely one for the books in creativity. Nice in how calm Rowen is and very forgiving towards his blind date and her hysterical reaction. Thoroughly enjoyed in his persistence and making Kira see his true feelings and his plans towards their relationship.

Rowen stops by the towns flower shop to pick up some flowers for his blind date. He knows that the blind date isn't his ever after even though he hasn't met her. When Rowen looks at Kira, the flower shop owner, he knows she is the one. Kira doesn't date military men but maybe there is an exception with Rowen. "Rowen" is a short and hot fast read of insta love. This is book #11 of the "Wylder Mountain Heroes" series. Enjoy!
