The caveat about reading for a living (or part of it, anyway) is that sometimes you end up reading way outside your preferred genres. This actually was much better than I was anticipating, and I really appreciate the positive depiction of sex work, even if it's well outside of the realm of anything realistic. It's also kind of a breezy take on the now-ubiquitous isekai genre - Yuzuki does have a route home to Ikebukuro: she has to, shall we say, service specific species or people in the book given to her by the sage who summoned her. Since she's totally fine with that, it's not at all sleazy in context, and overall this is quite lighthearted. It definitely starts to falter in the second half (so I'm rounding down from a 2.5 rather than up), but if you're looking for the female-centric answer to Interspecies Reviewers, this is it.

This was quite interesting. This was recommended on YouTube by someone and I had to try it. My curiosity got the best of me. The arts decent. The characters are interesting. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is quite funny. I enjoyed it and will continue with the series.

A call girl from earth now lives in another world but here is a catch, she is able to communicate with earth, order stuff there and magically get it here, use her cell phone, and some other things. That really made things fun and added something extra to it. She needs to satisfy a list of creatures/guys before she can go back home. Yes, it was at times a bit confusing given that we have no idea how she ended up here in the first place, but I am sure one day we get a backstory!
There is TONS of sexy times. She is a call girl after all and she likes to do a lot of fun service to her clients (she learned a lot on earth). I love that she has two sides, a very sexy one when at work and a more normal/glasses-wearing one when on her off days/hunting for guys.
And the snake girl (or boy, teehee) was a fun addition, plus the other characters we meet are fun as well! Need to read on!

okay this was like the cute and wholesome (smut) counterpart to jk haru, which is another isekai with a darker and more realistic look into sex work. yuzuki has to pleasure different kinds of beings to 'check' them off her enchanted grimoire's list, and then she can go home! it's very lighthearted, rather silly at parts, and a lot more fun than I was expecting. the demon king was definitely my favorite XD

Call Girl in Another World is both exactly what it says on the cover, and so much more.

I’ve read the whole series now. It's cute. It's hilarious. The world building is excellent. The story gets better and better with each chapter. It delightfully subverts some of the usual isekai tropes. There is tastefully censored sex, yes, but often treated comically and positively for everyone. After getting through Vol 3, I happily recommended it to my wife (and now all of you).

The series is maybe a bit TOO rosy and optimistic about sex work. I'm not saying every story needs to tackle all the heavy and complicated topics, sometimes one wants light, fun fantasy. I am specifically happy for this series to be so sex positive and fun. But I would have liked to see an occasional acknowledgement of moments that could be unpleasant or even dangerous. I hope certain readers won't take for granted the ways that real life is messy and complicated.

One negative I'll call out: there are a couple of moments of dubious consent that are treated as “okay” because “men always want and appreciate sex.” It isn’t that the series has a ton of those moments, but it is worth giving a trigger warning for anyone who may need it.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed reading this manga, since I’m usually very picky when it comes to more ecchi material.
All of the sexual encounters were light-hearted and Yuzuki seems like a very caring girl when it comes to her clients and it’s amusing to see how enthusiastic she can get. I’m curious to see how things go in the next volume with a rival brothel being introduced in the last chapter.
