It’s just another extravagant day in the life of Blair Quinn.

While there is an entertaining story in these books, you would think that by book 11 the author would get an editor. Grammar needs to be deciphered, pronoun errors, time line issues, and she suddenly forgot her characters name was Wei and started calling him Kai! If the books weren’t free, I wouldn’t have read this far. Definitely going for quantity over quality.
Great story continues, Completely missing proofreading
I really love the entire series story-wise, but the typos get worse with every new volume. This one was so bad it was downright distracting. Every page has a flaw. Some sentences don't even make sense. One character's name has completely changed unintentionally. What is going on?? If this continues I will have to give up on this series.
She's a great story teller. I enjoy her characters and it's not getting boring and I'm on book 11. However, books 4 and 5 are both called the puzzle, Wei is changed to Kai at some point, lots of typos (its shuddered, not shuttered). Overall, I'm recommending her. But girl, get yourself an editor. Xx
POV: single HUMOR: yes F BOMBS: yes CLIFFHANGER: yes NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: no TRIGGERS: suicide, severed head
Books must be read in order in this series.
This one gives us a closer look into the relationship between Sophia and Felix, as well as giving Blair and her last harem mate more intimate time together and parts where fate stepped in. The biggest event is Blair meeting her mysterious father. A surprise guest from Blair's past shows up as well.
ARC version had plenty of typos and didn't have as much humor as the previous ones. There was also a lot going on and sometimes it was so sudden I had to go back to re-read it before catching on - but it also kept the book from getting boring.
This one was definitely more scattered / chaotic, but still a good story and characters. Unexpected turn of events for the cliffhanger.

The spelling mistakes were a bit fewer but the plot thickened more and more as I read. Blair's papas are full of intrigue and mystery. I will never understand why everyone is keeping the details of significant events in the dark. Without the shared knowledge, noting will get done. But I do suppose that is what people do. The hide their dirty laundry until it is forced into the light. Real but oh so very frustrating for the people that need the info. The boyfriends are all coming together, but i am still unsure why one is still human and not dead or a vamp like the others. It was in the prophesy, so maybe he dies to protect her? No answers yet. What we do know id what Felix can do and what his relationship with Sophia is. All I can say is how can he still love his mother and go along with her crap? What is binding him to this agreement? So many questions, but it is good there are many more books to go.
3.5 stars - I found this book to be an interesting and sometimes confusing set of stories that intertwined with each other. It is part of a series, so figuring out the first part took a little work since I had not read the story before this one. It ends on a cliff hanger, which I don't like. The plots and characters were quite nicely developed and the world building detailed. There were a lot of issues with the writing, such as "into a spare of silver heals" which I believe should have been "a pair of silver heals" since the woman was putting on silver shoes. Several times I had to reread a paragraph or two to figure out these weird writing issues. Not a bad story, but it needs to be cleaned up.

Another 3 stars for this book series. The grammatical errors were slightly better than the previous books but at times the story gets extremely hard to follow and you end up having to reread the same page a few times to try understand what has happened.
Also some glaring errors in continuation from the earlier books about Lorena. This books stated that Sofia gifted a potion to Alan and Lorena to grow back his hair, this wasn’t the case as it was Lorena’s power over the dead that allowed her to will his hair back to its former glory. The original story was clearly meant to show the extent of Lorena’s power growth and her ability but it was thrown away for a side story that did not have any impact or importance to this book.
In general I am having a hard time liking this storyline because Blair and her decisions seem to just annoy me.
I'm enjoying the "stories" of all the books I've read this far. The various plots with their twists and turns keep you engaged. Kudos to the author. The only problem I have is the grammer/language mistakes in the books. It feels like someone read the story into Kindle and at times didn't understand the correct word and substituted an incorrect word. I think this is happening more as I get further into the series. It's becoming very distracting. I don't know if this is a "Kindle problem" but it needs to be corrected especially since people are paying to read these books. It's becoming a big turnoff. A human proofreader is definetly needed and corrections made.
Who is the false king? Blair has her men but can she fully trust Dominic. She meets her birth father for the first time but can she trust him. Her mom always said he as a bad man and if he’s vampire why doesn’t she have vampire blood? Is he really her father? And her beloved step father Leo, who she thought was dead is alive and has been looking for Raphael her birth father. Who can she trust? Is one of them the false King who she and her men have to save the world from, or is it someone else? The ending of this book was such a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to find out what happens.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
From the beginning I have been thoroughly engrossed in this series and look forward to each book. While the storyline is great and the books move at a fast pace, I am very disappointed with the quality of editing. There are numerous grammatically errors, sometimes the wrong character's name has been used, and in one book it referenced the Salem witch trials, saying they took place in 1962 when it should have been 1692. While I am not familiar with the process of getting an ebook published, some of these were glaring errors which never should have made it past the editing process. While I enjoy the stories, the errors are very distracting.
The first book of this series was good. I enjoyed the authors sense of humor and the fact that, although it was about witches and vampires, it was portrayed by the main character as comical and light. Starting with the 2nd book, the errors started showing up. Most of the errors were not misspelled, just the wrong word entirely. In Book 11, I went back to see how many annotations I had made for each mistake. 28 wrong words in one book. There were also a couple of complete sentences that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I think either the author has no Beta readers, or she and the "editors" are tripping balls. Very frustrating to the point that I won't finish the series.
This book takes Blair in an emotional adventure. She is dealing with her feelings for Dominic and the desire to kill him so she can be free from him, her daddy issues and her actual dad, and of course the fact that Milo and the others are still trying to kill her. I truly enjoy this series and this is another great book in it.

I love this series. This time we are picking up where the last book left off. Blair finally meets her biological father (or is he?). I enjoyed it up until we see Blair cousin again and her husbands. Which bring me to, who the heck is Kia??? Where is Wei? Up until thus book More ma's husbands are Zane, Ewan, Alan, Dimitri, Sirius and Wei. But other than the confusion there, it was still good.
I've read the series from the start, but the amount of grammatical errors keep getting worse every book. Wrong words were used so frequently that I couldn't even figure out what some sentences were trying to say. I'm not even sure that whoever wrote this (assuming a ghost writer) had even read the first books as they call one of Lorena's boyfriends Kai. This book and series needs an editor.
The storyline is great, but my biggest problem has been the editing. I am pretty sure one of Lorena's husbands is Wei. In this book, he is called Kai. So many words have been edited wrong. For instance- he crossed both of his lefts. I'm pretty sure it should be legs. I'm not an author and wouldn't pretend to know everything, but if stuff like that bothers you to the point it ruins the book for you, I would suggest that you not read these books.
While I'm enjoying the storyline, I'm disappointed in the actual writing.
Many errors in wording, I have to stop and reread to understand what is being said.
I'm one to start a series from the beginning and read through each one, however, with each new book, it's very repetitive and I find it frustrating and have to skim over to get to the next point.
The past few books have been full of errors an editor should have caught and corrected. It detracts from the story. You have to continually try to figure out what word or phrase was actually supposed to be in some parts of sentences. This is unfortunate. It feels as if the first few books in the series were written. Then the rest have been done using voice recognition software that just isn't working. Or a 10th grader is writing a college level novel.
This is an enjoyable series and this is a good addition to it. The storyline is well thought out and held my interest from beginning to end. I really like the characters and the way they interacted with each other. If you are a fan of this series or this genre then you will certainly enjoy this one.
House Of Vampires 11 by Samantha Snow is a great story to read. This is book number eleven in this great series that I have really enjoyed reading and can not wait to read more. I recommend this story to everyone who like reading about vampires, contemporary and paranormal romance.

House of Vampires 11: Daddy’s Home (The Sons of Vlad Series)
Wow!! I know I keep saying this but these books keep me speechless! The action just keeps out doing itself. Each book is so different with different plots and suspense. This author really has a wonderful imagination that keeps you wanting more and more! If a good read is what you want then this is your series!!
Still with typos. Not as many. And this far into the series I don’t think the author should be rehashing everything that happened previously. It just wastes space in the book and is boring to the reader. ALSO… why is Wei now Kai???? There was a typo last book about his name.. but man that’s annoying to just completely change his name in the 11th book
I loved this addition to the series it carries a bite that entertained me throughout the pages. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout.

House of Vampires 11: Daddy's Home brings the fight to Colt Valley. Some answers are revealed yet more questions arise. It seems that for every step forward there are two steps backwards.
Great book,Blair is always trying to help someone or stop something from happeing.Who is her real father?I get confused when Raphael and Leo are fighting over her.All hell is breaking loose.
I like these books. My problem, however, is the person or editor who allowed the books to go to print with TONS of misspellings and strange word choices that make no sense whatsoever. It truly detracts from the books.
why are we forgetting long standing characters names again?
Who is Kai? And where is Wei? And why can’t we be bothered to remember the names of people? The mental gymnastics required to put the right words in place of ones that aren’t even actual words sometimes is tiresome.
I enjoyed the series so far..... Each book makes you want to read more. Misspelled words and incorrect wording makes it difficult to stay on track with the plots, though.
As I have said before, the author's story is great but the quality of the editing, or lack there of, is so poor; it is completely distracting and diminishes the quality of the book overall. Its like the story was dictated and ran afoul with autocheck.
Number 11 wow this one is a murder mystery and Blair needs to solve it. She has her help of cause. Plus he came home with more power. Mmmm. Exciting read to find out who did it. Fantastic characters
