Todd Sullivan has been working his tail off to make his mother's veterinary clinic the best its ever been so she can enjoy her retirement, but he's burning the candle at both ends to do it. When he gets a request for a house call, he thinks it's all in a day's work...until he walks into a cottage of horrors. Not only is it packed to the gills like an episode of Hoarders, it also comes complete with a cranky parrot named Barnaby who would sooner pluck his eyes out than trust Todd to help him. The most disturbing part, though? The apparent owner of the home, Alice. She's young, beautiful, and amazingly talented. She's also the last kind of distraction he needs right now. How is he supposed to work 70 hours a week to ensure his mother's legacy is intact when every waking thought is of a curly-haired, dark-eyed woman who has all but bewitched him?
As Todd tries to balance his career with his love life, Cee-cee is busy trying to figure out what in the world is going on with her ex-husband, Nate. He's been acting very strange, and it's upsetting their daughter, Max. No matter how many times she tries to get him to confide in her, though, he refuses. When it becomes clear that he's in deep trouble with the wrong kind of people, she wants to help...but at what price?

There’s something about the Bluebird Bay books that makes me feel so serene when I turn the last page! This book is no different, and seeing Todd fall in love, laughing at Barnaby’s antics, meeting Beth and feeling for her, and Cee-Cee with her Nate concern, and so much more, makes me, simply, feel good.
Looking much forward to the next one. It really is impossible not to love the Sullivan sisters and all of their clan!
I love visiting Bluebird Bay and following the adventures of the Sullivan sisters and their families. Such a nice escape from day to day life. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Finding Redemption is another inspiring story written by Christine Gael in the Bluebird Bay series. This story is full of amazing characters that are mostly related to the Sullivan sisters. This story centers around Todd and his quest to find love. When he accidentally stumbles upon Alice. Alice has a lot of secrets that makes her an interesting person to Todd. In the meantime Cee-cee is still trying to figure out what her ex-husband is hiding. The mystery just keeps growing. The characters in this series are very likeable and bring a lot to the stories.
I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response and all opinions are my own. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.
Christine Gael regularly graces us with these incredible books and this installation to the Bluebird Bay series is phenomenal. I so enjoyed the way she touched on the frailty of the human condition in such a masterful and loving manner. Reading this book is like meeting the family and instantly feeling your niche, there are no outsiders, no one is too weird and everyone is welcome. While it is entitled Finding Redemption, to me it was less redemption and more Home. This book has family dynamics galore, angst for every age group and point of view and tons of happiness. You will not find murder, maybe a smidge of mayhem, a fair amount of descriptive food and scenery enough to make you want to take a foodies walkabout. I definitely will be adding this to my personal collection!
I hate to leave a 3 star review but this story just feels like a review of everything that happened in the books prior. Unfortunately I might think differently had I read the previous 6 books. So needless to say read them in order. I was lost. As I read the story it wasn’t bad just no excitement really and I kinda understood what happened to a point but took awhile. I liked Todd’s part of the story and how everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and of course the secret of an ex-husband is revealed. I’m looking forward to reading the next adventure with Nikki and Anna.

This book was really good, but I couldn’t give it 5 stars. I will admit an editing error actually bothered me. As an owner of two Bernese Mountain dogs, seeing it written as Burmese Mountain dog was irksome. That aside the reason for 4 stars not 5 was the internal monologues the characters had and CeeCee digging to find Nate’s secret. I still recommend this book and can’t wait to see what’s in store for these characters. The author has done a great job developing the characters, and in this book Teddy stole show!
Once again we have been treated to a great narrative. Strong characters and sticky situations abound in this novel and we are left with the feeling that there is more to follow. More characters to get to know and love. Nothing is sacred as Christine explores the characters and lives as they grow and evolve in Bluebird Bay. Nothing is left to chance as we join the Sullivan sisters in another exciting chapter of their lives. An awesome read.

Multiple threads intertwine in book 7 of the Bluebird Bay series. Todd stumbles into what may be love when he makes a house call for an elderly parrot. Anna and Nikki are tentatively firming sisterly bonds when Nikki's daughter Beth shows up unexpectedly. And Cee Cee is drawn into a mystery surrounding her ex-husband to put her daughter Max's mind to rest. Entertaining, heart warming, and real. Love this series!!
Loved Todd’s story and the rest of the family’s too
This series just keeps getting better with each story! I loved the additional focus on foods prepared and cooked throughout, and the additional new characters in Bluebird Bay! The Sullivan sisters and their kids and significant others have become friends to me. I just can’t wait for more.
Another great book in the Blueberry Bird series. I love how this series continues to draw you in and keeps you hanging on anxiously for the next book. This book allows readers a chance to catch up with the Sullivan sisters and their families.

Todd Sullivan has been working at his Mom's Vet's office and she wants to retire so Todd feels he is reading to take over the office. He ends up working around the clock and has time for nothing else even though he loves his work. In walks Alice and changes his life for the best. Great book.
4 stars for Finding Redemption. Todd is overworked at the clinic and has no time for A personal life. Anna has accepted Nikki as her sister and gets to meet her new niece Beth.
I have really enjoyed every book in this series. I loved reading about Todd's journey, every character has such a great story. Nikki and Beth are really good additions to this series and their history unfolding has been very entertaining.
Super cute and low key. Loved the story of this one and can’t wait for the next. Nothing too crazy happened but that’s okay. Next book should be interesting based off that ending
