A Woman's I Ching
Finally, a feminist interpretation of the popular ancient text for divining the character of events. Stein'¬?s version reclaims the feminine, or yin, content of the ancient work and removes all oppressive language and imagery. Her interpretation envisions a healing world in which women can explore different roles free from the shadow of patriarchy.

I have used this from the time it was first published. Though I have seen many other versions, this is by far the best, and the only one I use. Because she is the only person to have truly understood what the I Ching was meant to be used for. The language is inclusive of all people, and her interpretations are the deepest that I have seen --and I have studied well over 5 versions, including of course, the usual ones recommended. A beautiful life companion for the walk, as the Navahos so elegantly call it, on The Beauty Way of Life. Heartily recommended.

This version of the I Ching works quite well for me. If you are dependent on the Bollinger I Ching you may not like it. It is simpler, and '70s feminist. If you like the Noble and Vogel tarot cards (and the authors' interpretations, NOT the exemplore interpretations, which deviate, and can be idiotic) you may like Stein's book. It works for me.
