“This book is destined to be another best seller from Terry Toler.”
Sara is missing in the Cayman Islands.
No one knows it. Except her abductors, of course.
Beloved CIA heroine, Jamie Austen, is sent to Tampico, Mexico, to rescue four girls, abducted on their senior class trips.
Are the cases related?
All of Jamie’s skills are tested as she must overcome the powerful drug war lord, El Mata, his ruthless band of heavily armed killers, and a hurricane that’s bearing down on the Caribbean islands.

I've read all 3 books in this series and have more than enjoyed them. They're fast paced a maybe just a bit unrealistic. They certainly kept my interest. Highly recommend this book.
Several girls at various resorts over spring break disappear. Are the missing five girls connected? Jamie thinks so. As a CIA agent, she is known for her work in disrupting trafficking. While this third book in the spy stories dealt with a potentially troubling topic, unlike the first book (Save the Girls,) this one really did not give any graphic details about anything. Instead the reader gets to imagine what might have happened. (I didn't go there.) I liked Jamie's determination to help all of the girls that she can.
A bit of the suspense parts seem like they might be impossible. Let's leave it that a hurricane is involved. I am not sure if the author researches what is possible. Or if his goal is to write a story that goes along with the sensationalized spy genre. I did enjoy reading those parts. According to my quick research, the feat might have been possible. SO I guess I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
I do think this series needs to be read in order. I am glad that I read it.
This was a very good book. The first 30% or more of the book didn't even mention CIA agent Jamie Austin. Rather, it was all about a Christian senior class trip to Grand Cayman and the abduction of one of the students, a sweet, wholesome girl Sara. We meet several policemen on the island, all of whom are very good cops who are searching for Sara all out. Then, we meet Sara's parents, who come to the island. After all that, we meet Jamie, the CIA agent, a young woman who is a really good person who just happens to be extremely capable in many ways. There is a Christian vibe to the book, which I really like, and there is no bad language or sex. There is, however, a number of dead bodies - but most of them are really bad guys. This book has a good plot and is a page-turner.
This is the third book in a series about two romanticly involved CIA agents. The characters are well defined and likeable. It's fun to read about a female who can hold her own against the tough bad guys. I want to believe that the good that is accomplished in these stories could be real. The lead characters are Christians who want goodness and peace in our world. The books can stand alone but it develops the characters better to read them in order.
This is a 4.5 or maybe even a 5. It’s the gripping story— good plot, strong characters, and great action — of a teenage girl, Sara, in the Caymens on a high school trip who gets kidnapped.
Jamie is a CIA person who goes to help find her and 4 other girls who also have been kidnapped from senior trips. Jamie’s expertise is rescuing girls abducted by sex traffickers. Alex, her boyfriend, is also CIA.
This is a great story. It does start slow and doesn't pick up too quickly until the last 1/3 of the book. But the story line is super, and the characters are very believable. Kept me want g to know what was next. I highly recommend this book of suspense and mystery!
This series gives insights to current issues in the world. I found it interesting and easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone that loves thrills and action. It is clean and a little heart warming.
This is a very busy book. Complete action and reactions in these pages. Gotta love Jamie the agent. You won't be disappointed if you like suspense, mystery, and thriller books. I could see this being set up in a show on TV or a streaming service. Read Feb 2021
This was my first Terry Toler book and it was fantastic! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. The twists and turns kept the story moving rapidly. A touch of humor as well. Can’t wait for the next in the series!!
The book is about finding a missing high school graduate missing on her senior trip. It was intriguing and a fast read. Jamie is the detective assigned to the case. She has to do some very daring stunts.
This book is full of action and suspense with a little romance thrown in. It had twists that made it unpredictable and interesting , making it a real page turner.
Fast moving, well written and realistic characters. Great story line all within the realm of possibility. Kept me looking forward to my next reading time. Great ending although I did see it coming.
This book is a page turner as Jamie with the CIA has a heart to save girls that have been sold into sex trafficking , and she knows no limits or risks she won’t take to rescue them. Sara is one such girl who needs to be rescued. Wow! Must read!!
Saving Sara: A Jamie Austen Thriller was another excellent book by Terry Toler. Terry kept me involved throughout and on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend Terry Toler as an author.
Jamie Austen and her soon-to-be husband, Alex, are no nonsense CIA operators whose exploits are as imaginative as Bond’s, but grounded in today’s reality. Jamie is definitely an equal with Nack Reacher!
