Michelle Elaine pens Caught Up Lovin' A Trill One, a captivating romance full of drama, secrets, and heartache.
Toi Hamilton Ford isn’t the type of woman that needs to be taken care of. She was raised to be the epitome of a strong, independent woman. She’s never pictured herself as the type that needed saving because she always knew she could put on a cape and save herself. She has a plan—a plan for her future and what she wants her life to look like. However, all of that changes when she meets and eventually marries Tyson Ford.
For the last five years, Toi has been living a lie. The comfortable life she leads as a wife to a local entrepreneur and mother to two little girls is turned completely upside down as she discovers that Tyson has been keeping more than a couple of secrets from her. The effects of his dishonesty sets her on a path to a reality that she least expects. She soon realizes just how easy it is to get caught up in the life Tyson tries to hide from her. Toi discovers that perhaps Tyson’s true identity was always just below the surface. Instead, she may be the one that ends up changing.

This was a beautifully written story with a perfectly implemented plot twist. The build up and tension was great while the betrayal and deceit had me floored at times. I could tell the storyline wasn’t rushed as she took her times with details. I loved the character development for Toi, although I would like to learn a little more about Saint. He’s bae for real. Tyson who? Lol. I’m eager to find out how this story plays out and what happens to all the characters involved. The good ones and the raggedy triflin ones. My final words: Michelle’s an incredible writer and she will definitely be someone I think of when I look for my next book to download.
Michelle Michelle this is fire! In reading I already knew Ty was on some B.S. He treated Toi like she was an object, Ty thought he could have his cake and the icing also, for awhile he had that. Her best friend crossed that line of no return and for no reason should it be allowed. Scar has a method for his madness, he knew putting Toi and Hassan together would be a match made in heaven on both sides. Business and personal. Toi stepped up and did her thing. So proud of her. Ty mom and sister wasn't worth nothing at all. And they never respected Toi for the woman in her son's life. Mack started all this mess and he got his karma but is Hassan okay? Is Zues okay? What's Scar's real plan? Great Read waiting on part 2
CAUGHT UP IN LOVIN A TRILL ONE 3 - Michelle Elaine
LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!
I was brought up to believe that a person who will form their mouth to intentionally tell a “bald face lie” will be open to perform any evil deed. Based on the synopsis of this book, which specifically said “In the final installment of this series”, I place Michelle Elaine in this demographic, thus the title of this review evolved! The irony is that I love this author’s writing and her story telling ability, but I will no longer support her. How can you knowingly spend limited funds to financially increase someone’s coffers when they are not faithfully equipped to care about your feelings and emotions! Upon reading the reviews, after the fact, I found only 2 reviewers that truthfully reviewed this as a 1 star read because of this whack ending! Thanks for nothing Michelle! Question: Was the lie worth the loss that it cost you? Meaning the loss of even 1 fan? Hopefully this review will be the catalyst to the loss of many more! You certainly deserve it. DO BETTER IN THE FUTURE!
SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY. When you say or write the word “final”, it means it’s over, not to mean “to be continued”! Internalize that and maybe you can be deemed a trustworthy author! Your fans, that you have left, support you - return the favor!

Hummm.... First time reading this author and it is a charm
First time reading this author and I loved it so far. Cute, not too getto, not too much cursing or slangs, it was very easy to understand. Toi is the epitome of an independent strong black woman and to top it off, educated. Saint, omg! So far so good with him and the direction of the story. Tyson, ugly, selfish, weak, and not the boss that one thought he was. Zeus, Blanca, all hood and perfect; even Scar as well is good. Britton is all BFF genuine while Chareese is the envious friend. Karma need to make its way to these folks quick. Now let me go finish the finale so I could properly review this series.
Tyson really is a low-down dog! Wth?! Of alllll people, he chose Toi's beat friend?! Chareese heaux arse could kill! Stood in their wedding, made her God mother to Prince and repeatedly laughed in her face like it was nothing. Wow, just wow! Scar really is a man of connections. This gone be Hella crazy when Tyson get out. Anyone knows someone calling back to back, something isn't right. Omar done figured out who Mack was and all hell is about to break loose. Saint and Zeus status is unknown and Toi is hurt. It's about to get real!
This was a really good read, but I just wish they hadn’t involved children. Basically Toi wasn’t a good mother and neither was Tyson. She absolutely NEVER had or spent time with her kids. I forgot they had them until her mother came to the condo with them. It’s like they lost both of their parents. When she did have down time she was either hanging with her friends or with Saint, never took the kids out or even acknowledged them. She didn’t even call to check on them. I also wish we could have gotten a chapter with Tyson to see what he was thinking and his reaction to everything. Overall good first installment just should’ve left them kidless.
Yes finally something new to read. Story line wasn't predictable. I can't wait for it 2. She better make her husband shit bricks when he touch down .break him down like the bricks he used to slang.
This was a great start to this series. Action, deceit, budding romance. I have never read a book with this kind of storyline before. Toi had to step up to provide for her family. Can’t wait to see what happens next. The book flowed so easily. Didn’t have to wade through editing errors and misspelled words.
This storyline here is crazy....I figured that Prince was Tyson son but Toi beat the stuff out of Charese. I can't wait to read part 2. Michelle Elaine never disappoints.
This book was so damn good! Better than what I expected. It took a few hours to read it that’s how good it is. I can’t believe all of the secrets Tyson had. I love how Toi bossed up. I can’t wait to read pt2
Omg....For this to only be part 1, it's got some GOOD DRAMA!! I was hooked from the first page. This is a good read. You will not be disappointed. I'm ready for part 2.
Omg WTF is really going on?? Who could be after them now?? I smell a rat somewhere 😳😳..Betrayal,disloyal lord these folks aint bout nothing..Hope Toi gets out in time!!
Tyson getting caught up lead to quite a few secrets he had hidden and Toi was beyond shocked. I also see why Toi couldn't stand Tyson mother Cynthia. That women was a piece of work and straight disrespectful. When Britton mentioned no one knowing who Chareese baby daddy was. It wasn't hard to figure out who was Prince father. Mack was in his feelings about Scar putting Toi in the position she was in. Saint knew he was crossing the line with Toi and nothing good can come from it. The way this ended. I hope Toi, Zeus, and Saint make it out of the situation they were in.
Page turning, drama filled, suspenseful and plot twists!!! Character development and growth shows time was taken to fully capture the reader. When it rains, it definitely pours!!! Toi is the stay at home mother, while her husband is out being the legit businessman he's led her to believe he is. Not only is he still in the streets, but Toi has uncovered some deeply hidden secrets that will destroy her marriage and a friendship. His mammy 🙄 lawd she wit all da bs! Disrespecting Toi and Tyson's union, home, and Toi with snide remarks and laughing at these secrets she's uncovering. Now Toi has to play Bob the builder and and keep his isht together...enter Scar, Blanca & Saint 😍 Now that everything is laid out with her husband's secrets, Toi has to worry about her mixing business with pleasure, friends becoming foes, team players dropping the ball, rivals coming at her and the team, and a trial that could bring Tyson home!! The setup for the next installment tells me the isht bout to go down and im gon be front n center with my 🍿 and ☂️!! Let the isht show begin!!!!
Tori came through and showed out Tyson ain't shit Saint done took his wife Mack caused .ma major problems and I think Rick do ally !getting it be known and that's the cause of the shoot out Tori may res!use good at the game of not this the Dr k d time she's Been in the !one of gun p!ay and she need to think sbout her kids being wait for part two
This is my first read by this author, but definitely not my last. Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. It was full of drama, lies, deceit and betrayal, that made it a good read. I figure Tyson was harboring secrets, but not that one. I couldn't stand his mother and sister, and she got exactly what she deserved. So loving Zeus and Saint. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Great job Michelle Elaine.
