The Final Stroke

Rate this book
She doesn’t know he’s the one who destroyed her life. She’s the last one on his list to help. Will they discover the truth—and love—before it’s too late?
She calls herself Jennie but doesn’t remember her true identity. Her first memories are of the dirty San Francisco alley where she woke up, the women’s shelter she stumbled into, and the enigmatic woman who runs the place. She takes Jennie to Shiloah Sanctuary, a safe place for her to regain her memory and her life.

Ex-mercenary Elliott Harris has spent the last two years of his life restoring the lives of the people he helped destroy. The unoccupied third floor of Shiloah Sanctuary tells the story of each one. The empty rooms bear the murals he’s painted that reveal the redemption of the past. And now he’s painting the last one—the one who lost the most.

Because of a mistake.

As Jennie’s memories begin to return, her identity starts to emerge. And the dark threats from Elliott’s past have made their presence known. Helping her will mean exposing himself to his former agency who thought him dead and to Jennie’s rejection when she realizes he played a part in destroying her life.

Past and present collide, sending them both running for their lives and the truth. Yet the final brush stroke reveals the unexpected…a miracle they never anticipated.

The Final Stroke is the third captivating book in The Prophetic Arts Christian romantic suspense series. If you like heroic characters, thrilling twists and turns, and the redemptive power of love, then you’ll adore this action packed story of hope and miracles.

Dineen Miller is an award-winning and Amazon bestselling author who writes closed-door romantic comedies filled with swoony moments, snappy banter, and just enough awkward flirting to feel real. When she’s not writing happily ever afters, she’s hoarding yarn like a dragon, crocheting her way through a Netflix binge, or laughing at her husband’s punniest jokes (even when she pretends to roll her eyes). Life at home includes two quirky dogs, a yarn collection with its own zip code, and a husband who thinks he's hilarious (and he kind of is).

The Final Stroke

To hear the voice of the LORD is incredible. You sometimes wonder if it is but when the still voice of righteousness speaks you know. But this story is about our heart desires, to walk in His will and hear His voice. Not perfectly, but consistently . I loved each story they gave visions of walking in the spirit.

I liked this story. But wow. There were some big factors counting against it.

I hated the cover.
I don’t think the title fit the story.
... and there were quite a few errors/typos.

Even with all that I had a hard time putting it down.

Unique plot, mild romance, edge-of-your-seat suspense. Loved the speculative/supernatural elements as well. Could have used a tighter editor to clean up some basic proofreading errors that proved distracting.

I just finished and my heart is still pounding from the suspense! The characters showed such true and raw emotions that I was totally committed to this story from the very beginning. The combination of suspense, action, redemption, and love is just brilliant and a must read!!!
