I really enjoyed this one a lot.
Loved how protective Dane was & his realization he wanted to be & was, a Daddy Dom.
Harper was extra sweet, kind & loving but still had spirit, drive & ambition.

Harper’s life isn’t the best at the moment, she is being threatened, she is sick and could be in danger of losing her job. When she bumps into Dane, her little side comes screaming out. Can Dane keep his little safe while he tries to rid his turf of drugs? Sizzling chemistry, loads of drama and very hot. I liked it.

What did I just read?? The summary sounded pretty good but from there everything went down. Even though I finished the book (in hopes it would get better) I do not recommend it.

Harper is a Little in the closet who is traying to make her dream of being a baker come true. She has been working odd jobs in a bakery but finally her boss is giving her a chance to bake a cake for a customer. However she is trying to bake and deliver a cake when she is sick. She does manage to finish the cake but on her way to deliver the cake on her bike, she has an accident. A man on a motorcycle hits her bike and she and the cake go flying. Harper is barely conscious due to her fall and her illness. She wakes up later with a big biker intent on taking care of her. While she is sick she calls Dane Daddy which panics her so she runs away back home.
Dane is part of an MC called Daddy Doms. He doesn't think he is a Daddy but he feels the need to protect the innocent like the rest of the club does. He is in a hurry to get to an important MC meeting so he is driving on the sidewalk. He is distracted for a second and runs into Harper on her bike. He feels really guilty and nurses her back to health. Harper surprises him by the protective feelings she inspires. When she leaves him, he regrets not getting her contact information. A little while later, he and a couple of other Daddy Doms are investigating some drug trafficking in their city. They get a tip that a big delivery is being dropped off at a certain address. To his surprise the only delivery made was done by a familiar girl on a restored bicycle. Dane steps in to find out what exactly Harper is doing and why.

Dane is the first book in Lucky Moon’s Daddies MC series. In this book, readers get to know Harper and Dane. She works for a bakery with aspirations of owning her own bakery. He owns a bar, The Milk Shed and is the VP of a Daddies MC. Both Harper and Dane are emotionally wounded souls. Harper, a submissive, is manipulated by her employer, Mr. Frank. He is mean and verbally abusive. Unknown to Harper, Mr. Frank is involved with drug dealing and uses the innocent Harper as a mule. Dane is a DD. Both, Dane, and his MC are devoted to protecting women and helping the vulnerable and little innocent Harper falls into this category. So, when Destiny brings them together sparks fly awakening Dane’s protective and possessive streaks. What lies ahead for Dane and Harper? Can Dane keep Harper safe? Will Dane and Harper become a couple? Will their romantic journey be smooth or bumpy? Want to find out what happens, then you must read this book.
I enjoyed the attraction and banter between Harper and Dane. I appreciated Ms. Moon’s skill in using literary devices like dialog, dual point of view, and descriptive language. Her strong dialog contributes to moving her plot along at a smooth pace. Additionally, it provides reader with an insight into their psyches. I like how she infuses suspense through antagonists like Mr. Frank, a pawn of the notorious and vicious President of the Blood F¬__r’s MC, the anonymous Satan. Not to spoil it, I will not expand on this character other than to say his role is pivotal to this plot. Well done, Ms. Moon!

This book wasn’t terrible, just maybe not for me.
Harper is a closeted little due to a bad experience as a teenager. Who tries to keep working while sick. And meets Dane when she runs into him, having something click inside him with a need to protect her.
Dane never thought of himself as a Daddy Dom, but Harper’s little side calls to him. But when a rival gang is selling and trafficking drugs in their city, Dane and the rest of the Daddies MC will do whatever it takes to make the city safe again.
Dane and Harper get their happy ending in this stand-alone book in a series.
I appreciate that Harper didn’t regress too far as a little nor did Dane want her to. And although this book didn’t resonate with me, I liked the idea of a motorcycle club that’s also Daddy Doms wanting to protect their littles.

Déçu, intrigue intéressante mais tournure inattendue et décevante.
Parfois on dirait que je lis un manuel de développement personnel axe sur des conseils de psycho. C'est non pour moi.
Et parfois on dirait que je lis la plume d'un enfant précipité qui a réponse à tout.

Et puis je le croise. Littéralement. Il me fait tomber de mon vélo. Un mètre quatre-vingt de muscles brûlants et une encre noire épaisse.
Un corps à tomber par terre, une attitude si mauvaise qu'elle me fait trembler et trembler.
C'est un motard, il fait partie d'un club secret.
Et maintenant il dit qu'il va me revendiquer ?
Me protéger ?
Me faire régresser ?
Si je n'étais pas aussi fasciné, je courrais vers les collines.
Mais même si je courais, il me rattraperait.

Je ne laisserai pas une petite fille me distraire.
Peu importe à quel point elle est sexy. Peu importe à quel point elle est mignonne.
Je dois garder les yeux fixés sur l'objectif.

OK, je ne suis pas visqueux, mais peut-être que je suis ces autres mots.
Bon, je suppose que parfois je suis visqueux. Mais pas toujours. Pas visqueux comme un escargot, en tout cas. Juste visqueux comme un humain. C'est dégoûtant.

Je lève les yeux vers Pudding. Il est toujours assis sur le rebord de la fenêtre, sans bouger ni parler. Mais on dirait qu'il parle.
Ma tête bat à tout rompre à chaque battement de cœur. J'ai l'impression que quelqu'un me brise le crâne avec un marteau au rythme de mon pouls. Je sais que Pudding ne parle pas vraiment, c'est juste mon imagination. Après tout, les peluches en forme de gâteau avec de grands yeux globuleux ne peuvent pas parler. Tout le monde le sait.
Même dans les meilleures conditions, mon imagination est un peu débordante. Je pense que c'est pour cela que je n'ai jamais eu autant de succès à l'école. Ce n'est pas que je sois bête (même si je ne me considère pas comme intelligente), mais j'ai toujours trouvé impossible de me concentrer. Comment est-on censé résoudre des équations simultanées quand on pourrait rêver que des personnages de dessins animés remplacent tous nos professeurs ? Comment est-on censé analyser la langue d'Herman Melville quand on pourrait s'imaginer nager aux côtés d'une baleine rose au large des côtes de Madagascar ?
Comment êtes-vous censé décorer un gâteau, alors que vous pourriez avoir une conversation imaginaire avec votre peluche ?
« Non, non, non ! » dis-je, essayant de me sortir de ce rêve provoqué par la fièvre. « Harper doit travailler ! »
Je superpose la deuxième couche de génoise, je dépose une nouvelle couche de crème au beurre, puis j'ajoute la dernière couche de gâteau. Il est maintenant temps de recouvrir le gâteau de miettes. Il s'agit d'une fine couche de glaçage qui s'étend sur tout le gâteau, pour empêcher le gâteau de se dessécher et sceller toutes les miettes. Je remplis à nouveau la poche à douille et j'en verse une bonne quantité sur les côtés du gâteau, avant de commencer à tourner le cylindre maintenant rose vif sur la planche à gâteau.
En retournant le gâteau, je lisse le glaçage avec un grand grattoir pour obtenir une finition solide et uniforme. Cette partie du processus est si importante et si facile à rater que je dois me concentrer pleinement. Je sens ma langue sortir, tandis que mon front se plisse sous l'effort.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I really enjoyed the love story between Dane and Harper. She is trying to deliver a cake for her horrible boss. She is sick and hauling it on her bicycle when her and Dane collide. He is rushing back for a special vote with the club. Needless to say, neither of them make it to their locations. He takes her home, cares for her and has her bike fixed. They have a lot of chemistry between them. His inner Daddy calls to her Little regardless of what they admit. They both feel the loss when she leaves. The drug problems become issues for them both and brings them back together. Harper is in desperate need of a Daddy to watch out for her. Dane needs to protect her and get the drugs stopped. Their story is full of drama, danger, betrayal, lust and love. I thought that they were perfect for each other. I am really looking forward to the next book in the Daddies MC series. This is one of my favorite books written by Lucky

I absolutely love reading any of Lucky Moon’s books. I love how finding a Little brings a Daddy Dom from being a mean and tough man to being a marshmallow on the inside. I love the excitement and all the drama that happens in the stories and how there is an element of danger in Lucky Moon’s MC stories have the good guys winning the day. She brings all of her characters to life on the pages of the book, especially with Dane who is a hard arse and grumpy old man. When he meets Harper he knocks her off her bike and he takes her to his place to recuperate. Harper is a cake maker who is also a little but she’s hiding the little part of herself from the rest of the world because of the torment she had as a teenager from her peers. It’s a great story and really drag you in and gives you a feel good HEA ending.

So if you like to read about age play or littles than this book will be right up your alley. So we have Dane who is a member of the Daddies MC and he seems really rough and gruff. However, as you read about him you see a different side of him than what your initial assessment is. So he has yet found a little that intrigues him until he has a run in with Harper. Like literally but it was not all her fault. Poor Harper is just in her own world and has no clue what could be going on around her. Which is how she ends up in the middle of some trouble. Dane does not like that one bit and steps up to protect her and he finds out more about himself and realizes that he loves being a Daddy dom to Harper. Their relationship is cute and undeniable. Can Dane coax Harper out of her shell and accept who she is? Will Dane be able to protect her? Overall this was a pretty good book to read.

This was an awesome book! I loved Dane and Harper! Harper has had rough life and is need of a Daddy but with history, is afraid to come out as a little. Dane, is a rough biker with a rougher past and didn't know that DD/lg lifestyle was for him until he laid eyes on Harper. These two are drawn together after an accident but then go their separate ways until fate throws them back together. With everything going on around Harper and Dane, these two build trust and find that they are perfect for each other. I loved the drama, steam, side relationships, banter, love, twists and turns, action, and suspense that this book offered and I can't wait for more of Daddies, MC! I highly recommend this book and Lucky Moon as a fantastic author!

Hurrying to a meeting of the club to vote Dane hits a beautiful woman pedaling a bicycle and seeing her prone on the street he gets off his bike. She comes to but seem disoriented so he gets her onto his bike and takes her back to his place and calls the club medic. Dane wants this woman who is showing signs that she is a Little ideal for his Daddy Dom self but he is trying to find those pushing drugs in the city so wonders if is a bad time to be distracted.

This is my first read by Lucky Moon and it was sweet - don’t get me wrong - but there was some stuff that I couldn’t get around. Dane was a sweet, gentle giant when it came to Harper and he truly had a heart of gold. Harper though? She made me want to claw my eyes out because she was in “little” mode the entire book - I just can’t with that, role play is one thing and this wasn’t role play for her. The story itself has a ton of potential, the plot was interesting and I enjoyed how the MC played into the role play life of all the guys. There were a few holes in it, but things were patched up towards the end. This is a story that some may enjoy, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

This was an ok Daddy Dom romance. Not great though.
There were multiple minor spelling errors throughout the book that could’ve easily been caught by another round of editing.
The secret bad guy was so obvious throughout I wanted to shout. And all the little foreshadowing moments leading up to the reveal were way over the top. They got a bit annoying by the time we get to the climax of the book.
The romance was fine. The sex was probably the best part, but even that wasn’t the best.
I think that’s just what it comes down to. I have pretty high standards when it comes to age play books and this just didn’t completely cut it.
I haven’t decided yet if I’ll read Rock’s book, but probably not since he wasn’t my favorite of the side characters.
This was an ok Daddy Dom romance. Not great though.
There were multiple minor spelling errors throughout the book that could’ve easily been caught by another round of editing.
The secret bad guy was so obvious throughout I wanted to shout. And all the little foreshadowing moments leading up to the reveal were way over the top. They got a bit annoying by the time we get to the climax of the book.
The romance was fine. The sex was probably the best part, but even that wasn’t the best.

oh Daddy Dane….
Two book tropes that I love to read are motorcycle gang romances and relationships which follow the DDLg path and this wonderful book combined both of those-
Dane is the first book in the Daddies mc series and we are introduced, to Dane and Harper as they explore both their relationship and their roles as a Daddy Dom and. Little whilst trying to overcome outside risks like rival gangs, double crossing and evil exes.
We are introduced to the Daddies MC club and learn about their members and the gangs dynamic which sets everything up for the following books in the series.
The storyline is gripping with just the right mixture of Daddy Dom and danger. A really enjoyable read.

Sweet DD/lg romantic suspense.
Sweet little innocent, country bumpkin, Harper, and big, strong, new Daddy Dane are so cute together. Also, liked Rock and Ripper too. Her friend Felicity seemed nice as Harper's friend but was dippy to me- like she was just a silly-themed, wannabe writer. Some things didn't quite jive like Harper's relationship with her boss before and after the big crisis. The handling of the drugs and crisis seemed muddled and not well thought out, but the love story was very sweet. There were many typos that I stopped and highlighted too, so overall this was a maybe a 3.5 star book. And that's being generous. Nothing in this book makes me want to read the next one. Sorry.

Sweet story.
The characters are interesting, and our main players, Harper, and Dane are very sweet as a couple. Harper's life is pretty sad, on an existing in L.A., life. She's barely making it, on the barely minimum wage. Her apartment if you can call it that, has her pretty much living and sleeping in the kitchen. Her boss is horrible to her, and all she wanted was to prove she can bake and decorate as well as the others in the company. Dane has issues with confidence around the others in his MC club, and Bar. Almost running over Harper with his Motorcycle, while she is riding her bike changes both of their lives. You can't help getting caught up with all the problems facing them all. Trish. A.

Harper is afraid to show her Little because few understand the concept but after colliding with Dane she discovers the Daddy she had longer for. As their relationship progresses, danger has found it way to them and the bike club Dane belongs to. Dane and the other members of his club are fighting to keep drugs out but the drug leader is the last person they would have suspected. I enjoyed the story, it is fast paced and full of action. The Little part of the story is well written and shows how Harper thrived once she found her Daddy. This is a story worth reading and I would highly recommend it.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I have to say, this was not what I was expecting. This is also the first book I have read about “Littles”. Needless to say, I was very intrigued by what I learned! There is drama, chemistry, loyalty, deception and passion in this story. It was a great story with some great characters who you find yourself rooting for and there were a few times I got a little emotional over some things that happened – this is when you know it’s a great book when your emotions come into play! I cannot wait to read more from Lucy Moon!

Lucky Moon has quickly become a favorite author so I am always watching for new releases. I was so excited to read her newest book, Dane. Harper and Dane had amazing chemistry. I am so glad this is the first book of the series because that means there is more to come. Harper works for Superstar Frosting. On her way to deliver a very important cake, she literally runs into Dane on her bike. Dane is a member of the Daddies MC and his club is trying to figure out the increasing drug problem plaguing their town. This is a great beginning to this series and if you enjoy age/play DD/lg romance you will love Harper and Dane's story.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Harper has had it rough growing up and needs a Daddy but what has happened in the past is scared to show her little side. Dane, a rough bad boy biker unsure whether DD/lg lifestyle was for him until he laid eyes on Harper. They keep bumping into each other they build a relationship, which they grow a strong bond with the trust of each other. I loved the drama, hot and steamy, twists and turns, action, suspense and a HEA.

Harper is a baker and is good at it. She is sick but pushes through it and then takes her bicycle to deliver the cake. Also she has a secret, she identifies as a Little but nobody knows. Dane is on his motorcycle and is late to a meeting. As luck would have it they collide. Harper is hurt and Dane takes her home and proceeds to look after her. From there they develop a thing for each other. His club is Motorcycle Daddies. Most members have littles. There is more afoot than they both know. Danger is around them. Find out all the secrets as you read. Great read!

believe me when i say i’m relieved this book is finally over, seriously i was going to dnf around half way in cuz first half of this book feel like 2 stars to me but the second half is definitely better. the writing in this book is a bit meh to me tbh, especially the use of ‘ instead of “ but i think it’s because this is this author’s earlier work since i checked out her newer work, and the writing is definitely better (i only browsed a few pages lmao) anyway, the writing in this book could definitely be better, it was a. little insufferable to me but i’ll definitely try to read her newer books though

I love when Harper goes into Little mode.
It was interesting that Dane was part of the Daddies MC but didn't know and had never been a Daddy Dom. It was great that he was willing to explore that with Harper. The delivery twist was plain to see as it brought Harper and Dane together. The ending was totally unexpected and full of danger, excitement, and surprises.
My conclusion is that it is an enjoyable story. Not too much smexy and a sassy Little make for a great quick read.

Lucky moon know how to write
I love all of Lucky's books and this one as well. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the setting is in LA but the author i guess isn't from the US or something because some of the stuff the characters say make you wonder. For example instead of sleeping in they called it a lie in. It was like this throughout the whole book. And maybe its just me that didnt like it. But other than that it was a really good book with a lot of shocking twist and turns. The sexy scenes and spanking scenes were hot as hell too!
