Jasmine M. Gorton is a young adult who loves creating stories. She started writing at the age of twelve. Thanks to the help of family and friends, she has published three work in a span of three years. And when she's not busy reading a book, you can find her working on her next story.
Uncharted Dangers, Vigilante, and Emotion were my favorite short stories in this collection by Jasmine Gordon. I was extremely impressed by the imagination portrayed in the writing by this young lady. I believe she has a promising career as an author.
Loved this book. It's a fast read but pulls you in right away. I'd like to see the author turn some of these into full-length books! The illustrations were great, too.
Escape Reality: Short Stories is a book that I had come across through Twitter and it intrigued me enough to purchase. This is my first time reading anything by this author and I found the stories to be very well written and interesting reads. I came across a few editing issues and these did add up and I found a couple of the stories to not be quite as good as others which is the reason for the small mark down but it has not put me off reading more by this author.
In terms of the stories you are going to find a variety but each one is designed to take you away from your reality and place you in an alternate reality so consider other worlds as the least of your worries.
Warning: all are short stories. Don't get attached to them. Suggestions: there are few places in the stories which are weak. A small edit could fix them.
This book is amazing for those who love mini-stories that will leave you wanting to know more about the short story. And for those who love imaginative worlds they can visualize easily.
