L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world's wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference. The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly. That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, Team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal. L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers. With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet
Little bits of Jordan, Stella and Brinks story have been playing out in the background in earlier books. Stella, while not an "ability" , is gifted and a lot like Mitch Baxter. She is part of Justice's crew. She has known ffor a while that Jordan and Brinks are hers. Figuring out what it meant and how to make it work has been a challenge for all three. Brinks has come a long way. Therapy has helped him work through things and he is ready to claim Stella with Jordan. Now something has Jordan, anxious, angry and distracted. An attempt made on him and an Major, is the wake up call needed. Brekan is now the new President of MC Colorado. The things Jordan have been dealing with are coming to light. Once again the clubs are cleaning house. The brothers who have been paying lip service to Brotherhood are being weeded out. Jordan and Brinks are following the lists and are taking their time to do things right in claiming Stella. Change takes time. Cleaning up the mess that Jordan spent the last few years trying to contain and unravel, while trying to protect the man who has been a father to him, is a long process. Through all that is going on around them, Stella, Jordan and Brinks are working hard to find their balance. They are all in with each other. They hit a few bumps. Stella has her crew to help keep her straight. They give that same support to Jordan and Brinks. Fast paced, a little steamy, loved Jordan, Stella, and Brinks story. Most of the drama the three went through, played out in previous books. Their story was coming together. Finding their balance and building their future. Seeing what a badass Jordan really is. Why he was chosen to be President. Brinks and Stella make him stronger. Princes and MC show. Always good to see them. A lot of hints of things to come. Love these series. Can't wait for the next book.
This is such an amazing series. With each book you read, in this new spinoff to her Princes Mc, draws you into the captivating and compelling storyline. This is Jordan, Stella and Brinks’s book. With trouble from within Alpha, things are unsettled. As always Cort and the BSC has his back. New procedures, new club and personnel help settle everyone. The love within this club for Bada#s and it’s members is shown throughout the book. I loved watching these three characters find their new normal amidst the chaos. Stella is a real pistol, sharp, funny and no ones fool. She’s exceptionally gifted despite being deaf. She knows how to handle her guys and navigates these unusual circumstances with humour and snark. Loved reading this book. Awesome book and series.
I am always amazed by this world that this author has created! I absolutely adore Jordan, Brinks, and Stella. To know who you would be paired with your whole life and still have no choice you would almost want to rebel but Stella was just badass...she just had to wait for her men to grow a pair and grow up. It is interesting to see the growth and struggle they have to go through to find their place with Stella. When they finally get there with Stella it sure is sweet. I absolutely love this series and all the characters and can’t wait for the next one!!
This is one of my favorite BSC books by L Ann. I was surprised I hadn't reviewed it when I first read it . I'm on my 50th reread ( not kidding, honestly probably more 😜) and I still get caught up in Stella, Jor don and Brinks. Finally seeing them settle in together after all that happened with Brinks and now the club drama with Jordon is always a great read !!! The parts with Major still make me cry and I love have she kinda introduces Kristos for the next one !! Obviously a must read and as always I find new details in the rereads !!!!!!!
So many layers! Each book seems to peel off another one. I was definitely surprised with the stuff that had been going on with Jordan. I really loved getting to learn more about Stella, Jordan and Brinks. It almost seems as if you never really knew the characters until you read their book! So much more depth. As with all of L Ann's books it was an amazing read. Thank you L ann! Sos❤
As always, another awesome book. Her mind is a brilliant, amazing thing. How she keeps track of everything always amazes me. It's mind boggling! She always deals with emotions beautifully, showing Badass everywhere. I love her books, every single one of them. Looking forward for the next book. No other author writes like she does. It's so refreshing. Thank you!
There’s a lot of information going out in this book, lots of stuff moving and shaking. The romance takes a backseat to the birth or rebirth of a new chapter, but that’s ok what there is of it is sweet and Badass. I liked Brinks better in this book, he’s definitely grown and so has Jordan. Stella is amazing and I love her with these two.
You keep amazing me with your stories. Didn’t know how I would feel with Stella, Brinks, and Jordan. Simply put amazing. Please read this book, along with her others you will not be disappointed.
I really enjoy L. Ann's books, but this one struck me as different and pulled me in. I haven't put my finger on what pulled me in but I was all there. The story is an easy read, the characters enjoyable and definitely worth the read.
Following the series is indulging in continuous ride of believable fantasy and realism. Although the themes evolve the characters stay the same and true to their mission. Everyone should indulge in Badass
Stella is Sheila and Jax's daughter. She freaks when she is told that she is Is being claimed by 2 brothers President Jordan and VP Brinks. The brothers don't take it well at first either. They both have a lot of garbage to work though.
This trio's story has been in the periphery a while, so great to finally have a whole book focused on them. I still struggle keeping up with all the different names, characters and connections but it is getting easier.
Each book in the series gets better and better. I have to remind myself to put the kindle down so I can sleep. Only downside is I have to wait for the next one.
This is the first book in the new chapter of the BSC MC books. This one covers Alpha Club where Jordan is the Pres and Brinks is the VP. Both men are meant for Stella, Sheila and Jax’s daughter from Enforcer. Stella is a genius and deaf. She hasn’t got any extra psychic gifts but she took part in all the training the other kids had. She’s pretty deadly as well as very very clever.
I was pretty confused for the first 20-30% of the book. There was stuff going on with Jordan but it was only insinuated rather than explained and it left me frustrated that I couldn’t quite work out what was going on. I think this is because there was so much set up for the new club as well as writing about the relationship between the three people. This is an MFM story, but even though the relationship between the two men isn’t physical they are very much a partnership in loving Stella and their relationship with each other is as important as each of theirs with Stella.
It was interesting learning more about Jordan. We already knew quite a lot about Brinks because he grew up with Cort and Jinx is his twin brother, both of whom are long-established characters in the series. Jordan was always more of a peripheral character and as such, we didn’t know much about his background. This book explores his past and how he became involved in the club. We also get to know more about his abilities and his tech/business skills.
Now I know more about the set up of this new club, I’m looking forward to reading more about it, especially with all the information dumped on me in this book. The relationship aspect was again not the most important part of this book, it was a central part of the story progressing, but wasn’t the main focus. A lot of the problems in the relationship and the obstacles stopping it were sorted out in previous books. There wasn’t much of a hint about who will be covered in the next book as there were no real hints, for once. I’m sure all will be revealed in due course.
