This was definitely an interesting listen. [ I listened to this one on scrib'd ] Our male MC Liam aka Daddy is a hired to bring in Bella as he believes she committed a crime with her father and therefore is the "bad guy." Bella needs to convince Liam that the men who hired Liam are actually the bad guys, and she will be killed if he brings her to them. Liam quickly falls for Bella after he captures her. And the feeling seems to be mutual. Liam is heavily scarred and believes no one finds him attraction due to those scars. Bella is obviously VERY attracted to him and helps him understand his worth. There is a DD/LG kink feel to this right along with a Beauty and the Beast retelling concept. This is also novella length, so keep in that mind. I don't know that I would reread this, but it was definitely an interesting read.
Liam is hired to bring in Bella after a set up which will have her ending up dead. She needs to convince Liam that the people he is working for, aren’t the good guys. Will she do it in time and what will happen as sparks begin to fly between them? Fast-paced steamy read with intense chemistry, loads of drama, suspense and great characters. I liked it.
This is my first read of Olivia Fox’s book and I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout and I’m posting this complementary review voluntarily . This book tells the story of Bella and Liam. Bella is a professional hacker, a nerd and a bookworm. She is also beautiful and sexy. Liam on the other hand is a hired gun employed to catch Bella. He has a battle scar on the face but he is sexy as hell as shown in the book cover. Looking at the book cover, I never actually thought that Liam is anything but perfectly handsome and very manly.
It was lust at first sight for Liam and Bella but since both of them are in the middle of the mission. That is, Liam’s goal to capture Bella and deliver her to his employer in exchange of bounty while Bella is determined to find his father and expose the wrongdoings of the people behind her capture. At first, they fight the attraction between them but I must say with less determination because they immediately give in after a short time. I actually find the romance build-up between the two too rushed. There are enough steamy and naughty parts and a lot of dirty talking too. Two done in the cabin and another in a secluded island. I don’t want to say much so you can find out on your own. But, it is definitely a HEA for the two.
I don’t want to comment much about the storyline to avoid so many spoilers but I cannot really find enough emotions in the book to connect me deeply with the characters. But, it is definitely a short and sexy read. On the creative sides, I must say, this is a well-written book with poetic analogies. If you are looking for alpha-male hero with preference on kinky sex then this book is definitely for you. It is also a dual-POV so you get to see the thinking of both the hero and the heroine. I give this book my 4-star rating.

Plot: This is a DD/lg story based on Beauty and the Beast. Bella has been accused of helping her father commit a cybercrime when actually it was the company that hired them that did the crimes. Her father has disappeared, trying to clear his name, and Bella is on the run. Too bad for her that Liam was hired to capture and return her to the company. She's sure that would be terrible for her and her father, but she can't convince Liam that she's innocent. He is intrigued by her; he's sure she's a Little, and he's also sure that he could be her Daddy. But how can he return her and take care of her?
Character development: I liked both of these characters a lot. Liam was badly hurt in the war, and half of his face is burned and scarred. Bella is the first person who doesn't seem to mind. Bella is a big girl who hasn't had a lot of relationship experience, and she's a little anti-social (although not really introverted at all, even if she does enjoy hacking, which seems like it would be a solitary activity). It takes a lot for Liam to trust Bella, not because it's her, necessarily, but because he's taken in a lot of criminals, and they all say they're innocent, and also, he can't believe that anyone would want him as he is. The ending of the book is perfect for them, and I really enjoyed it.
I liked the start but it was written with vernacular that did not fit the storyline and kept pulling me out of story. Interactions were awkward and didn't flow. I kept hoping it would get better, i finished it, so it got 2 stars.
Too fast-paced. This left no connection and relationship growth. I usually don't like books this short, so I'm not sure why I decided to read it in the first place. Definitely needed more development.
Well I'm no computer nerd but I'm happy to put my hands behind my back and call him Daddy after reading this!!!! OMG! this is one hot read!
Olivia Fox has provided us readers with an absolute gem; this is a great retelling of the classic Beauty of the Beast, without the puffy yellow dress and red rose falling apart under a glass dome! And I can assure you this is no Disney version either...
Well thought out, with obvious planning and research Olivia Fox moves the reader through the gambit of emotions, whilst the only two real characters of the book tussle and romp their way across the pages. OF has 'captured' the real alpha daddiness of the beast in the male lead in both his size and personality from the start only for the female lead to discover the real him. The deliciously descriptive writing is very clever in that we are drawn into their chemistry, it warms you through, it will raise the hairs on the back of your neck and lower your eyes in acknowledgement of their actions and words.
I love OF's nod to one of the best ever BDSM books ever written by Anne Rice, and they way it has been used; as well as the clever use of other types of BDSM play and scenes such as primal and bondage which have been woven throughout the busy storyline.
I'm totally recommending this book to you for your Kindle library, perfect for me time, in the bath, in bed, even on the train if no one is looking over your shoulder; just add it to your Kindle today xx

A simply riveting and original read that you cannot help but enjoy This is a totally original read I cannot believe the interaction between I thought that the characters were well written and I enjoyed their interactions between Isabella a hacker that is on the run and trying to ensure that no one is able to find her Papa that is in hiding after they had discovered the company Bulker Inc. Corporation had been unethical practices and had put a price on his head. Liam an injured veteran has taken this job believing that the surprising large amount of money on his finding Isabella and bringing her to Bulker Inc. Corporation so that they can discover where her father is in hiding will enable him to have the operation to correct his facial injury. As Liam spends time with his beautiful captive, he starts to doubt the story that has been told to him, the file he read about her father and her seems too not ring true and also to add to the complications the fact that she saw past his scars and saw him as a man. The sexual interaction between Isabella and Liam is smoking hot and when he tells her to call her Daddy it seems as though they are made for each other, this is a wonderful read so original and the characters and the plot are simply wonderful. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
This is about a recovery agent coming into her world, trying to apprehend her. Not the other way round. The cover pic doesn't match my image of Daddy Dom Liam- his hands are three times the size of hers and Bella was worried his shirt would burst when he crossed his arms. Bella is a chubby, small woman, shaped like a guitar, but she sounds cute and adorable. Despite not knowing about, or seeming to have any interest in Daddies and littles- she definitely has no trouble trusting and calling disfigured Liam "Daddy" right from the start, and for a white hat hacker and computer genius, she seems kind of stupid. She didn't know about GPS on cars and not to go to properties that she owned to hide out? Thank goodness Liam was the one to go after her- because she seemed quite TSTL.
On another note- there are quite a few words missing in this book, which made me have to stop to figure them out, thus disturbing the flow of the story. There were also repeated words too. And lastly, there's no mention of anyone else- like friends or coworkers- except her dad (who we never meet), so I have no anticipation to read the next book. This author truly needs a good editor, since I've found ALL her books lacking. The only reason I keep reading her is the sales and the subject matter of her books. I was hoping she'd improve eventually, but it's really slow going. Here's hoping for better next time ......
DNF a couple chapters in I guess. I've never read Olivia Fox but the first chapter caught my attention. It seemed Ike it would be suspenseful and kind of a naughty cat and mouse maybe. But, not so much.
I really didn't like Bella. For someone who is supposed to be a 25 year old woman who not only is a super smart ethical hacker but relays how she grew up too soon when her mom died when she was ten years old and she completely took over running the household because her dad was a wreck, she comes across as such a child. Immature and a bit annoying.
As for Liam. He could be super interesting based on his backstory but he's just not. This is insta-lust but, because Bella is so Immature and also kinda uninteresting it just left me wondering why. Literally after she says one sentence to him he's basically like "I may have sex with women to satisfy the need but no woman has ever called to me like this one. I can't resist her " but like, why?
The, shall we say intimate scene, between Liam and Bella is also kinda akward or weird. Also, spanking someone as a punishment without their consent is sexual assault. The first scene in which that occurs is so weird because anyone in the lifestyle like Liam professes to be would know that's 100% not ok.
I listened to the audiobook, and was a bit confused by the fact the story was dual POV, yet the male narrator did both parts. Most books I’ve listened to have two narrators for this style. It took me until half way through the first chapter to realise it was Bella’s POV. But Tom Fairfoot is a pretty good narrator so pulled it off. And luckily for him, for the most part there were only two characters!
The story was a little predictable…but then again it is based around Beauty and the Beast.
I feel like there could have been more depth to the characters though. Some parts were very repetitive, like Liam was constantly on about his looks and been a monster, and Bella kept repeating the stuff about her cyber specialism been penetration of systems.
There was one part of the story that had me confused. Why did it take 3 days for Liam to catch up to Bella? He had a GPS tracker on his truck, and recovered quickly enough from the pepper spray for her to only have a 2-3 hour head-start.
It is the first book where I’ve heard the MMC want to be called daddy…I know it’s a thing, but I just don’t get it, so it grated on me every time. But that’s just me.
I do wish a guy would build me a library though! In that respect, Bella is lucky to have Liam.

This was a steamy read with two people that want to be together despite the strange situation they find themselves in-as hostage and captor. Each with their own set of vulnerabilities and fears. This is a full read and there is some Daddy talk but that's the extent of it, using that word. They are both good people who both actually are trying to do the right thing.
She is out to prove her and her father's innocence. He's after his bounty, hoping the money sill help him heal after being burned.
I felt for the two. She had too much responsibility for her young life and he had his esteem knocked down a peg. She saw nothing wrong with him and he was just trying to do his job by taking her in. Should he have taken advantage...no. She didn't exactly complain about it though, lol. I wish there was more build up to them taking that step. Also the writing style is different but still readable. I believe them waiting a tad would have been best for their relationship. Also I do wish her dad had a speaking role, that would have been a great resolution.
Isabella Tate (Bella) is extremely talented at hacking. So when her father is framed for a crime he didn't commit, she decides that she is going hack her way through all the lies and deception to find the truth. Thusly setting her father free. What Bella doesn't know is she's dealing with the big boys. They don't like people messing with the plans they've made and cemented into place. So, they contact their "Elemenator, Liam Whittaker. His job, find and elemenate the problem. What he doesn't expect is Bella, a feisty, beautiful young woman claiming innocence. Of course they all claim to be innocent, don't they? Bella looks at this battle scarred beast. He's big and he's scarey, but there's something else deep inside. Maybe she can hack thru his gruff, callous demeanor and see what's really inside him. But, she'll have to use something other than a computer to find what's truly lying beneath his dark exterior.
His scars were a testament to his courage! by sewsummore
Isabella and her father have been framed for a data breach they discovered but were never responsible for. Her father managed to leave the country before his arrest, and Isabella had gone into hiding while waiting for her father to clear their name.. Liam was a scared ex-soldier working as a bounty hunter. The reward for Bella's capture would hallow him to pay for the expensive reconstructive surgery he needed to face the world with confidence. It was this reason that Liam refused to believe her denials of wrongdoing. Bella had been attracted to Liam from the beginning, his scars were a testament to his courage, and he could never be the monster he called himself. I admired Bella's honesty and the love she had for Liam. The scars saddened me Liam received fighting for his country and rejoiced in their happy ending.

Think Beauty and the Beast meets Hitman and his hit and you have this story.
Hitman Liam is a war veteran who is heavily scarred and in a bid to raise money to pay for reconstructive surgery he takes on a job to capture a young hacker and take her in for questioning as her and her Dad are blamed for a crime. He doesn’t however expect the little firecracker Belle to be so sweet and caring towards him and as much as he tries to ignore her pleas of innocence her acceptance of him starts to wear him down.
A really sweet story and a great retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a modern twist. Although it was short it was paced well and I enjoyed it. The focus is on the main two characters throughout the book with the occasional appearance of outsiders - such as waitresses in the diner, man in the bar etc so it’s purely about them and their lives which could be a little more descript in places.
This really fascinating daddy romance has an “enemies to lovers” undertone that is very loosely based on a “Beauty & the Beast” fairytale. The plot is well-written, entertaining & tantalizingly intriguing at times. The characters are interesting with opposing natures which develops quite quickly into a Daddy/Little relationship. There is: a rather feisty young female white hat hacker (Isabella aka Bella Tate) on the run is caught by a by a determined scarred male bounty hunter (Liam Whittaker) to bring her in but he soon discovers that things are not as they seem to appear, Bella’s father who is also on the run, a conniving company (Bunker Inc), drama, some twists, intrigue, suspense, deceit, betrayal, strange attractions, discipline, spankings, jealousy, manipulations, protectiveness, realization, verbal conflict, misunderstandings, insecurities, love, steamy scenes, happiness & a sweet ending.
This story is so much like Beauty and the Beast. Once you start reading the storyline you are hooked until the very end. The plot is well-developed, entertaining, with drama, twists, suspense, deceit, intrigue, betrayal, discipline, spankings, protectiveness, love, insecurities, misunderstandings, steam, happiness and a sweet ending. Belle is smart, sassy, feisty and a white hat hacker on the lamb as she's trying to prove her and her father's innocents of cyber crimes. Liam is an Alpha Male who is a former military Daddy Dom who was scared in the war so he hides his heart of gold. Belle and her father are being framed by a company, Bunkers, Inc. Liam finds that as he's bringing Belle in that things don't quite add up. Love this story. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is spicy with explicit scenes, forced proximity, BDSM, spanking, captive/captor, daddy, insta-attraction, age gap.
This is a Beauty and the Beast very steamy and dark retelling set in modern times.
Overall the dynamic between Bella and Liam was enticing. Their banter and the chemistry between them were entertaining. lt is a quick and entertaining read/listen (3+ hours).
I gave under 4 stars due to some of the writing and words used. I found it to me quite immature and adolescent at times, with words like “hooha” and “button”. It took away from the adult theme for me and felt too childish. Luckily it was only a few sprinkles throughout as I’ve DNF other books bc the words used were cringe. Again it was an easy read and free on Chirp. It is steamy, dark and entertaining enough to read between books or when you just need a quick read that isn’t too deep or serious.
Compared to other books that Ms. Fox has penned, Captured: Dirty Fairy Tales Theme is loosely based on Disney's Beauty and the Beast and lands on the lighter side of the Daddy/little spectrum. This story focuses more on the emotional turmoil, internally and externally, between Liam, the hired gun to capture and retrieve and, Bella, a corporate hacker for higher, whose father and business partner is framed for espionage, and they want her to tell them where he is. The Daddy moments mostly occur when Liam feels protective and during their bedroom gymnastics, making for a perfect introduction to the Daddy/little theme because the Daddy/little choice isn't in the readers' face, twenty-four-seven. I am happy that I got a chance to read Ms. Fox's latest book through Booksprout.
**Spoilers** This wasn’t my first read by this author, and it wasn’t that the premise wasn’t intriguing or the writing was bad. I think, with this type of story, the DDlg relationship is based so importantly on trust and a respect from the Dom for voluntary submission, that I wasn’t feeling the emotions the same between the H/h. The H didn’t believe the h’s truth, so was determined to disregard her wants and needs for the sake of his pride in his job. I think that felt less Daddy to me than usual and bothered me more than I realized. It had to potential to be dangerous for the h, so that definitely didn’t seem protective.

This well-written book 1 in a new Demanding Daddy Book Series has a great story with interesting characters. These characters are well-crafted and mostly likable and the story has action, adventure, twists/turns, romance, and a HEA but a lot happens to them first. This is a well developed and entertaining story that is worth read. Bella is caught by Liam, who has been hired to bring her back. Will Bella be able to show Liam that the company is the unethical one. As they are travelling, Liam and Bella fall for each other and discover that there is a daddy inside Liam that Bella wants to play with. Will they be able to prove that Bella and her papa are not the bad guys.

I would always read a Beauty and the Beast retelling...i just love the fairy tale so much and was glad to not be dissapointed. I honestly could not put this book down.
Isabella is running away after her father (both white hackers) found some shady things in Bunker Inc. Bunker Inc hires Liam (a scared veteran with Daddy complex) to catch Isabella and bring her to them. Once Liam founds her the job seems to easy and Liam´s Daddy needs surface with her.
Isabella is trying to resist Liam´s appeal but realizes that she likes being his little girl, but why is he so focus on delivering her to the bad guys?
The characters and the story were so well developed and the ending was just the HEA you want for them
