… discovering a kindred spirit in the most unlikely person.

This was another scorching hot cowboy romance back on Silver Springs Ranch and I am officially hooked on this series. The story is fast paced, well written and has layered and complex characters that really stand out.

Maverick is a working cowboy, with a dominate streak a mile long and an arrogant demeanor that instantly rubs Bianca the wrong way. After running away from her soul crushing family, she planned to hole away in her cabin and finally figure out what she want’s to do with her life. Because she knows, if she goes home, her mother will bulldoze her all the way to the alter, with a man she doesn’t love.

She’s not looking for love and Maverick doesn’t do commitment. What starts off as a no-strings-attached fling between two polar opposites quickly implodes when real feelings and common ground open these two up to a new future, if they’re only brave enough to take it.

These two are like oil and water when they first meet. Going in, I knew there was going to be a love/hate trope going on but I didn’t see it coming in the form of Bianca and Maverick locking heads outside the bedroom, but also in it! But these two were on they’re own level when it came to foreplay *fans self* I’m just going to say, these two are beyond creative when they decide to come out and play!

Bianca and Maverick’s story is sizzling and their chemistry is so thick you can cut it with a knife. It was definitely lust at first sight but the transformation they both go through to get their HEA was really sweet. It wasn’t flawless or perfect, it does have it’s ups and downs and a huge elephant in the room they have to overcome, but overall it was a story that kept me engaged from start to finish.

This is my third book in the series and I love that no two couples are the same. Each story has fleshed out characters, an intriguing plot line and so much steamy kink that keeps piquing your interest for more, each time you’re introduced to a new character. I’m definitely curious to read the next about Noah and his live-in nanny but there is also Tanner, Linc and Amber! Cabin X also gets explored a bit more and although it’s definitely taboo and exciting, I’m also a bit nervous since it’s hinted at that some of these cowboys might be into voyeurism and/or sharing. Two kinks that are not for me ☹

Final thoughts, I liked both MCs. Maverick redeems himself and I’m a sucker for a Hero who falls irrevocably for his heroine, and for being such a commitment -phobe, I loved watching him fall for his princess. Bianca is a character I couldn’t help but want to root for. The end felt a bit out of sync for me, simply because I didn’t expect Bianca to so quickly cave when confronted with her mom. After all the emotional confidence she gains while on the ranch, her tucking tail and falling into step with her mom so easily, just felt off. Her character was so much strong than that!

She finally comes into her own and when she calls her mom out on her BS, I was pretty proud of her. Just wish it hadn’t taken her break up with Maverick and a transatlantic flight back to England for her to snap out of it and stand up for herself.

3.75 stars!

This is the third book in the Silver Springs Ranch series and features Maverick Greyson and Bianca Peabody. Maverick works on the Silver Springs Ranch and spends most of his time with the horses. He is a Dom, loves women (but never indulges twice), has dreams to build a cabin on the mountain and live his days single.

description

Bianca is from London and escapes to the ranch to get away from her family, especially her mother. She comes from an affluent family and is expected to uphold certain archaic traditions and live the life her mother wants for her. But Bianca becomes suffocated and decides to run so she doesn't lose the last piece of her soul.

description

Maverick is possessive, broody, dominant and a bit of an ass sometimes but Bianca quickly brings him to his knees. Bianca comes across as a cold-hearted and snobby woman but there is so much more to her than meets the eye. When Maverick and Bianca finally have a steamy encounter after all their sexual tension, things quickly change and feelings get involved but Bianca has secrets and Maverick doesn't give second chances. Will Maverick and Bianca be able to build a life together when the secrets come out?

description

I enjoyed this story...it was right up my alley plot wise and I love a cowboy. I think I would have liked just a tad more relationship development. I feel like they jumped headlong into everything really fast, everything exploded and then they jumped headlong again. After not finishing the second in the series, I was hesitant to pick this one up but it was a nice steamy read. I don't read a lot of BDSM but I like Summers because she writes more mild BDSM. While I probably won't pick up the next one in this series (dead spouse and all) I will continue to keep reading this series for as many books as she writes for it. Because cowboys...duh.

Man, this book is truly hot! Maverick and Bianca are two people driven by a fierce physical attraction, and the sensual scenes in How to Rope a Rough Cowboy are intense and varied. That’s an amazing plus, but that also means these two are so focused on one another physically that they avoid having conversations they really, really need to have.

Bianca’s escaping a stultifying engagement that her parents set up between her and another upper-class friend in her home in England. Maverick has avoided any sort of long-term entanglement, preferring his life as a dom moving from one sub to another. But their connection is immediate and overwhelming; they’re in the bedroom basically immediately, and there they work together perfectly. And this is what scares Maverick. His avoidance of commitment means he won’t admit what Bianca means to him until it’s almost too late.

I had a tougher time with Bianca, in the sense that as she started seeing how committed she and Maverick were becoming, she should have come clean about her engagement, particularly as she and her fiancée had basically zero physical relationship. And I wish she hadn’t caved to her mother quite so easily when push came to shove, particularly when we find out about Bianca’s financial situation. And as great as the sensual scenes were, I would have appreciated a few more references to general discussions that Bianca and Maverick could have held that would show them connecting outside the bedroom.

Luckily, the dramatic separation in this book is short and doesn’t diminish the story too much. I really, really loved that each character quickly realized the error of their ways and made moves to reconnect with one another. And besides, a sexy and exciting read like this more than makes up for it!

Princess meets a real life cowboy

This is the third book in the Silver Springs Ranch series where strong women get caught in the web rough and tumble of cowboys.

Bianca, a member of the British aristocracy flees to Colorado when life in high society becomes too much. A controlling mother has smothered her to such an extent that she needs to reconnect with who she truly is. Bianca and Maverick has a less than auspicious meeting, with Bianca falling back on her snobbishness in her tired state. Word sparring soon turns to physical chemistry as the two embark on a torrid love affair. (Note the elements of mild BDSM) And through this we see the growth in Bianca and the mellowing in Maverick.

But as reader, you can feel the tension building as we know Bianca is keeping secrets and at the height of their connection, something is bound to go wrong.

I do feel that the book could have had smaller tension building that would then drop off rather than the steep climb it did before falling off the cliff. That said, although Bianca and Maverick both acknowledge their willingness to sacrifice for the other, I felt Bianca's strength came almost too late...I did want her to show some backbone earlier in the book. This does not detract from the satisfaction of their HEA.

Maverick and Bianca look like the dictionary definition of ‘opposites attract’. With her aristocratic British heritage and his wild west upbringing, these two really couldn’t have come from more different backgrounds. However, once we start peeling back the surface, these lost souls have more in common than either one could have guessed. I particularly appreciated that when things weren’t going right for them, it wasn’t always only one partner’s fault and that both of them were capable of asking for and granting forgiveness. This may not have been the pair I thought would be up next, but I’m starting to think that explosive combination might be saved for last. In the meantime, I look forward to reading more about the other inhabitants of Silver Springs Ranch.

THE HEART WANTS WHAT IT WANTS

While this is a series, the third book is well-written and will read as a stand-alone. The story mainly focuses on two people, Maverick "Mav" Greyson and Bianca Peabody— they are complete opposites, yet when they come together, even when total strangers, the chemistry is off the charts.

Mav had a crappy childhood, the product of a marriage due to a pregnancy, which parents who didn't love each other nor seemed to care about him. When he was old enough, he left home, traveled around, worked multiple ranches, and then settled down in Colorado working at Silver Spring Ranch. He's happy here, loves working with the horses, and has even purchased a small piece of heaven nearby that he plans to build his own place. There are plenty of locals and tourists to play with—and he has no intentions of getting serious with just one woman.

Bianca comes from royalty—as in British royalty, where archaic unions are still in place. Her parents have made a betrothal to her friend, Peter, since ages thirteen and sixteen. He is the son of a Duke, and her mother loves that prestige for her daughter. Cue upTina Turner—"What’s love got to do with it?”—and that isn’t what Bianca wants for herself or Peter.

The plot will have Bianca running away from London, flying to America, and heading west. She will drive from Denver to Winter Park, where she had booked five weeks at the Silver Springs Ranch. When trying to unpack her rental (Mercedes), she will be confronted by a cowboy who arrogantly calls her Princess. These two have a way of rubbing each other wrong, like vinegar and baking soda, and something will blow up. As Bianca tries to settle in, knowing her fate is a ticking time-bomb, she also feels lost and needs to find herself. Everything in her life that she found pleasure in, her mother decided it was frivolous and ruined for her—now, she will experience those things again, like riding a horse and painting.

When Mav and Bianca have several encounters, it never goes well, but that will change. What was supposed to be a night of no-strings-sex happens, everything changes. Each will do things that they usually wouldn’t do—and when these two get together, they can’t get enough of each other. Typically, Mav is a one-and-done man; it was real, it was fun, now I’m done—but not with Bianca—he can’t get her off his mind, and he can’t wait to see her again. Bianca feels so free, and she is willing to experiment. Mav told her he was a Dom, he is in control, and she allows him to teach her.

“We make quite the pair, don’t we? Families are so complicated.”

“But yours drove you to another country.”

“They did, for which I’m eternally grateful. I was suffocating. Being smothered daily by my mother’s well-intentioned plans for my life. I’d almost forgotten that it was mine to live. If I would have stayed, I think my soul would have died.”

The plot has plenty of angst, family issues, lies by omission, but it also has passion, sizzling hot sex, a journey into BDSM, and new experiences.

“He wanted the woman who drove him crazy and made him burn with illicit desire.”

“And deep in her heart, she knew he was it for her. She might have had to leave everything she knew behind and travel half a world away to find him. But it had been worth it.”

The story has the good, the bad, and the troublemaker. Two people, fate brings together, but both have issues, family issues, and it tries to put a wedge between them. What the feel for each other burns everything else away—but trouble is coming. When Mav learns what Bianca hasn’t shared, will this be the end? Will her mother win?

Overall, I loved the story, the chemistry, and the ending. Despite Mav's arrogance, when it came to schooling Bianca into BDSM, he was patient, caring, and she was his reward. I think that Mav and Bianca are great together; they heal each other and have a way of lifting each other. The story is an erotic, emotional roller-coaster ride. It is extremely heavy on sex scenes (way too many IMO) and does have some power exchange.

How to Rope a Rough Cowboy is the third installment to the Silver Springs Ranch series. If you haven't read the other two in the series, go pick them up! You'll enjoy them! This book is a standalone and merely makes references to lead characters in the first two books.

Bianca, a family member of and to English royalty, found herself betrothed to her friend, Peter, at the age of 13 (he was 16). Her mom is controlling and critical. The expectations of being a member of the royal family are often too much for Bianca - everything she's ever enjoyed has been taken away since it doesn't fit the profile of who her mom thinks she should be. Just weeks away from the arranged nuptials taking place, Bianca finally gets enough (of her mom and the life she is living) and runs away. She is lonely, discouraged by her life, unhappy and just does not know who she is any more.

Maverick is the opposite of Bianca. He was raised in a loveless home and determined he would never get serious with one woman - ever. He passes his time with locals and tourists, dreaming of building a home on the plot of land he bought and taking care of horses. He has finally reached a place in his life where he is content and happy.

Bianca reserves a two week stay at the Silver Springs Ranch and immediately upon meeting Maverick, rubs him the wrong way. He refers to her as churlishly as Princess. Maverick is rude and snarly towards Bianca. Bianca reverts back to what she knows - being snobby. There is attraction between the two and when they give in to their desires, the one and done cowboy and the snobby princess find themselves falling for each other. In spite of their differences, they begin to see a future. Maverick helps Bianca rediscover who she is and she in turn, helps him believe in love. Until her mother interferes. Will Bianca return to England and marry Peter? Will Maverick discover love is worth fighting for?

Anya Summers is one of my go-to authors. She is a dependable author who always delivers very interesting storylines and a whole lot of happy endings (which includes light BDSM in this particular storyline). Cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Bianca Peabody and Maverick Greyson. Bianca can't take one more moment of the wedding she doesn't want to a man she considers more like a brother than a lover. She is tired of bowing down to her over controlling mother and has to get a away. So she packs her suitcases makes a last minute airline reservation and heads to America from England. See Bianca figures she will take this time and decide for herself and she live her own life or will she turn it over to her mother to slowly let her soul die a slow and painful death. When she gets to the Silver Springs Ranch she is hungry, tired and in need of a shower. So the last thing she expects or wants is a cowboy who seems to try and get on her last nerve. Maverick is looking to work as hard as he can and be able to build the house of his dreams on his land. He isn't looking for a woman one because he doesn't have the time and two because no one has made him want to slow down and want to be with just her. The new woman on the ranch though has him taking notice. From first the moment they speak with one another he knows what he wants with this woman. What happens though when feelings come about and secrets are revealed? Will this be a HEA or the end of them both forever?

So So So Amazing. These characters grab you on the first page and won't let go even when the story ends. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

This was a really good opposites attract romance. The characters had depth and the story was funny and well developed.

Bianca Peabody comes from a venerable old English family where appearances are everything. Her mother arranged her marriage to the son of a peer when she was a young girl and is now pressuring her to get married. Bianca is physically and mentally exhausted from trying to please everyone, live as her mother expects and maintain family traditions and obligations. She runs away to the Silver Springs Ranch in Colorado to try to get her sense of self back.

Maverick Grayson is the head wrangler at the ranch. He is also a Dom who doesn't date or do relationships. From the moment he sees Bianca he falls in lust, then she opens her mouth and is condescending to him in her too uptight spoiled brat way. He decides to give her lessons on riding a western saddle and they spend time sniping at each other until she propositions him.

They had a hot steamy vacation fling that turns into so much more but her mother shows up and forces her back to England. She has it out with her mother and glue back to the ranch to try to reconcile with Maverick. They get their HEA.

'How to Rope a Rough Cowboy' is Anya Summers' third book in her "Silver Springs Ranch" series and is at hot as 'How to Rope a Wild Cowboy' and 'How to Rope a Rich Cowboy'. Each of these books can be read as standalones so if you're starting this one first, have no worries, you'll be able to follow along with no problems. But do yourself a favor and grab books one and two, you won't be sorry. This time we get to meet Maverick who was raised in a loveless home, his mom getting pregnant and the times dictated his parents marry. He couldn't wait to leave home after graduation determined to make his way and never wind up in a situation like his parents. That's how he wound up at Silver Springs Rach ten years ago. He doesn't want to be tied down to one woman and never indulges in repeat performances. Until Bianca showed up as a guest at the ranch. With her haughty attitude and prissy demeanor the two immediately mix like oil and water until they wind up having to spend time together and suddenly the mixture turned to gasoline and matches. I was on pins and needles hoping for Bianca's secrets to be voluntarily revealed in the mist of this passion but, as you know in most romances, that didn't happen. Wait until you read this. It will absolutely blow you away. I know it did me.

This is the 3rd book in the Silver Springs Ranch series and can be read as a standalone....Anya Summers has written another fantastic book that delves into the world of Bdsm and the Doms that control the pleasure a woman will recieve....that is until they meet the women that will knock them down on their kness and turn them into besotted possessive alphas.
A fantastic and emotional story qbout Maverick who has had a terrible childhood but found himself when he settled at tge Silver Springs Ranch.......and Bianca who comes from a long line of British royalty of which is constantly reminded of by her overbearing and controlling mother.
When the two meet its hate at first sight...she thinks his arrogant and he thinks she is a spoilt brat that needs a good spanking over his knees..
When they start to spend time together you can practically feel the chemistry between them oozing of the pages.
For the first time in his life Maverick is actually thinking about settling down.....but a secret that she has been keeping from him threatens to destroy his trust in her and the future that he hoped to have with her... a definitely recommend this book

This was a funny Dom/sub romance between a cowboy and a very rich Brit escaping her upbringing and family. Her parents are still living with the regency concepts of signing a contract to have their daughter wed another rich friend's when they were still young. Both Bianca and her fiancé go along with it for fear of causing a ruckus and ruining their families, despite having no feelings for each other but friendship. Neither knows that the other wants out. Bianca finally has a breakthrough and decides to go to the US to paint while she figures out what to do. Bianca is fed up with her family bullying her and not caring what she wants out of life and is totally miserable. This is an interesting twist and combination of a cowboy romance trope, an international romance, and a wealth gap and background difference trope. This is pretty well written story with lovely twists and turns and a very sexy cowboy.

Bianca was a young woman whose mother ran her life...and criticized her every decision. She was engaged to Peter since she was 13 and he was 16 per their family and proper London society...and she was tired of it, and thought she would be soul dead if she want through with her mother's plans for her life...so she decided to leave and travel 5000 miles to Colorado. She rented a cabin at Silver Springs Ranch and decided to rediscover herself...after arriving in rental car where she was driving on wrong side of the road, seated behind the wheel on the wrong side of the car...only to be confronted by an ornery cowboy, Maverick who called her Princess and seemed to get on her nerves...but he was there to assist with bags, teaching her western saddles...and ease some of her loneliness...but would they discover a yearning for each other before she had to get back to London and her upcoming nuptials....I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved, loved this book! Bianca flees England to get away from her mother, a fiancé that she doesn't love and the aristocracy in general. She finds herself in Colorado in a rental cabin at Silver Springs Ranch. She meets Maverick, Head Horse Wrangler, when he stops to help her with her luggage...and there's a lot of it! The relationship gets off to a rocky start when she wants to go on a trail ride. Mav thinks Bianca needs to be taken down a peg and Bianca thinks Mav is kind of insufferable. All of that changes one night, and while, their minds might not get along...their bodies can't get enough of each other. Each of them protecting their own heart, neither being truthful leaves them open to assumptions and vulnerability....each one wondering why they are not enough.
Loved this book and had tears in my eyes and a heavy heart during parts of the story.

Excellent

Love the series so far and can't for more , comes the series of silver springs ranch where we meet maverick greyson the head rancher of the stables and overlooks all the horses welfare on the ranch and his best friend colt has found himself a lovely woman being head rancher leaves maverick will be he ever meet anyone, he never wants to go be a no body and believe he can do anything he wants it be alloys himself at least he has his friends who are like his brothers. Bianca Peabody comes from a long line of aristocracy - descedants of the plantagent and a mother who doesn't see Bianca for who she really is and only for a status purpose rather than mother and daughter Bianca the to be who she wants until enough is enough and disappear into the springs ranch where she begins to enjoy life again . the songs that remind me of these characters - pocketbook of sunshine - Natalie beddingfield \ Blake Shelton - nobody but you love the book and series so far

Dang third book in this series. It is a different story, and I really enjoyed it. You have banter between these two like no other. They are very much the cliche thing of opposites attract. You have emotions that go from cold to hot. There is so much sexual tension with these two it is interesting. He is a dom, and she is interested in learning. She is trying to find herself as her family has wanted her to marry someone she is nothing more than a friend. He is a wham bam thank you maam I am done no repeats guy. But when these two meet sparks that can start a wildfire are surly between these two. There is a secret that is also kept that could come between them so lets see how everything plays out with these two.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a standalone love story in the Silver Springs Ranch series. Mav and Bianca are opposites in so many ways. He is content with his laid back life while she has traveled thousands of miles to escape hers. These two have sparks flying between them so often that it is hard for them to realize when the burn is a good thing. Mav never could have imagined life with someone like her but now cannot imagine it without her. Bianca has gone and fallen in love, but with the wrong man. These two have to stand together to get a chance at a happy future. I thought it was a well written story. The characters had a lot of chemistry

Maverick Greyson is rough around the edges, and when he meets Bianca Peabody, she is not at her best. Fleeing an arranged marriage in London, she finds herself in Colorado for 5 weeks, after which she plans to go through with the marriage. One night changes that. Maverick sees through Bianca's haughty facade and finds a passionate woman beneath. The ladies' man who never sleeps with the same woman twice falls for the English beauty, but her unshared secret may destroy them both.
This is a solid story, with a healthy dose of BDSM hotness sprinkled in. Maverick did not see himself ever falling in love; he does not believe in it. He is also not the man Bianca ever saw herself with. Their love story is electric, and worth the read. Though it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone.

Bianca is running from her life, at least for a little while...she can't stand the constant need her family and friends have to look the best or be perfect in the eyes of society to get ahead...she has not felt like herself in a long time and just needs a break from that life...so she runs out into the middle of nowhere in another country...she figures they will not chase her there easily...

Maverick gets on Bianca's nerves from the start...they seem to always be at each other's throats for some reason or another...he kind of enjoys rubbing her the wrong way...as much as he enjoys bossing her around during riding lessons on the ranch...

if there are that many sparks just when they are verbally sparring, what kind of sparks will there be in other parts of their lives...?

The saying "Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive” was never more true than for Bianca and by not telling Maverick about her fiancé and her family in England it nearly cost her the love of her life. With a mother like Bianca’s it is surprising that Bianca turned out as well as she did but everyone has their breaking point and Bianca’s sent hers to Silver Springs ranch where she meets Maverick a confirmed one and done wrangler. This is the third in the series and while not my favourite it is an interesting twist in the series. I like that Ms. Summers doesn’t always expect the woman to give up her career for the sake of a man an senile Bianca didn’t have a career, she did have a passion and talent for art that Maverick inspired. The ending was very sweet.

What’s a girl to do when her family has her life all planned out and it is not what she wants? She runs away but Bianca runs farther than most, all the way from London to the Rockies. Here she meets the man of her dreams, even though their first meeting was not exactly pleasant. They say opposites attract and they are definitely from different social/economics backgrounds but for them it seems to work until the secrets blow things apart. Their interaction is explosive and off the charts hot. I definitely loved this story. This is a great addition to the Silver Springs Ranch series and definitely worth reading.

A very interesting, sexy and entertaining match-up. Bianca has run from obligations put upon her by her mother, but she ends up in America's wild west on a ranch where she butts heads with horse wrangler, Maverick Greyson. The two couldn't seem like more opposites, but will find they have more in common eventually. Maverick and Bianca can't fight their attraction and their constant bickering becomes hot as they fall prey to their mutual satisfaction. Things come to a head when the secret Bianca is keeping finally gets revealed nd the couple must find a way to make things work through honesty and caring about each other. This trip to Silver Springs Ranch is another steamy trip I hope gets repeated in further visits to the Ranch, I want a place just like it closer to my home!

Bianca belongs to the British high society, but she has a problem. Her family - especially her mother - wants her to marry a man she sees more as a brother and not as a partner in life or a lover. So when the pressure gets too much she secretly leaves London behind and flies to a remote ranch in the US to take some time off to contemplate her future. Here she meets Maverick, a cowboy who fascinates her. Falling for him gives her the strength to fight her family.
A well-written book with an intriguing, albeit common plot.
The BDSM descriptions in the book are tasteful and well-described. An enjoyable book all around.

How to Rope a Rough Cowboy is the story of one woman's journey from being brow beaten to conform to societal expectations to finding the strength to say no more and walking away from family. Every thing Bianca loved when younger was taken away from her because it didn't fit into her parents narrative of what is befitting their station. When she has hit her limit, she runs and sets out to find herself.

It was obvious from the beginning that Bianca would only be able to hide for awhile until it all caught up to her. However, her transformation from being a shell of herself to a strong woman made for a good story. Having Maverick along for the ride was an added bonus.

The English rose gets tied up by the cowboy Dom

How To Rope A Rough Cowboy is the third book in the Silver Springs Ranch series and is a sexy, sweet and entertaining story. It is about Bianca Peabody and Maverick Greyson, who are about as opposite as you can get. But yet they fit and work together in a way that you would not expect. Plus they also have a zha, zha, zhu that is sizzling hot as he is a Dom and she is up for some exploration and experimentation. So saddle up and get ready to be be tied up with this book.

A frustratingly, steamy romance where fate brings opposites together
I loved Maverick, this rough and tumble cowboy with no plans to settle down until he meets Bianca, the ranch’s latest guest. I feel for Bianca who is trying to find herself as she runs from her secret and her mother ordered life in England. When these two meet, it’s sparks, cultural differences and lots of attitude which all seemingly falls to the wayside as the steam ramps up between them. But secrets have a way of bubbling to the forefront that could jeopardize everything. You have to read to find out how it will all end and will absolutely love the ending!

★ Sexy, steamy, and well told ★

—>>> Maverick is thrown out of sorts when a posh guest arrives at the Silver Springs Ranch, only he cannot seem to deny that the attraction was off the charts for him. One thing leads to another and this strictly single player cowboy finds himself falling for Miss Peabody and picturing a life which was once empty to now include her by his side. What he does not know may just destroy any hope both have nurtured while spending time together, but the clock is ticking until her stay there is over, and then it will be right back into the life which had been mapped out for her since she was a child. Sexy, steamy, and well told!

Bianca is tired of her family dictating her life as well as who she will marry, so she escapes London for the western US and Silver Springs Ranch. There she meets an arrogant, domineering cowboy, Maverick. He is a master at avoiding long-term relationships, preferring being a dom for one and done subs. He assumes this prissy woman from London is a princess and she thinks he is a egotistical jerk. But there is much more to both of these people. These two have intense chemistry and friction, fire and ice. The book have steam, drama, steam, a surprise or two, and more steam. Great couple, great read.

Mav is a cowboy on a ranch in Colorado. Bianca is a British lady due to marry her friend, as dictated by their parents agreement. Getting away from it all to Colorado, she and Mav keep crossing paths and not liking each other. One night is all it takes and the sparks fly. The characters are strong and determined in their goals of being true to themselves. The storyline was well done, with plenty of intense feelings, along with some twists and surprises. So happy at the end result of her and her mothers relationship. Can not wait to read more by this author.
