Can a forty-year old decision be made all over again today? While renovating her childhood home into a B&B and navigating the waters of a second-chance romance, Beck Foster is suddenly forced to face the past and open her arms to strangers she never dreamed she’d meet.
With the help of her daughters Savannah and Peyton, Beck resolves to undo the past and expand her family forever…but that decision isn't always easy. As Savannah faces the challenges of having a baby on her own, and Peyton takes her budding romance to the next step, the Foster woman all learn that life in the Keys might be warm and breezy, but it’s still complicated.
With four generations of strong women and a few equally amazing men, the characters in Coconut Key comes together once again with a sense of solidarity that gets them through the toughest times. Will that be enough when the storms of life throw them into whitewater and threaten an unimaginable loss?
The story of Beck Foster and her family continues in book 2, where we meet Peyton's sisters - Savannah and Callie. Mysteries are revealed, plot twist at the end, all wrapped in a beautiful, sandy sunset
Ok I am officially in love with the series, I loved book one and didn't think it would get any better but book two .... wow it's yet another emotional roller coaster with laughter, heartbreak, secrets, surprises, love and family be it by blood or bond. Life has changed a lot for Beck since moving back home to Coconut Key and it hasn't always been easy especially when secrets need to be freed, so when another secret from the past arrives I just wanted to hug her death with how she embraces it along with everyone else and bring Ava into the family fold, of course there is more that goes on as we have yet more secrets to learn as well as love and laughter to have, tears of happiness and sadness as well as the unknown of how this new stranger is going to affect things for Beck. That ending has left me on a tight rope needing the next book as I need see what Beck will do, as well as wanting to know more about Savannah's baby daddy and everything else!!!!

She is flirting with Val the fisherman they go on dates and are a couple she tells him what she wants a forever,he tells her he had a girlfriend and she died, he ran away and needs to go back and face everything. Peyton is heartbroken. Savannah is staying with Beck and she is pregnant. Ava and Kenny are staying with Beck and doing her kitchen. Kenny has a date with Maggie and they hit it off. After the kitchen is done Kenny decides to stay because Ava is doing so good. Savannah and Ava has hit it off she is a strong woman who has messed up and Ava relates. Bill shows up at the house Beck doesn’t recognize him but then realizes who he is.
Hope Holloway’s A Reunion in the Keys, Coconut Key book 2, should be called “Reunions” in the Keys because there are several—and all are satisfying! The granddaughter whose father was adopted and her unknown grandmother. The grandmother and her “sister” (really mom, but I think that must have been the titular secret in book 1, A Secret in the Keys). The son and his mother, the unknown grandmother. The son and his daughter, who becomes less anxious and braver than she was in Atlanta. The middle daughter (aunt) and the famous father of her unborn baby. The youngest aunt and common courtesy, and the oldest aunt and a man who will give her the family she’s always wanted—not so much. But there are still books left in the series, so I hope (get it?) their turns are coming soon… Hope Holloway has created an imaginary Florida Key that feels real, with characters who shed their hangups and share laughter and tears. I’m looking forward to returning to Coconut Key!
The second book in this series, and again I could not put it down! Just as things are moving along, from out of nowhere, another curve! We get answers and then more questions. This author is keeping me on my toes!
As we continue our visit to Coconut Key, we are meeting more family. We get answers to the lingering questions from book one as we pick up where we left off. Beck and Lovely are working on renovating Coquina House into a B&B, but we need a contractor. A Bachelor Auction and a rival Restaurant provide some angst, but we mainly focus on family and the strong women that make up the Foster family and their friends. We end on a cliffhanger, but this time I was expecting it. Bring on hurricane season!
Thank you to Booksprout and the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Hope Holloway has churned up another captivating read. These characters, Beck, Lovely, Peyton, Savannah, Jessie, Josh, Ava, Kenny, Val, Callie, and now Bill Dobson are wonderfully written with emotional baggage, drama, and conflicts that you cannot help but scarf through these words and then come up for breath in anticipation of what's to come in the next installment of this series. Each character has their 15 minutes in the spotlight and exits stage left. Well done Ms. Holloway. Five worth stars
An interesting story that takes a look into the complicated subject of family. I haven't read the other books in this series however I was able to follow along. The only issue being that there were a lot of established characters that were difficult to keep straight. Again, I'm sure that's not a problem for someone following along with the series.
The story was well written and well edited. The characters were likeable and three dimensional. Thank you for the opportunity to review this ARC.

Ok I am officially in love with the series, I loved book one and didn't think it would get any better but book two, three four and five, can't wait for six and seven + wow it's yet another emotional roller coaster with laughter, heartbreak, secrets, surprises, love and family be it by blood or bond. Beck hasn't always been easy especially when secrets need to be freed, so when another secret from the past arrives I just wanted to hug her death with how she embraces life and her challenges in Coconut Key.
I absolutely loved reading A Reunion in the Keys(Coconut Key Book 2)!!!! All about Becca Foster a fifty-six year old semi-divorcée living with two eldest daughters @ The Conquin House that’s soon to be a B&B! Coconut Key holds lots of secrets that affect a lot of people!! This is a series that must be read in order, as each book unfolds another secret!! I just finished this book, that I read all night!!! I can’t wait to read book 3!!! The characters are dynamic and I’ve falling in love with each and everyone!!! Take a chance, read Coconut Keys!!!
This is such a great series! Perfect setting, awesome storyline. And for my life a little close to home! My (unbeknownst to me and my ex husband his father) stepson found my son through 23 and me two years ago… my exhusband never knew he had that son… right around that time I discovered my mom was married for 7 years before she met my dad and my eldest brother was born 3 weeks after my mom married my dad… So this is the like a story that the deceased cannot tell…
As with book one - all the characters are the same. Wonderfully written, this is such a caring family as are their friends. Meeting the granddaughter gives Beck and her family joy once the past is revealed. Reading this book one can already see more stories (hopefully!) to come along.
This book struck a chord with me as I was in Beck’s position - to say more would be a spoiler! But I was able to come full circle on my own journey and my heart is full, just like Beck’s.
I enjoy seeing all the relationships develop and deepen with each book. Such a pleasure!
This one was way better than the first. I needed this escape. The last few books I’ve read have been crazy, twisty, sometimes scary thrillers. I needed something easy, relaxing, emotional and moving. This was EXACTLY that. I almost cried a couple times. I felt for the characters. I loved the setting even more this time around. This is the epitome of a perfect summer read. It made me want to visit The Keys!
This is just a wonderful series and this book is great. You can almost feel like you are there in their moment. The characters are all wonderful and so realistic. The story is wonderful and the interaction with the characters is perfect. These deal with family. This is just a great book and I think it might be my favorite of the series.

Loving this new series!! The connections, the loyalty, the questions, decisions, and the hearts behind it all… this is what the characters represent in this Coconut Key series.
Although I was hoping the reading would feel more like I was in Key West, Coconut Key is more like a smaller key in your way south. And the people and stories are keeping me turning the pages quickly and with much enjoyment!
Omg... This book 2 had me bawling in chapter 2. The excitement never ended or disappointed. I couldn't stop reading it. I read the whole book in 3 hours. Now the wait for the next book. Life is short, live everyday to the fullest. I was giving the ARC for an honest review. I loved it and you will too.
This series seems to be a family saga so definitely read in order! This book starts immediately at the point at which the first one ended! Great, strong women, 4 generations, surviving and conquering the hits life has thrown in their paths. Love their interactions, their reactions to been problems, and their strong support of each other! Wonderful family story!
After a long beginning the story began to take place. Some secrets were revealed but more remained. I really didn’t care for the ending. The story just stopped, while it was obvious that there was more story needed. I’ve read book series where the second story has a conclusion of its own but still leaves you wanting to read more.
This is the second book of the coconut key books I have read and I’m enjoying every paragraph. Their dealing with serious subjects, but the characters are so much fun. Divorce, death, love, unexpected pregnancy, long lost family and a great light read.
I really enjoy this series. If you need an escape to the Florida Keys, this series will take you there. I think this would be a tough stand-alone since it picks up where the last book left off. But, it's totally worth reading the first one! Great characters, beautiful setting, and the author does a great job keeping you hooked in and wanting to read more.
Highly recommend this series. Only on the second one here but i am thoroughly enjoying this family and being transported to the Keys! Can’t wait to see what comes next. Read the first two in 3 days! I love that we get the experiences of the whole family from each of their perspective.
Just finished A Reunion in the Keys. This was such a great book. It touched my heart. Family finding family. Family secrets revealed. A young girl who has a lot of tragedy in her life discovers a family she always wanted. An ending that just brought tears to my eyes. What a fantastic reunion was brought about in this book. Hope Holloway, you are a fantastic author.
It was the fear in her voice that gut-punched Ava. No, that wasn’t a punch to her gut, it was her chest, which constricted like a full-blown panic was bearing down. Not now. Not now. She clung to the bench as they pounded up and down on the waves. Each time they crashed against the water, Savannah cringed in pain.
After the enjoying the first book, the second one did not disappoint!! More and more added to this wonderful family. Can't stop reading, I want to know what happens next! More Second Chances keep happening, in spite of any setbacks. I love the strong women in this continuing story! Thank you, Hope Holloway, for placing this saga in KU! Ready for the next installment.
I love it!!! Hope Holloway is a wonderful author. She tells the story and makes it come alive while you are reading. I love this story and all the characters. This beautiful family just keeps growing. I can’t wait to start on book #3 in this series. I highly recommend this book and this author.
More surprises are in store for Bec, after she learns that her Aunt is her mother and the lady that raised her is her aunt. As Bec settles into a new life in her childhood home, she learns that family is not always by blood and that lifelong secrets need to be told not held inside your heart. This book is fun and easy to read.
I love the series. After living in Ft Lauderdale for 14 years, we went to the Keys 3-4 times a year, I can relate to the stories of waterspouts pop up atorms, unbearable heat, glad I got to live there, (so glad to be gone from there now)! Thank you, Hope, for a great read!! On to the next one.
I started reading this series because I'm planning a trip to the Keys, and wanted to get the vibes! Both books I've read so far have made the islands come alive in my mind, and I simply love the family stories and each character. I can't wait to dive into #3 and hope to be at some point in the series when I'm sitting on the beach in Marathon Key next month!
Crisscross applesauce!! This book series gets more interesting with each page of each book. I am glad Kenny decided to stay,so he can start a new chapter.I am so glad grasshopper overcame her fears to help Savanah. Secrets only hurt the person who has to keep them. And they are revealed when you least expects them. Next book is gonna be good!!
