Khaos Trilogy #3

Our Final Dare

Rate this book
Eros and Sophia have been friends for as long as they can remember – arguments, drama, gossip, relationships, and breakups. They’ve been through it all. So, when Eros begins to see Sophia in a new light, he can’t think of anyone better than her as his mate.
He grew up in the comfortable protection of his parents love – a love that had transcended beyond the realm of death and back again. He pictures the same love whenever he lays eyes on Sophia.
But there’s something about Sopha. Something she tries to keep hidden. The more Eros thinks about her, the more he begins to question everything he knows.
Where does Sophia disappear to for months on end, and why does her family always seem so nervous?
Khaos and Violet are getting ready to step down as Alpha and Luna of the Blood Moon pack, and Eros is ready to fill their shoes – he wants to do this with Sophia by his side, his mate for all eternity, but something tells him, he might just be destined to be alone.
Sophia is hiding something, something that will change them forever, and make them question everything they’ve ever known. She’s not as she seems, and in a world that can’t and won’t accept change, she’s destined to live on the outskirts.
Just when all seems to be lost, a new Alpha enters the picture. An Alpha that says Sophia belongs to him. He’s never been more out of his depth, and with the Moon Goddess absent and Hades slowly taking over as the leader of the wolves, things have never been more dangerous.
Join Eros in the final instalment of the Khaos Trilogy as he tries to fight for Sophia, keep his family safe, and protect the future of his pack.
Who will survive the final fight – in this world, there can only be one winner.

J.M. Johnson is a UK based author, often writing books set in her home of Yorkshire.

She writes dark romance that are very, very spicy, with morally grey men, and strong female leads. With a profound love of sarcasm (that's the British in her!) her books are always filled with it, as well as sprinkling humorous banter throughout.

All of the books come with trigger warnings like a shopping list, but are also plot heavy.

When she's not writing, she's either practicing her special effects makeup, or spending time with her three children, her fiance and her two dogs.

Book 1 was really solid, book 2 was good, book 3 kind of overstayed it’s welcome for me. Personally, I would have been happy with it just being a two book series filled out a little more. The storyline felt a little rushed at times, but the amount of spelling mistakes between all the books was what honestly got to me by the end of the 3rd.
That said, Khaos is a loveable character, as is Eros and I enjoyed their development over the series.

You know how sometimes you get really into a book, then it ends you're left emotionally destroyed? Well, that's book 1 in this series.
The read book two... the Rollercoaster of emotional turmoil that is book 2, but ends happy. It's so beautiful, and you just think, "yah, I can handle a third book, that would be great!"
Book 3... it takes all the sucker punching to the emotions from book 1 and combines it with the good feels and love from book 2, all with a new disgusting bad guy. The problems that our beloved Khaos family faces in this book are so raw and gritty, I swear you'll be biting your nails the whole way through!

Book 3 does not disappoint and carries this already brilliant series even further to a beautiful finish!

Great read!

I loved all three book . I loved the way the whole family interacts with each other. That little girl was a riot had me cracking up and her dad. Loved that it was a happy ending . I would definitely recommend this for anyone with a sense for adventure, love, laughter and a little heartache. I hope to see another adventure with that little firecracker and her bear mate. 🤭🤣

On of those books that keep you at the edge of your chair. Even when after two other books, you still feel like it's never enough . I love the imperfectly perfect word you created. Thanks for this work of art.

Absolutely unnecessary. The first book was amazing, the second not as, but this one was truly unneeded.

WOW, what a series, great writing (not for the squeamish) such emotions, is different and interesting how their Gods& Goddesses are brought into it... oh and “Wolfer” 🤣🤣😉 Enjoy 🐺🐺💜🐺🐺
One of my top 5 series that I’ve re-read too🤓📚
