Things start to become interesting when the first of the ships AI’s wake up and warns the family of an enemy who’s goal is to dominate the entire Perseus spiral arm, including the Orion Spur and the Sol system. Step in Jessica Stone, with two doctoral degrees, one in theoretical gravitational applications and another in magnetic engineering. She had helped win the Draper Prize for Engineering at age nineteen, sharing the award with four other grad students. She’s been busy again, studying gravity and is about to break through and change the whole Sol system, and the path of the human race. Based in the asteroid belt and centering on the successful mining family, the Stone’s. The series explores what could life be like for multi generational cultures based in space. What might be the value of water. What is someone's personal word worth five hundred millions kilometers away from Earth. Incomplete?
