Raya

Coloring in the lines isn’t for me.
Neither is the quiet life.
I party hard every step of the way.
Maybe a little too hard.

Now I’m in quite the pickle, and my family is desperate to wrangle me in.
I guess the law is too, judging by the sexy ankle bracelet I’m rocking for the next few months.

I’ve traded in groupie life for group therapy, where I met the man whose motorcycle and tats haunt daddies’ dreams everywhere.
The man who’s as infuriating as he is sexy.

In Lev Rebel, I might’ve finally met my wild child match.
Every day I spend with him, I lose my mind a little more.
But in the end, I might lose my heart, too.

Rebel

My ex-wife left me with two young kids, one set of divorce papers, and no instructions.
It’s been years, and I’m still learning every day that this parenting thing isn’t easy.
Throw teenage rebellion, and I’m completely lost.
But that doesn’t mean I won’t fight for my family.

That instinct lands me in hot water and, subsequently, a weekly meeting.
It also leads me to Raya, the last temptation I need right now.
But something about the hot mess hellion draws me in, and I might just risk it all to find out what.

Rebel is a single dad/opposites attract romance with heat, hahas, and a guaranteed HEA. Explicit language and graphic sexual scenes included.

I have honestly loved every single book that I have read by this author, the characters in this series and the Barratt brother series are easy to connect to with stories that will keep you enthralled and laughing at the antics from start to finish. KB Cinder has definitely become one of my fave authors over the past year.

Raya has never been one that follows the rules and one night of what she was hoping was excitement left her with pretty much nothing, she lost her job at the bakery she had worked at for the past five years and stood in a courtroom being told that she was under house arrest unless she was working or going to group therapy, eight weeks and her police record would be clean the only reminder of that fateful night when she met Vic Salmon is the scar on her leg and the limp she now had permanently. But the day that she meets Lev Rebel and she is sat in his chair the battle lines are drawn but there is a fine line between love and hate and it looks like this wild child had finally met her match. Can Raya repair her relationships with her family and gain the trust that she has lost? And how will Rebel impact her life?

The witty banter between the characters are on pointe all the way through I honestly felt like I was on the journey with Raya and Rebel as they found their way to each other I am just gutted they aren’t my friends. I am not going in to too much detail about this book because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone but this is a must read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy pf this book. This was a 5*+ read for me and I don’t give that rating away often.

I will be adding this series to my WTR pile.

REBEL is book 4 of the "Holly Hearth" series and is the first I've read. The way it is written, it is easy to tell which characters have previous stories, and they were explained perfectly so I never felt lost.

This Rom-Com was well written. I was invested in the characters from the beginning and have no complaints about the story at all.

First off if you haven’t read this series you need to. KB Cinder is becoming one of the Queens of romcom for me. Rebel is a hilarious tale about Raya and Rebel, two wild children that are stuck in group therapy. And one of them is about to meet their match.

This story is heartwarming and makes you want a Rebel of your own. You get to see all the characters from the previous books can I just say Sage. Who would want to miss that? I love how the family interacts throughout the series. In this book it had you feeling like you were there with them taking Raya's journey with her. You learn how one mistake or one second without hesitation can change your life. You see the struggles how to gain trust back and how relationships can change in an instant when your back is against a wall.

KB Cinder’s brain amazes me with all the funny stuff she comes up with. I have never had a book of hers disappointment me. Her writing style is a fun, easy read that will keep you entertained. So if you need some laughs I highly recommend her books anytime to anyone.

Right off the bat I felt like I was hanging beside Raya. The situations that lead her to group therapy and to find a few kindred spirit in Lev had me laughing, impressed by KB and just really enjoying myself.

Definitely a 10 star reading experience but I'd be careful with eating or drinking around this one. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.

This is book four in the Holly Hearth series. This is Raya and lev's story. Raya is the wild child and she has managed to get herself into quite a jam, like lost her job, house arrest and has a scar and permanent limp. Raya needs to get life and family figured out. The day she meets Lev, he fires her up in more ways than one. This story is fantastic, it is an enemy to lover story, steamy and so freaking funny! The exchange between these two characters makes you feel like a ping pong ball, in this case, it is a good thing. Enjoy!

I’ve loved every single book in the Holly Hearth series and this book was no exception. I did find this story to be a bit more serious which I totally fell for....hook, line and sinker. There was still the feisty female that I loved so much and let’s not forget the sexy smart mouthed male but with all of that also came some realness that tugged on my heartstrings and maybe made me tear up a bit (ok it totally did!!). Oh and I live for the laugh out loud moments that the amazing KB Cinder always delivers with amazing awesomeness. I have to say I am so sad to see the end of this series and have the urge to start it all over again because they are just that good.

Rebel by KB Cinder. This is book 4 in the Holly Hearth series, it can be read as a standalone but characters from previous stories are mentioned and or show up. And truly these books are really good, humorous, and heart-felt; you don’t want to miss them. This is a one click must if you want a great contemporary romance with snark, escapades, nutty characters and a family that sticks together when you need them the most. This book was slow to get into, however once I was a few chapters in, I was hooked and I couldn’t put it down. It was about Raya, the black sheep of the family who liked to party and live on the edge. She end up being pushed over the edge and found herself in mandatory meetings. It was there she met Rebel, a hard ass who lived up to his name. It was hot and steamy and an enjoyable read.

Dark and Gritty!
I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.

Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.

I received a copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

I felt for the main character in this story. It felt like she was never given a chance to become someone special. Did she make mistakes - certainly. Was she out of control - yes. Did peoples perception make it hard for her? Absolutely. They were a great couple though I would have liked to shake him a few times because of his treatment of her. His kids were great and added some awesome moments in the story. A very good story.

KB Cinder did a great job on Rebel, the plot and characters were strong. I enjoyed Raya and Rebel's journey. These two were made for each other, yeah they had a bumpy road but they were well matched. Their connection, the chemistry, it was strong, sexy. They were great together.
I enjoyed this story, it was great.
Thank you, KB Cinder. Great work :)

Rebel and Raya

I am a sucker for single dad books... because dingle dads raising children without the mother in the picture are extremely underappreciated... I just loved these wild cards and how their story played out so perfectly!! And the HEA!!! SWOON!!!!

Very fun read!! Perfect for a weekend read and enticing enough to keep you engaged. It’s got a little too much cussing for my taste (hence the 4 stars) but still really good!
