Would you like to know what I found out about these devil-damned awful books? They are meant for Macs. That is why none of the commands ever work. Better have a Mac if you are gonna buy this book, future students, cause nothing gonna work otherwise and your teacher definitely won't tell you!

I looked very hard for a good book that would give me a general understanding of animate and I do think this was probably the best of what I could find. it's not perfect and I do still have questions but it does give me a good grounding. I'm still swapping between AE and animate depending on the project and not always sure which is the right choice. a reasonable book but aware that there are some topics that just aren't covered.
