“THAT’S AN AMAZING STORY, MAN!” Evangelist Todd White hears those words often. But the truth is that what Todd shares is not just a story—it’s a testimony. It is evidence not only of what God has done but of what He wants to do again. It is evidence of what God can and will do for you, of what God wants to do for you. Fully addicted to drugs and pornography as a child, Todd lived in darkness. But his testimony is about a journey from that utter darkness into marvelous light. It is about a man who hungers for the Word of God and has been radically changed by it. It is about a man learning to be exactly who God created him to be. It is about a child of God walking in the light of Jesus and wanting others to walk in the light too. With refreshing honesty, Todd White challenges readers to make Jesus their everything, to renew their minds, to be bold as lions, and to make an impact for the kingdom of God. Life Is Short —Leave a Legacy.
You might read this book to lean about Todd White rather you come out knowing who you are in Christ. Todd White challenges you to become who Jesus paid for you to become. We were never created for ourselves but we were created by Him and for Him. My favorite part of the book is the revelation of righteousness. The fruit of our conviction of righteousness will produce holiness. We are so convicted of our right standing with God that we don’t want sin cause we don’t want anything to compromise our right standing with God. God is using Todd White to encourage and be a light to the body of Christ to behold Him and become Him. To fall in love with Jesus and destroy hell for a living.
I follow a lot of Todd White's teachings, so I am pretty familiar with his testimony. Although much of the book sounded a lot like the testimonies he has shared while preaching, there was still a lot new to grasp in the written format. In the end, I love Todd White's enthusiasm of getting Christians on fire for Jesus, and reminding them that this is an all-or-nothing kind of relationship with the LORD. Give Him everything, and let Him use you for His glory with the limited amount of time we have on this earth.
I loved this book it encouraged me to use what God has given to me to share Jesus to a hurting world. I am on fire for Jesus and intend to burn bright so others will see and want Jesus for themselves 🙏🙏
Powerful Bible teaching that encourages application through the power of THE HOLY SPIRIT who is given to us through the powerful LOVE of the LORD our GOD 💯‼️
Amazing testimony! I was saved and baptized when I was 13 years old. I'm now 39, and you have me praying that God will transform me. I want God to fill my soul, my body, my mind. I thought I was living with and for Jesus before. I never realized how much more He is waiting to give me responsibility over. I believe in prayer, and I believe God can do anything. I just never realized how much fear I was holding onto. I don't share my faith often, because I'm an introvert and a million other excuses. You're so right though, how would I feel to be in line with the sheep while someone I could've shared Jesus with is standing in the line of goats? I'm praying God will light a fire in me. Thank you Todd for sharing your testimony! God bless!
Tidbits I gleaned from the book: Every place that you go, you bring the light. Often, people don't live out what they read in scripture because they don't really believe it. How can you intimately know the Father if you feel guilty all the time? Why would God give you more intimate knowledge of Him to people who aren't willing to act on what they already know? Worldly people can not take acceptance and belonging from you (reject you) because they never accepted you in the first place. True acceptance and love for who you really are can only come from the Lord.
I found it useful that he used his own testimony to make his points throughout the book and included several testimonies from other people in the back.
What a testimony! This book would be great to give to someone who needs to know Jesus is there for them, that He can transform anyone and give them new life in Him. It's also an uplifting read for seasoned Christians who could use a reminder about the Great Commission. Jesus is Love! Give it away as often as possible!
A very inspiring testimony of what Jesus can do. The story chapters are amazing to read. The teaching chapters are very dense, so you have to read very carefully to understand everything.
I do not agree with his Doctrine at all. He had some good points on living for Christ and especially getting into the word, but over all I can't agree with his Doctrine.
