Disapointment
This is a story of a guy who had a bad breakup. During his depression he meets a girl. She is dominant. Their relationship develops as does her dominance, they become closer. He likes being submissive to a point, but not enough for her. This story was as boring as this review. Granted, there were some hot sex scenes, but the story itself was not engaging. Then 90% through the book they break up. From then on it was good, until the very end…..
I’ve previously read a couple other stories by this author that were very good. Thus, my expectations for this one were high. Perhaps those expectations contributed to my disappointment. You may ask, if it was so bad, how did you get through the first 90% of the book?…….good question.

It's kind of hard for me to rate this book. There were numerous Femdom scenes that were greatly fun to read. But then the main storyline was completely boring. A consensual story going in straightline from point A to B without proper twists, and lengthened way too much by a bulk of unnecessary dialogues can be fun to read for some. I didn't enjoy at all. Another problem was that, at numerous times it gets confusing who said the sentence exactly, and as not even first the dialogues is mentioned who said it.
Nevertheless, this would be one of the few books that I've rated two starts, but I would still recommend it to those in Femdom erotica, as some of the scenes are fun to read.

I've been following Thimble for a couple of years now, and have a few of his titles on my TBR, but his latest - My Femdom Savior - is my first read . . . and it most certainly won't be my last.
This is a book goes beyond female domination (femdom) fantasies and delves deep into the establishment of a female-led relationship (FLR). Noah and Sophia talk a lot about their relationship, about what it means to submit, to put another's needs desires first, to obey without question, and to take satisfaction in a partner's pleasure. With each of them bringing some baggage into the relationship, a comfortable FLR doesn't come easy, and it doesn't come quickly. This isn't some insta-femdom fantasy, is an erotic romance about learning the rules and finding what works.
One thing I absolutely adored about this was how it explores the psychology of of the power exchange and how submission can be its own form of therapy. Noah's struggles with depression, sexual self-esteem, and impotence, and the ways in with Sophia patiently works with him to demonstrate that there are other forms of intimacy to be shared is wonderful. Together, they explore chastity, orgasm denial, role reversal, and punishment, with their relationships riding a wave of excitement and uncertainty that rings true. I understood Noah, I sympathised with him, and even if I sometimes cringed at his little acts of rebellion and defiance, I also know that's my own experience talking.
The other thing I loved about this is the fact that Sophia is not some perfect, untouchable, fantasy dominatrix. She's an altogether odd woman, a touch aloof and off-putting at first, whose fashion sense is atrocious. Once you get to know her, she's a strong, admirable young career woman, a young woman who wants to be loved, and a self-confident woman who needs to be in control. My Femdom Savior is an apt title for the journey on which she leads Noah, and the moments of darkness and frustration are what make the moment of pleasure so delightful.

DNF—This had forced feminization.
When the main female character, Sophia, called the main male character, Noah, “good girl” I overlooked it and continued reading. When she started to dress Noah in women’s clothing, that was something I really didn’t like. Domination is one thing, but humiliation through feminization is another. I couldn’t finish this because of the feminization stuff so I don’t know how far Sophia took things, if that was the end of the bad stuff or if she went for complete sissification. I am not a fan of humiliation or any of it’s sexual aspects the stories about female domination sometimes include.
The blurb on Amazon listed a number of sexual activities in the book, but forced feminization was not listed. I wish it had been disclosed so I could have made a more informed decision about the purchase of this book. Read that as I would not have purchased it.

Good story, development of characters and plot.
Ithink this is one of Thimble's better books. There are few errors which makes for more pleasant reading. Well developed characters and plot. You really don't know how it will end. You get a front row seat to hear Noah's internal struggles as he fights himself and his ghosts to realize who he is, and understand who and what Sophia is. He struggles with going deeper into submission just as I am. They struggle with their developing FLR, just as many of us do. That made it more compelling to read. It felt real.

Outstanding read.
I loved the depiction of a BDSM, FLR might truly look like. I wished the difference between a submissive and a slave would have been discussed, but it was a great read into this world.

Thimble books always deserve a reading. The character and its psychology is very well described and its style is easy to read but full of details that helps you to put in context.
This books differs from others in that it is more realistic and shows the difficulty of a Femdom relation 24 hours / 7 days a week. Whereas D/s relation may be an exciting game it can be unbearable in practice and may ultimately drive to a couple crisis, in particular when the Dominant becomes too cruel and insensible to the submissive wishes and desires. I think that Thimble has based his novel in direct personal experienced that he has had quite good access, since they seem quite natural and real.
A good novel to understand better D/s relations and our minds.

I luved this kinky romance, that it finished were it did has virtually primed a follow up novel, it seems Noah’s reaction typical of an emasculated young man rather than cherishing his indoctrination into submission, if ever so easy? Maybe one day you can obsess more g/s and humiliation.

I enjoyed the realness of this book. The male protagonist wasn't some hunk or some total loser, but a normal (albeit successful) guy struggling with self esteem. And his domme wasn't some drop dead gorgeous automaton who was always in control. They both made mistakes and they talked their way through them. And, as always with Thimble's books, there's a lot of hot, femdom!
There are some people who like stories and real characters with their erotica, and there are some people who don't. This is a book for the first group.
