We met by chance, by crazy circumstance.
Forced together by events out of our control
Neither of us were looking.
Neither of us were wanting what we found.
Both scarred. Both scared. Both hiding.
Only, one of us is undeserving.
One of us is lying, faking … taking advantage.
The face I present to the world is a farce and my act has been perfected, now it’s first class.
Taking a chance is a risk to us both
But it can’t be ignored, because not only is it her name, it’s what she gives me…
Hope.
Some sins can never be erased. If I get too close… if she finds out…
I’ll be replaced.

Please note this is not a stand alone. This is the third and final book in the Advance Industries series. Books 1 and 2 will need to be read first in order to make sense of the story.

An absolutely superb book in the Advance Industries series from K.A. Duggsy. This authors writing just keeps getting better and better, and book three in this series is simply wonderful.

Please ensure you have read the first two books in the series before picking this one up. It is part of a series and you really do need to have a full understanding of everything that has happened.

Ever since I knew that KA was going to be writing this book about Cal and Hope I was so excited. I loved Cal in the first two books, but it was wonderful to finally get more from him and see different sides to him and explore him on a more personal level. And what better person to do that with, than alongside Faith's sister, Hope.

"He's so good at spreading joy, at making people relax around him. He's addictive. I remember him warning me I could get addicted and as usual, he was spot on. Every new thing I discover about this man just makes me want to discover more..."

Cal has always been the fun guy. The one who seems so laid back, relaxed and up for fun and games. Never appearing to take life too seriously, in this book we truly see more of him. We see how deeply his past and his insecurities haunt him, and the impact that has on his life now. Cal is still fun, and still the Cal we have come to love, just with many more layers. And his love and respect for Hope is wonderful. He's see's parts of her that no one else has ever been given the opportunity to see...

"You're funny Hope, determined and you're smart. Not street smart but you're no fool. Don't put yourself down. I wish you could see what I do."

Hope is a wonderful character. I really fell in love with her in this story. Her innocence is simply brilliant - the questions she asks, her lack of understanding, the way she acts, all creates her into a really loveable heroine of the story. But for all of her innocence and lack of experience in life, she is also incredibly clever, intelligent, sassy and determined. But she also has this sweetness about her. She is kind, caring and I just love how her feelings develop for Cal, although she won't be taken for a ride either!

This book is full of the the emotions and feels. It is filled with everything - happiness, sadness, joy. It also has moments of real humour with some brilliant banter and exchanges between the characters.

"Defying You" You're not my keeper, I already told you, you can't tell me what I can and can't do. You can try, but inevitably you'll lose." She grins.
"I never lose, beautiful, not if it's something I want badly enough."

I loved seeing the secondary characters in this story as well. Obviously seeing plenty from Faith and Kye, as well as the other men too. And I said it after book 2, and I'll say it again, I'd still like more from Trask and maybe even Saunders!!

I loved Cal and Hopes relationship, the development throughout the book and how everything pans out. I just love these two as a couple. There isn't quite as much drama in this story as in the first books, but it's a different type of story, and a different tale being told. It really is a story of hope, survival and strength. It is romantic and filled with so much love.

I do have a few questions, and for me there are a few things left unanswered that I wish I knew what happened, but that's okay.... I think I can survive with that, and maybe, just maybe, it gives scope for more to come in the series in the future...

KA's writing really is brilliant and I can't wait to see what she brings us next!! A must-read book as part of a very special series which I would highly recommend.

***** 5 'beautiful' stars *****

Since I LOVED the first two books in this series, I was excited to read this third installment and it certainly did NOT disappoint!!! Even though this story primarily featured different characters, it drew me in and hooked me right from the start! The author's writing style brings the characters to life and as a result the story played on my emotions and I found myself really "feeling" for the characters. I would definitely recommend this book, as well as the rest of the series, to all lovers of dystopian and fantasy novels!

I very much enjoyed reading book 3 in K.A. Duggsy’s Advance Industries Series. After the ending of book 2, I really had no idea what K.A. would have in store for this one, and boy did she deliver! I love that this series is always so different and not to mention, I got a better sense of what happened with the people involved with Advance Industries. This series is one that I know I’ll read again and again just because it’s not a typical paranormal book.
In Advantage, I really enjoyed reading more about Callan and Hope. If you’ve read the series, they pop up every now and again, but I wasn’t expecting them to have a story. I’m super glad they did though. Callan seems like he has everything together, but does he really? His character was one that I found interesting but also frustrating because he has so many inner demons. Hope on the other hand, was like a fresh breath of air. She’s so innocent, kind, and brutally honest. She was very intriguing because everything is so new to her, and I liked how she didn’t let her past stop her from living.
Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Advantage. I definitely couldn’t put it down once I started and when it ended I was a little sad. I know I’m hoping for more, because there’s some things I want to know more about. I can only impatiently wait for the next one, and I highly recommend checking this one and this series out.

Just when you think this series can't get any better, K.A. Duggsy brings us Hope and Callan.

There is less action than the earlier installments as this is completely character driven. And there were no better characters to drive this story forward than Hope and Cal.

Hope is a breadth of fresh air and seeing the world through her eyes is refreshing and endearing. Her naivety in all things relationship related brings an interesting dynamic to the story that tests Cal's patience and resolve. A lot of firsts for Hope that in turn provides Cal with his own hope. Cal comes across as confident and strong but this outward persona is hiding a broken man who feels he is undeserving.

This was an emotive and beautifully written book that brought all the feels. Hope got under my skin in a way that very few have done before. Congratulations to K.A. Duggsy on an awesome book and a fantastic series.

I am a huge fan of the first 2 books in this series and was so excited for this book. Her story's are different but at the same time they are easy to get hooked on.

Callan was great! He was funny but deep down, you can sense that he has personal issues. He was laid back for the most part with the zest that you can't but smile at.

Hope had to learn a new way of thinking in life. I really loved how resilient she was even when she was scared. Her innocence was one of her best qualities. It made her more real and she was able to admit when she was wrong.

This book is about two people who are trying to learn a new normal and overcome their pasts. I was hooked. Both characters were amazing and their love was priceless. There are some twists and turns but it's all part of the ride.

Overall, I loved it. The author uses such amazing detail but kept us interested without going overboard. This series is different but at the same time, its invigorating. The feelings we feel, the laughs we laugh, the book makes you feel genuine feelings. So sit back and enjoy the ride! 4.5 stars #2OCCJD

The first two books in this trilogy absolutely blew me away, K A Duggsy is a talented author that writes with so much thought provoking detail and depth that the characters she writes about become so realistic that you cant help but form some sort of emotional attachment to them concerning their welfare and happiness. I have been on tenterhooks waiting for Cal and Hope's story because of the build up to get here the anticipation of what to expect from this third and final book, wondering how it would all come to an end was pure agony. We get to see Cal the big joker and all round team player become enraptured and captivated by the innocence of Hope one of Faith's younger sisters that was rescued from the lab's of Advance Industries. They have an easy and playful friendship that turns into to a heat fueled attraction that leads to Cal showing a part of himself that no one knows about, he hides a tragic dark secret that stops him from getting to close to anyone until Hope comes along and tries to push past his barriers that he has put up around his heart.
So many tender moments shared between them pulled at my heart, for the suffering that they both have endured from the abuse of the scientists at the lab's for Hope to the terrible life that Cal had growing up with his stepfather and his useless uncaring mother. This is a story of survival and Hope and of learning to trust in someone who can show you that you are worthy of being loved no matter what you think about yourself.
This series will always remain one of my favorites so much so that I pretty much begged the author to write more as I dont want it to come to an end.
Kelly you totally deserve everyone of these 5 stars for your talent of writing such amazing gripping and heart wrenching stories!

Loved reading this book! I already love this series and watching the author take a character that seems so nonchalant and devil may care attitude, and just completely turns that on it's head inside out so we see his insecurities was amazing! Cal is quite a character and I think I probably liked him best in this book. The man has more layers than an onion and you just have to keep peeling them back to find out more about who he truly is. Hope is an equally intriguing character who also seems very sweet. The two make a good pair, no matter how complicated the two of them are. It's because of that that they understand each other so well. I must admit, I thought there might be a little more about the labs than there was, but it didn't take away from the story line in any way. Great read!!

Book 1 and 2 left me in awe, book 3 had a lot to live up-to but what can I say, I love Kye and Faith from Advance and Advancing l and was skeptical anyone could take from them, I'm pleased to say they still hold the top spot, but they might share it a little.

Cals story is so uniquely different, his journey with Hope shows a different side to him, we don't lose the boyish charm or sense of humour we have grown to love, but instead find a vulnerable and raw side. A Cal that has a hidden but beautiful nature that he shows in the way he cares and and his love for Kye and Faith but his ever growing love for Hope.

This story is on par, but it gives you so many feels and emotions and you see the make up of Cal so beautifully revealed and who Hope is.

KA manages to pull everything from me and then some with every book. This Story ARC started in book 1 just gets better and better and there is so many layers to it I adore it I love the fact you still get to see and feel all the other characters and can not wait for the next instalment

I'm excited to see what happens next with all the possibilities x

5 Stars xx

I honestly did not think this series could get any better.. How wrong was I!!!
This book will tug at your heartstrings, it'll evoke emotions inside you that you did not think you had.
Cal is brilliant, he's completely taken over as my book boyfriend, he's funny, protective, hot and an all round amazing guy.
Hope is sweet, gorgeous, a little naive and I'd say a little broken.
I cannot believe one of my favourite series has come to an end. Seriously. As much as I'll miss it, what an absolutely perfect way to end.
This book is about trust, it's about surviving, its about overcoming your fears, it's about friendship and love.
The writing is - as usual, incredible. The characters are my favourite characters in a series!! The storyline is phenomenal, descriptive, yet not too much that it's annoying. I adored everything about this book, what are you waiting for? You NEED to read it!!
5 stars from me! - If I could give it more, I truly would.

This book is part of a series, and it needs to be read in order, or you will be completely lost. This is the story of Hope and Cal. We have come to know a little about these characters from the other books, but now we get their story. Faith and Kye are still mentioned in this book, but the focus has shifted to Hope and Cal. This is a well written story with great characters. MY only issue is that the author has left some things unanswered, like did Faith have the baby? Or did anyone actually marry. I want the ending, not more questions. I guess that is the sign of a good author, one that leaves you wanting more. I hope that there will be a 4th book, one that answers the questions I have.

I loved the first two books in the Advance Industries series. Now we get to finally see Cal and Hope in their own story. Their romance is not without twists and turns. Hope is sassy, determined and her innocence only intrigues the reader to want to learn more about her.
Cal, we saw from the other two books is the funny guy and hides some scars of his own. He hides his dark secret and it hinders his ability to get close to anyone.
The playful relationship the two have allow for an emotional yet realistic relationship to form. Hope is the one who pushes his boundaries warming her way into his heart. Moments they share pull at your heart finding it hard to put the book down.
This is a great romance story, with jokes, hope, some twists and a fun swoon worthy story of a great heroine and her beau. This series remains one of my favorites and hope there may be more to come.
