Married to the love of his life, father to a young son and working at a great job, Harold Pearson had everything he'd ever wanted. But a tragic death sent him spiraling out of control. Alienating everyone who cared about him, he drifted into a life of alcohol and homelessness. Now twenty years later his life was about to make another drastic change. A little black puppy and a bottle of wine from a stranger would be the catalyst for an amazing transformation. But there would be a price to pay in the form of a secret he can never reveal and a violent enemy he didn't know he'd created.
Thanks to Paul Elmore for this awesome book. I enjoyed all aspects of this book. It had great emotions and having a dog as one of the main heroes is right up my alley. Please write another but please don't take 20 years (lol).
Set primarily in Seattle, interesting premise. The book has a good storyline and is well written, throw in a dog, good people doing good things against bad people, a little love and you’ve got a worthwhile read!
