After years of searching for it, I was finally able to grab an affordable copy of this elusive sequel to Full Moon Soup.
Essentially it's more of the same, though it gets even more crazy, and then some. The author (= artist) has created a connection to 'Full Moon Soup' and it doesn't matter at all that it is rather far-fetched.
Again the joy is in discovering a sequence of events: You study the two-page scene with a hundred little scenes, events and characters to discover; this includes - like in the previous book - framed pictures on the wall and pieces of equipment that may just come to life. Then you can go back and forth: how did this come about, what happened and - what will become of it?
Nostalgic- this was a childhood book of mine and I have just spent 2 hours searching for it after vividly remembering part of it but with no recollection of the title. Gutted that it is out of print so hoping I can find my childhood copy at some point. I loved how detailed it is and how you can make up your own story.
