Jailbreak #3

Jail 'Em

Rate this book
I got Jai back, found Maeve's stone and freed the female wolves of Harvest Grove, so that should be it, right?
Of course not.
Right as I'm trying to find a way to bring my pack together, a new danger emerges.
The stone, the Institute, even my unborn children, they're all part of a much bigger plan, one that could result in the world's population being enslaved.
I just want my children to be born healthy and safe, but it appears to make that happen, we need to save the world as well.

I enjoyed it, but man, the ratio of sex to plot shot way up in this book, and it made parts really drag. I was skimming the smut by the end, just wanting to get down to the big story wrap up already.

Jail 'EM is the third and final book in Sam Hall's Jailbreak series and it was completely savage, I loved it. Between Shannon trying to figure out what exactly she is and what she can do, the navigation of a new complex relationship and all that in tales, and dealing with an evil organization that is hell-bent on making their lives miserable then throw in an ancient wolf queen who is sending messages, things got really crazy which made for fantastic entertainment.

Shannon and the guys have been through a lot but they all support each other even Gadan is jumping on board. Their relationship is taken to whole new levels in this one, they are starting to realize what a gift they have in each other and are coming together. All the guys love and support Shannon and now they have come together with each other to form a pack, a pride, a family. Speaking of family, a few familiar faces make a reappearance but there are a couple of fresh faces and the struggles of a new relationship meeting family are most definitely present and a source of entertainment. Shannon and the guys need all the support they can get, they've been through some troubling times together and have formed a deep bond, not only from all the gloriously steamy scenes that Sam manages to fit into this book but through emotions as well. The group really connected on another level in this book and the way Sam wrote it was very creative.

Another thing Sam did was blend the events of the past with what was happening in the present to a prophesize future. Everything is connected and Sam did an amazing job building rich and dramatic histories, added to the shifter mythology, and has even connected this book series with another, Jailbreak and Reach for the Moon are set in the same world. I love it. This being the final book in the series a lot of things were revealed, and questions were answered. Honestly, when all the threads were pulled together and everything was revealed I was sorta shocked, I mean everything made perfect sense but there were some aspects I didn't see coming which lead to me having a few questions, wondering if I missed something.

Makes no difference Jail 'Em was a fantastic conclusion to the Jailbreak series, I revealed in every single minute of it. Not only did the story have a happy ending but it also gave an opening for a spin-off series. I know Sam was considering one but it depends on the readers, I'm really hoping she does though because not only was Mongerl an interesting character but it connects two series together and those possibilities can be wonderful.

Sam Hall once again takes us on a journey with Jail ‘Em, the final book in the Jailbreak series—and what a ride it was!!! Hall is a true mastermind at weaving magical tales that take you on emotional roller coasters of a ride and this book did NOT disappoint!!! Full of amazing characters that we know and love, endless edge of your seat action and suspense, tons of sexy steamy scenes that leave you panting for more and a storyline that captures you from the start and pulls you right in, this book is a definite must read and the perfect conclusion to a well loved series!!!

Jail ‘Em starts off where Nail ‘Em left off, taking us on a magical journey reconnecting with Shannon and her men and diving further into the legend of Maeve, The Wolf Queen. And man, was it good to be back in their world! I loved getting to learn more about Maeves's life and how closely it mirrored Shannon’s and finding out more about what was to come for Shannon and her mates—and possibly their unborn babies. Seeing how much their relationships and bonds grow and strengthen with each hardship they endure is powerful and the way it all comes together at the end is perfection!

I love how each of Shannon's mates add to the dynamics of the pack, strengthening their connections through steadfast love and belief and how they continue to grow and evolve throughout the series as they deal with continued obstacles, challenges and of course battling evil at every turn! And I mean those hot sexy scenes aren’t too shabby either! ;)

Overall if you’re a fan of action packed, steamy RH’s with unforgettable characters and an amazing world full of mystery, intrigue and mythical ties then this series is for you! This book was the perfect completion to the Jailbreak series, and that ending was utter perfection!!!

FINALLY!! Book 3 and the conclusion of the Jailbreak-series was the most anticipated book from Sam for me! And after reading it...and rereading....and rereading, I can leave Shannon and her boys with a content feeling. What a ride. Book 3 was so full of action, the absolute whirlwind. I was pleased to see that Shannon and her men took their time to connect even though they were literally hunted. And OMG Gaden. I really liked the way Gaden and Shannon found to each other...there was no insta-love, more like attraction, but oh how Gaden resisted. I liked the way he found his way in a new love, a new family, without erasing his history with his first mate. He honors her and will not stop honoring her but he makes room for Shannon in his heart and mind. The other men are all strong in their connection to Shannon. I like that they each are so very different with her and each other. From bullheaded alpha, prideful leader to big hearted loverboy - you find a bit of everything in the harem. I am very pleased with the ending, even though I was drenched in sweat while reading the `big final battle´.

This is the final installment of the series.
In the beginning of the book Shannon is trying to balance the new bond between Jai and Caleb both being dominant shifters with a new bond. That scene is just so well written. It's as hot as you know Sam Hall writes it but it also has this moment between Caleb and Jai that is just so caring. Seeing the beginnings of the inner workings of the pack-pride.They are continuing to be stuck dealing with danger at every turn. You can feel the tension and anxiety as things just keep changing so fast. But they are able to make time for each other, which balances it out. We learn the history of Maeve and how it ties in with Shannon and her men. As a bonus Gloria, Nero's mom is amazing and I loved her addition to the story.
I don't want to give more away but this book has answered all of my questions that I had from the other books in the series. The ending is everything I could have hoped for and more!!

So I’ve been on this journey from the start… If I should go back and look at my reviews, Nail’em was probably my first ARC for Sam Hall. And what a freaking wild ride it was.

From book 1 Shannon has grown into such an amazing character. She was a little meek, a little run down by the oldies in the village and hiding away who she was. I had never read a forced proximity romance before and I LOVED it.

And I’ve only grown more attached to this series as time wore on. Shannon is a powerhouse (Pun intended) and her relationships with the men have evolved in such a graceful way. There is obviously an insane amount of hot smexy times that do not leave you hanging and there is gooey squishy bits that make me very very happy to have followed along for this journey.

Sam has also put an insane amount of thought and research into the cultural and mystical portions of the book. And it shows.

Honestly this is a another smash hit. I love it. I can’t wait to see what Sam does next.

Shan and her guys start out still running from Dain. There is nowhere safe for them. Shan is being guided by Maeve but her “directions” are cryptic. Shannon is learning how to use her power and there is so much of it! I love how she is helping so many people along the way, especially the guys. They have been stuck in these endless cycles of guilt and are finally being set free from those burdens enabling them to open up and deepen their relationship with Shan. My absolute favorite scene in the entire book is Shan helping Gaden. It’s so emotional and perfect. I could just reread that part over and over. I didn’t love all the flashbacks to Maeve and her story. I just wanted more of the present. I love the big cats and wolves. The alphas made this book really hot! It was an amazing series!

I waited patiently/impatiently for this one & it's finally here!

This was the first series of Sam Halls that I read & the final instalment was so action packed.

This series covers shifters, secret labs & experiments, ancient folklore, an evil supervillian, hot harem members & some Dr Doolittle powers.

I could not put it down, do I have a favourite character... well it likely depends on who has their shirt off the time.
Sam- always keep their shirts off!

Kaz & Nero relationship is so nurturing & fierce, because... Lions & Tigers... oh my!

Caleb & Jai work out their Alpha wolf issues to help protect & create this pack

Zanes easy go lucky panther vibes help settle Galen's snow leopard aloofness & trauma.

This series was great & introduced me to one of my favourite authors.

The long anticipated conclusion to the Jailbreak series is here and it was well worth the wait! Sam Hall was able to create magic in this series with great world building, a strong and likeable MC and the perfect harem for Shannon. If you've been waiting to see what develops with Gaden in the pack/pride then you will not be disappointed. The relationship growth between Shannon and her mates was beautiful, I loved the extended family 's positive role and how the past came to a head to reach the present and take out Dain. There was so many sweet moments, heat, action and growth. The HEA was everything I hoped for in this series. Sam really knows how to end a series without leaving you feeling empty.

In the third and final book of the Jailbreak trilogy, Shannon finally gets her HEA, but it doesn’t come without a fight. Our pack has to face some serious obstacles; figure out a long awaited prophecy, beat the baddie and consolidate their pack, and as always, Sam Hall manages to do this with aplomb.
The story is engaging and well paced, and I’m so happy that Shannon finally had a chance to put her feet up at the end of this, that poor girl deserved it!
The series is an interesting new take on the girl-meets-shifter story and I loved seeing the dynamics of the different species. I’m also very much looking forward to Mongrel and his boys getting their own storyline in future ;) All in all, a very satisfying conclusion to this series, and I would highly recommend.

Jail ‘Em is the 3rd and final book in the Jailbreak series. I absolutely loved this series. Its dark and disturbing themes are what really roped me in. Oh, and its super smexy times between Shan and her men helped as well!!

I have to admit that up until a couple of years ago, I never really read any books in the paranormal genre, but I saw quite a few recs that piqued my interest and Sam Hall was one author that really opened my eyes to what I had been missing. Since then, I have read most of her series!!! The character development throughout is top notch and the way Sam Hall submerses you into the brilliantly written worlds she creates leaves you craving and needing more.

This book is the perfect ending for the series. Exceptional!!!

I am really looking forward to seeing what Sam has in store for us next.

I loved it! What a great ending to the series. The amount of love the septuplet group has for Shannon and Shannon for the, is so heartwarming. And the bad guy is truly icky. You really hate him. A classic tale of good vs evil while also being a winner in feminism and female empowerment.

Positive vibes for women with the main character, Shannon, and other new minor female characters. Really speaks to the power that women have: their strength in living, dying, raising husbands, kids, warriors, working, all of the above. A female friendly book!

If you loved the first two, you will love the finale!

Wishing this series could go on a bit more, but every good tale must come to an end, and Sam out did herself on this book and series. Truly this has been one of my favorites (aside from the Pack heat series). With captivating characters that you can easily love and some you can villainize, there are many twists in this one and many flashbacks to her counterpart in the past too. Yes, this is a RH so there are many steamy scenes too some finally coming into the fold of their pack/pride don’t forget this is the last book of the series so make sure to read the first two books Tail’Em and Nail’Em before diving into this delicious addition!!

This is a great story and a perfect completion to the Jailbreak series. We get more glimpses in to Maeve’s story throughout this book, but it’s necessary in order to really understand the past and what’s going on now.

Shannon’s found her mates and does everything in her power to keep them all save, the babies included. It’s a wild ride racing the clock with an unknown expiration date against an invisible enemy. They have to continually watch their backs, which is exhausting.

The end of chapter 42 left me shocked, but everything ended up working out. Shannon and her mates earned their happy ever after.

What a ride the Jailbreak series has been. Jail ‘Em, the third and final book in the series, does not disappoint.

The tale that Sam Hall weaves is one of suspense, with the story following Shannon and her pack of shifters through tests of familial obligations and commitment to eachother. We are introduced more thoroughly to the legend of Maeve The Wolf Queen, her brother, and Dain, an integral part of the story.

As always there was epic world building, unforgettable characters, and lots, LOTS of smexy time. If you’re a fan of Ms. Hall’s books, this series should shoot straight to the top of your TBR.

So I patiently waited for this book and the day is here to read this ending to and amazing series. I love that there are shifters here but also that this is a mixture of experiments, secret labs and many more. Sam can pull it of and the story is easy to read, full of action and all that. Getting peace of mind is what Shannon wants but not this time around yet. The prophecy is awaiting and needs to be fulfilled. Luckily Shannon has had enough and does what she needs to do and try and end it. The relationship development and character growth is so good. Love this series and is a must read for shifter lovers.

All about connection

Great ending for this series. We get to see Shannon and her mates as they continue their epic journey guided by Maeve and her cryptic messages. They may have started out as strangers but we continue to see their relationship beautifully and organically grown over this series.

I don't like to pick favorites (Gaden and Kaz) but each of Shannon's mate strengthen her, through the connection, love and care that give her. I really enjoyed that we got a view of the past and also go to meet the present mates family.

Another good series from Sam....keep them coming

a very wild ride with a very right ending

If you are a fan of Sam Hall you know she brings the heart and lust like a me to punch that leaves you aching so good you’re loopy. This book 3 of a set of 3, is no different in that regard. What’s glaringly different is how quickly you fall in the hurt and heart ache. She has touched dark material in past books, but this series definitely flips some dark content to you in unique ways, it has trigger warnings that need to be believed. All in all it’s a fantastic story with fantastical takes at lore and mythos that entertains and enthralls. A great way to lose some hours away from pandemics and isolation.

"Can't believe is time to say goodbye to this series. This is always the hardest part of loving... to let go. I finished the book a few days ago and my heart still aching for the lost but this bittersweet feelings is worth the ending. What a beautiful and special way to say goodbye to them. As someone who doesn't want that ending as her happily ever after still my silly heart cried for them and their happiness. It wasn't an easy path that's for sure but at the end their love and pack bond was worth everything. The kind of connection you risk everything to have it. A huge shoutout to Sam for broken my heart and then put the pieces back together. Couldn't have love it more. Perfect ending!"

Wow!!!!! That was… fantastic! This was the final book in the series and it definitely kept up with the other books in the series. Which were awesome as well. We finally see all of her Shannons mates get on board with her new “pack/family” of mates she’s created. FINALLY! I’ve been waiting on that one to join! 😂 The storyline and plot was both perfectly paced and fast paced! It kept you wanting to flip the next page as soon as you started reading the new page! Overall it was a great read, at the end it got slightly confusing as it all came to a climax but ultimately it all made sense in the end!

Solid ending to a great series!
I really enjoyed this series (but I love all of Sam's books). I've loved getting to know these characters over the three books and watching Shannon's relationships grow with each of her mates. I highly recommend reading this book shortly after the second (or refreshing your recollection of the 2nd book), since there is a secondary (parallel) story about Maeve being told.

This is a well-written book that has themes of acceptance, coming to terms with grief/loss and exploring what makes a family whole. Of course, there is plenty of steam and equal parts sweetness. Overall this was a fantastic conclusion to a very enjoyable series.

I enjoyed the story, but struggled a bit through it, the amount of smut in between plot advancements was taking me out a bit and I had to take breaks from the book ;)
The relationship with Gaden forming slowly through the series was such a beautiful thing in the end. I loved how caring and sweet he was in the epilogue. It was great to see all the families come together for Shannon's pack, I was glad to see Hellers back in their son's life. The ending bummed me out a bit though, they all wanted to be together and it seemed like half of her mates were more away than with the rest of them. Kaz being a househusband was the best thing ever.

Shannon and her guys have returned to piece together the last bits of the puzzle and fight their final battle. This book is about so much more than that though. The connection in this one between Shannon and her mates is some of Sam’s best. They have been through so much and been tested time and again. They continue to prove that they are strongest together. Seeing them with their extended families brought moments of levity and beauty amid the chaos and uncertainty. This final installment was really everything I could have hoped for for this group.

The final in the trilogy, Jail em is a big monster, in terms of the amount of information Sam Hall has to impart and some of the characters in this massive story. This series started in Australia and by the end we are in Ireland. I loved the Celtic imagery and the flash backs/dream sequences. Things are pretty hot and heavy and I am totally here for it. This ending was satisfying and bittersweet, I'm not keen to say goodbye to these characters but I really hope that inspiration allows Sam to continue stories in this world.

What a great ending to a series. I absolutely loved the relationship growth between Shannon and her mates. They definitely proved that they are strongest when they are together. I love how strong Shannon is, she fights and doesn’t give up. She is written very well, but so are all of the other characters. Their development is what draws you into the story. You will definitely be engaged as you read, with lots of action/twists as they work towards their HEA. I recommend you give this book a try, it is a great series. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It has been one wild ride after another reading about Shannon coming to terms with each of her mates as well as overcoming her past holds and accepting what the future may entail. I think this last book tied this series up perfectly and do recommend that you read the other two previous books. The steam, as always, was extremely hot and constantly adds to bonding relationships each character has with one another. I'm really appreciate Sam Hall's ability to wrap the story up without too much frustrations even with a series hangover, I'm happy with how it all came together.

An action packed, steamy ride with an amazing ending to this series. These characters are some of my favorites. I love getting to see their relationships strengthen throughout the books and how much everyone is willing to work together to be with Shannon. I really loved getting to see Maeves's life and how close it resembles Shannon. I am so glad that Dain finally got what he deserved and that the other shifter will finally be freed. I loved getting to see Shannon's birthing scene and the year after. Perfect. Such a great ending!

Twisting turning breath holding page turning

Oh my gracious! The twists and turns in this book had me angsty, breath holding, and scrambling to turn the pages faster. Sometimes the drama got so high I had to put it down to settle. Just to come back page turning and nail biting. I never saw the twist in the prophecy coming. I honestly thought it was gonna end in another cliff hanger then pow the resolution jumped up and punched me in the feels. Sam Hall knocked another one out of the park.
