This is a sexy, kinky, but also sweetly romantic tale that is billed as fiction but reads like a true story - and maybe it is, at least in part, because the author does seem to have first-hand knowledge of the BDSM world she writes about. Many stories about BDSM relationships are unrealistic but this one feels very believable.

I enjoyed this story about Tina and Barry and her introduction by him to the BDSM world that she got a small taste of in the book 'Initiation'. In this story she gets taken to a kink club where she can meet others involved with the lifestyle and experience a scene there with others. She finally finds the exhilaration that she's seen and read about in BDSM literature and videos. I liked how the end of the story focused on Tina and Barry's relationship or lack of one and what to do about it. I'm hoping there are more stories in this series because I want to read more. I received a review copy from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Tina is really excited. Tonight Barry is going to take her to her very first BDSM experience. She's apprehensive, not knowing what is going to happen, what she's going to see and what is expected of her.
As they arrive at the cub her nerves are immediately put to rest as she is warmly welcomed by the "door girl". Is Tina expected to do something in return for the woman giving her free entry? Is she also going to have her first FF encounter. Will Barry want her to play with him as well, and what about the friends they have met there?
Tina's excitement as she enters the building is so easy to feel and I loved that I got to start this journey with her. What other surprises does Barry have in store for her.
Highly recommended read.

This is book 2 of the series, and I love how cryptic Barry is. I don't have an idea how he feels about Tina. So used to dual POV, this is at the same time both frustrating and intriguing. I love that he's this untouchable almost Christian Gray character.

I'm really enjoying this series. It's about a woman writing a BDSM article with a "personal touch". Her boss accidentally received her article as a work email. He offered to be her tutor and temporary Dom, but nothing else was discussed. So it's left up in the air. Let's see what happens next.
