Unconditional love

Chocolate Delights by Tamika Brown is a excellent and emotional read. Tamika Brown did a good job. It’s well written and it’s phenomenal page.

I’m happy that Chantel leaves her toxic marriage with Keith behind and start her new fresh to other city for her career as diner. Keith is a toxic man for Chantel. Chantel deserve to take all penny from her ex husband. Chantel and Jamal want to take their friendship to the next level. I’m happy that Jamal rescues Chantel from her past relationship. Chantel finds her king and Jamal finds his queen.

I can’t wait to read part two for this book. I want to know what’s announcement for them to telling their friends and family about their secrets.

Chantel TRUE Love...

It was like the perfect time for Chantel and Jamal to take their budding liking for one another to the next level. I definitely don’t fault Chantel on leaving her husband Keith when her life was threatened. She deserved every last penny she took from their bank account. She should be proud of her strength though for still opening a diner in which was successful. I loved that Jamal knew something wasn’t right and looked for her until he found her. At the end of the day Chantel found her her true prince and somebody who will always protect her!

Sometimes the past will catch up with you

Chantal and Jamal who were attracted to each other for quite awhile and just when they are starting to get to know each other with Jamal giving his life story more than Chantal
we are taken to the point where her past catches up with her invading her present life that she worked so hard to achieve, but Jamal with the help of friends he makes sure the last time he saw her wasn't the very last time of them being together.

Plot holes

This is a short story, about 85 pages long. Even though it is a short story, it should not have such large plot holes. It seems the author does not have a clear understanding of how basic things work, like banking. It would not take four years to find someone who moved a few hours away, did not change their name, and opened a bank account by depositing cashier’s checks from the bank they withdrew the money from, and opened a business named after them. Even the climatic ending had unrealistic elements.

I was looking for short books to read and wanted to enjoy this. I did not read the description of the book and went in blindly. I assumed from the start that I was reading from a woman's point of view until it was clarified, which didn't take long. The story was moving along well but felt rushed toward the middle. I wish it would have been a bit longer to really get through the plot. This could easily be re-released as a full book or an extended version. It has potential to be a great book. I will give this author more reads and try some of her full books.

Jamal & Chantel.

It was cute. I liked that this novella started to develop a storyline so it had more “meat” on its bones than the average novella would. I honestly didn’t find a connect between the title and the plot… I was thinking sexy sex sexxxx !
But overall, I liked the love interests and how Jamal was down for Chantel from day one and held her down thru the abuse she endured.

Lust, passion ending with love

I absolutely love the idea of a romantic short story which Tamika successfully writes. The beginning was filled with so much lust and desire I thought that might be all I was reading, but she surprised me when her characters found love and happily ever after.

Nice story

This is my first time reading this author's book. I enjoyed Chantel and Jamal's story. I see the genuine love that Jamal had for Chantel. He showed up at her house for dinner with a pair of slacks on. By the time she was on his lap he was in jeans 🤣. It didn't take away from the story I just noticed it. I Look forward to reading more of her work.

Jamal was determined to get to know the woman he'd been smitten with for three years.....

Stepping out on faith he pursues Chantel and a relationship begins to blossom....

This is a good love story. This was a nice build up for two people who were attracted to each other. Chantel was running for her past which caught up to her while in the mist of falling for Jamal. This give a little bit of drama touches the past of each character and genuine love.

This book was so good. I loved Chantel and Jamal. Chantel because she did what she had to do to get her freedom and Jamal for tiredlessly waiting for her to say yes to just a date. This story is full of angst, a little suspense, and a whole lot of love.

Taking a leap of faith

I'm so glad that Chantel took a chance on love. Jamal wanted Chantel for so long and finally she let her walls down. This was a good read.
