My next big adventure is running a goat farm. I just need a few lessons from the cowboy who’s been volunteered to help.

Joji
Nearly the big 5-0, I decide it’s time to put down roots, but life without adventure is no fun. So, I buy a goat farm.

I anticipate smelly livestock and a steep learning curve because I’ve never owned even a parakeet, let alone a four-legged creature.

What surprises me is the redhead-hating, built-like-a-linebacker cowboy who’s supposed to teach me all about goats. He doesn’t seem to like those either.

Clint
I enjoy the routine of working as a ranch foreman. I have no desire to invite chaos into my quiet life by adding a woman to the mix. So when my boss gives me the job of teaching the redheaded Joji about goat farming, I’m less than pleased.

She’s my opposite in every way. She’s short. I’m tall. I’m quiet. She talks up a storm.

Enchanted with her, I find reasons to return even after she’s learned all she needs to know. If I can’t figure out how to move past hurts that have haunted me for years, I’ll break her heart.

I’m pretty sure that would be worse than getting trampled by a bull.

Y'all! Welcome back to Stargazer Springs Ranch where you'll find good lookin' cowboys and feisty women full of sass, all trying their hardest not to fall in love. Little do they know, fate has something special in store for each and every one of them.

Joji has spent her entire adult life travelling the world and looking for her next adventure. But now all she wants to do is put down some roots and enjoy being close to family. So she purchases a goat farm. Who cares if she has zero clue how to run it. She's never been one to turn down an adventure. And y'all. Goats can definitely be an adventure!

Clint has an aversion to redheads and goats. He does his best to stay away from both. So imagine his surprise when his boss tells him he's going to be teaching their new redheaded neighbor the ins and outs of goats. To say he isn't happy about it would be an understatement. But Beau refuses to budge. How has this become his life?

Joji and Clint, while complete opposites, are pretty perfect for each other. They balance each other out and make each other better. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop. Joji is the absolute best! I seriously love her! She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to go out at get it. I want to be just like her when I grow up! Clint could be a bit dense at times and definitely stubborn but, y'all, ya can't help but love them man! These two are definitely one of my favorite couples of all times! I loved watching them get their HEA!

Y'all. I am loving Stargazer Springs Ranch! It's such a fun setting and the people are pretty amazing. I always love seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I cannot wait to dive into all their books.

I adore Ms. Carrington's books! I can always count on her to suck me in from the very beginning and not let me go until the very end. Her books are the perfect break from reality! I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!

As for my casting.. this was a fun one! I think they're pretty perfect. What do you think?

2nd book in what is turning out to be a great series.

Joji and Clint were so dang cute. Such great chemistry and banter. It was all these little banter moments that drew them closer together but also wove their web around me too. I became so invested in their slow burn love story, that there were times I wanted to shake Clint and make him see what was right in front of him.

But Remi does an amazing job of weaving a tale that I knew I would be in for a great ride and she didn’t disappoint.

A definite must read.

I received I complimentary copy from the author and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

Cutest Sweet Read!

Oh my word, these two are the cutest! I loved Joji from the first time she was introduced, but her and Clint’s story was just better than I could’ve imagined. What a great reminder that not all HEAs have to come early in life to be perfect.

Loved this rom-com!

It's so wonderful to find a good Rom-com with older people in the leads. Both my, now, husband and I were well over 40 when we married, both of us for the first time. And I know several couples like us, ones who married too late to have kids. So thanks, Remi, for both this book and "Wrangling Lilith", and I'm looking forward to reading Ava's story.

After reading Lilith’s story, I was so excited to continue on with the series. This one is a slow burn that I found a bit repetitive. I really wish we got to see more relationship development. Also, I was a bit confused about the whole Cami situation. I do still love these characters and the setting. I will continue with the series.

I received an ARC to review: WOW! This has got to be one of my top 21 in 2021! Remi brings the characters to life and their personalities and quirks just make them all the more authentic and endearing. The thread of humour is a breath of fresh air and the goat debacles were brilliant! Makes me want to go out and buy a goat farm! 😂 A sassy, sweet, sizzling, clean romance that will have you glued to the pages as you devour it!

I'm loving this new series! These characters are wonderful. I enjoyed Joji's progression as she learned how to care for the animals she kept adding to her goat farm. I've read most of Remi's other books, and I was excited to see Cami and Harper show up in this one! I also thought Joji's past and Clint's past played a great part in keeping them apart and bringing them together later.

Love it!

Joji Sparks is sassy and independent and that is quite a difference from Clint Jackson. But opposites do attract! I love this story and the series.

This book was absolutely wonderful! The author brought the book to life with her words, it plays out like a movie in your mind. It is full of emotions and parts of it will make you laugh out loud. Joji and Clint's story was a sweet clean second chance romance that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved this book and hated to see it end.

More Than a Pair of Jeans, #1 - Lovely. Funny. Cute. I had so much fun reading this sweet romance. Wonderful characters and interesting story lines. Written by a lovely Texan and set in Texas, complete with horses, cattle and goats. Cannot forget about the mice and kittens. Plenty of social media, too. Has a preview of the story. 5*

More Than a Pretty Face, #2 - I just love this series. This story has such cute and sweet characters with plenty of humor. No silly mind games, just people trying to make a life with the person that they love while taking care of their friends. Living well, working hard and loving with all their hearts and souls. 5*

Stargazer Springs Ranch series:
Wrangled by Lilith, #1 - I love this sweet, funny story, even when the last page came too soon. Everyone was good people whom I met before with the Stargazer Cowboy series. The dialog between Beau and Lily had me hurting from all the belly laughs. Ava added her share to the mix. Good story lines. Texans will especially enjoy this book, location and dialog. 5*

Enchanted by Joji, #2 - I love the books Remi writes. Well-written, romantic, funny, and nice characters you wish were real. Actually, you'll find people like them all over Texas. This second chance romance for a couple of 40-somethings is another fun read in this series. It is without the typical drama found in other books where she's a nut job and he has no backbone. Both work through their pasts to reach their future without the stupid formula problems, drama and actions. A feel good story. 5*

Helped by Ava, #3 - Ava is so strong in all the other books, yet, here was a bit of a headcase with her lack of self-confidence. But all worked out in this sweet, funny marriage-to-dating romance. That lil youngin Mason shared some good advice. The Mrs. Kravitz church member met her Samantha, mean ole biddy. 4*

Inspired by Mindy, #4 - You're never too old to change. Sweet. Romantic. They are both headcases, they get better once the ball gets rolling and they're working towards the same goal. The route they take is old fashioned and I love it. It is one of the best ways to learn about the other. Sir had his act together. 4*
Stargazer Springs Ranch series end.

Never Say Never Series:
Three Things I'd Never Do!, #1 - I read Enchanted by Joji when I discovered this series featured characters that would later appear in the Stargazer Springs Ranch series. Skid to a halt and shifted to reading this sweet, funny romance. I love all the characters, the interesting story lines, and the fact the author does not do the typical stupid formula, nut jobs and immature, stupid drama and decisions. It is easy to slip into one of Remi's well written books and not come back to reality until the last page. So have the next book on hand. Spoiler: The last bathroom scene is original and just as great as the first bathroom scene. Sweet and clean, nothing nasty. 5*

One Guy I'd Never Date, #2 - They have been in love for twenty years but did not know it. Big Brother keeps his Little Sister and his Best Friend apart while he did not follow that rule with her friend and co-worker. Carrot is a bit silly and Zach is not perfect. He puts beans in chili but he did have Moon Pies and RCs (RahC and chocolate or banana Moon Pies, best dessert mix back in the 60s). Waldo is a hoot. 4*

Two Words I'd Never Say Again, #3 - This is so much fun to read. There is a lot of humor, along with one of my favorite characters, Joji. Joji teamed up with Nacha's mom is a continuous hoot. Mix in the rest of the cast and it is just a sweet second chance romance story. 5*

One Choice I'd Never Make, #4 - I love Lilith and Joji, and now I love Cami. This was so much fun to read. No head games, just someone who knew she was good enough; no lack of self-confidence for Cami. Harper is so romantic and has a good head on his shoulders. Man, it is difficult not to go into book report mode. Fun. Romance. Wonder support characters, just like a large family or old-fashioned neighborhood where everyone had your back. 5*

Three Rules I’d Never Break!, #5 - All the guys in these three related series are great. This is a cute romance complete with a dog, a goat and a '71 Datsun. 5*

Two Risks I’d Never Take Again!, #6 - Sweet. Funny. Relaxing little romance with the same fun gang and a new story line. There are several chapters giving updates on the whole gang two years later. 5*

One Whopper of a Love Story, #7 - A fun tale about a mermaid and 21 frogs and the guy who rescued her. Layla is a fun person and Nico is another of the perfect guys. 5*
Never Say Never Series ends.

Kissing Holly - A simply cute, sweet romance between two people who knew each other in school. He was dating her older sister in high school. They are perfect for each other with their large caring hearts, their sense of humor and their holiday names. There is a lot of joking about their names. Plenty of humor. Plenty of love. Plenty of feel good and happiness. 5*

I “met” Joji in one of the books in the author’s Never Say Never series. She was such a larger than life character reminiscent of Auntie Mame—a redhead who was always up for an adventure, fun-loving, and fearless. I am so glad that she is getting her own story. Clint, a foreman on Stargazer Ranch, was tasked with the job of assisting Joji, the new neighbor who bought the goat farm next door. Joji didn’t know anything about goat farming and Clint was supposed to help her get started. There were only two problems with that plan—Clint hated redheads and he hated goat farming. Sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone to get you where you need to be. This story was full of humor, witty dialogue and delightful characters and it was set in a community that I’d love to visit. I enjoyed it and give it a high recommendation! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.

After reading this story, there is no way you won't become enchanted by Joji yourself. She's such a fun-loving, adventurous character, I wish she were my next door neighbor! So Joji just recently bought a goat farm, and is now Stargazer Ranch's new neighbor. Clint is a foreman on the ranch and has been asked to help out the new neighbor. Joji and Clint couldn't be more opposites, him with a gruff and grumpy persona, and her a free-spirit who lives life to the fullest. But their pull towards each other was strong and they had amazing chemistry. What begins as neighborly help turns into so much more, something neither of them was looking for or expected. A really beautiful story that Ms. Carrington brought to life with her vivid descriptions and attention to detail. A very well-written story I fully enjoyed and am happy to recommend!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Joji is a woman who takes things in stride while actually trying to live life to its fullest. Clint is a tall, but grumpy, drink of water. They are opposites in many ways but find that magnetic pull towards each other. What starts out with someone being neighborly, albeit told to, turns into a chance at love neither of them saw coming. What I liked best about this book was that I can perfectly imagine, picture and believe each of these characters. The more we learned about their interactions, it becomes apparent why they are so perfect together. I thought the story was well written and full of humor, drama, love and goats. You cannot forget the goats!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This author is new to me. At first the book seems a little slow so I put it away. When I came back to it, it started to really get interesting. I enjoyed the characters in this book. Clint the gruff, stoic cowboy and Joji the woman who would be the life of any party.

The plot wasn’t complex but about really everyday people. It was nice to see a story where there was no miscommunication but just almost everyday life. One HUGE plus for me was that the Joji is nearly 50. It is nice to see a more mature protagonist then the barely there early 20 somethings.

The story was written in a dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into the characters’ thoughts, really help me to fully understand them much better.

This is a sweet read so anyone can read and enjoy.

I read and adored book one, Wrangled by Lilith. I actually gave that one a 5-Star rating because the characters were just so endearing and had a lot of depth. Joji just didn't hit the same for me. It seemed to be lacking the complexity that Lilith brought. Joji also had a lot of extra characters that just seemed to "busy" up the story a bit too much without even fully being able to grasp who they were or where they came from.

Again though, I have to give praise for this series bringing middle aged characters to the front and center. Joji is almost 50 and I just LOVE that representation. You're never too old for new love...or a fresh start in learning how to raise goats! lol

I'll probably pick up book three at some point because I am curious about Ava's story and I'd like to see where I fall with the author's writing in that one.

Healing Their Broken Hearts -
Joji impulsively bought a goat ranch, even though she didn’t have any ranching experience. Fortunately, her neighbour asked his friend Clint to teach Joji and also help her until she gains experience. Clint had sworn off relationships, because of a past heart break, but spending time with Joji slowly opened his hardened heart.

This is a sweet, clean romantic story, that taught me about patience, having supportive friends and faith. It has swoon worthy cowboys, adventurous goats, sneaky and meddling friends, as well as a truly great storyline. I truly enjoyed reading this book and I suggest it should be your next relaxation Sunday read.

I am so in love with Miss Carrington's books. It is just so full of emotions and heart-to-heart connections. Joji and Clint's story was the one thing I have been waiting for. Sadly, someone broke Clint's heart, but he is just hiding a heart of Gold behind his gruff exterior. The story is so hilarious on its own that I did not expect anything less knowing Joji's spunkiness (if I can say this). I loved the fact that Joji was able to break Clint's barrier. I love the context of a second chance at love at all the people in this series do deserve a second chance.
Keep them coming miss Carrington, I am definitely hooked.

Enchanted by Joji is one of the very best romantic comedies that I've had the pleasure of reading. The inner dialogue is witty and the bantering between characters is so much fun! The goats and chickens make for some very humorous situations. Georgia Jean (Joji) and Clint are great characters and deserved that HEA that Ms. Carrington gave them. This is a well-told romance with lots of laughs. I would highly recommend it to clean romantic comedy readers and to clean/wholesome romance readers.
I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this well-written book.

Remi Carrington, lu 11 mars , Enchanted by Joji

I absolutely fell in love with this roller coaster romance, each character being held back by their past one way or another, filled with lots of misunderstandings, letting go of the past, drama, Joji goes through life alone on the other hand Clint is the nicest man with a lot of bad memories on his mind, the perfect unbelievable pair. An unbelievably complicated love story that will make you laugh and cry, it will keep you intrigued waiting to see what happens next until the last page, I promised.
I receive and Arc and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Joji loves animals and, at her age, doesn’t really care what people think about her. So she decides to buy a goat farm and raise goats. It didn’t matter to her that she had no idea about raising goats. Her neighbor thankfully sent over his foreman, Clint, to help her get started (and possibly to save the goats)!

This is a funny, enjoyable book that you won’t soon forget. Just remember, this is not a how-to manual for raising goats. It’s a love story and a chance to laugh your way through the pages! Grab your copy, hold your sides (continuous laughter makes your ribs ache), and hang on for the fun!

This is such a cute, funny, enjoyable story. Who at 50 buys a goat farm to run the rest of her life? Joji is that woman. She has lots of crazy things happen with her goats, especially one very bad goat who likes to climb trees for one thing. She is a woman that takes in stray cats, a dog, more goats: animals that need a new home Clint knows how to run the farm but doesn't want a woman, especially one that owns a goat farm. So does he loosen up & fall in love? You'll have to read this book to find out but you won't be disappointed about the adventure with Joji & Clint. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary review.

I am totally Enchanted by Joji. This book was so much fun to read that I am ready to read it again! I want to visit the goat farm and ride in her big purple truck. (Since I am only 4'9", I may need more than her crate to get in, but it would be so worth the trouble!) I loved that Joji is starting new adventures at almost 50. I loved her bantering with Clint. In fact, I would award this book 11 stars if more than 5 were possible. This book is a sweet, heartwarming, laugh out loud, romantic comedy that almost anyone would enjoy!

This is book 2 in Carrington's Stargazer Springs Ranch series and is the first book I've read by this author - where have I been? I was completely blown away - and in a good way! Amazing characters and they way Carrington writes paints a picture like no other. A clean romance that will captivate your attention and your heart. This is the story of two people that need each other. They are both broken in their own ways. Both are older and have been single most of their lives. It is great story with plenty of characters and you end up loving being able to be part of their lives. I will be looking for more books from this author. If you are looking for hot sex scenes this is not the book for you but it does have a nice slow burn and lots of fun flirting in it.

Joji buys a goat farm and needs help learning what to do, her friend Lilith's husband, Beau, owns the ranch next door, and sends his foreman, Clint, over to help. Joji is trying to rescue a goat up a tree when he arrives. He rescues her but is quite abrupt, he hates goats and redheads, at least that's what it seems to be.
Joji really likes Clint but realises that he only sees her as a friend, at best.

An amusing tale from Remi, a great read.

Joji decided she wanted to buy a goat farm. She didn’t know the first thing about goats. So, her neighbor sent his foreman Clint to help her out.

I loved this book. The subject, goats, are near and dear to my heart. The book was filled with laughter, friendship and love. Ms Carrington did a great job of explaining how to raise goats. Can’t wait for the next book.

Enjoyed reading Joji and Clint's story when she arrives at her newly purchased goat farm with no idea how to care for them. Clint is send from another farm to show her how to care for her goats and even though he does not like goats because he grew up on a goat farm and he really does not like the talkative Joji with her many questions he gets attached to her and her goats. Lovely story with two very different people who are perfect for each other.
